Hi all, I tried to root my XT1550 with unlocked bootloader, using the kingroot rooting app as I was in a situation without a pc.. SURPRISINGLY I could root my phone. The only problem is that the phone works fine except that there are no mobile signals.
Any idea?
Update: apologize if I had not mentioned earlier that my phone's bootloader is unlocked. Post flashing the stock 6.0.1 mm firmware, wanted to first try the unrooted phone feel. But eventually I realized that I needed to root it to have the frameworks installed. However I was in a situation without the PC and tried to root my bootloader unlocked and unrooted phone with kingroot and landed in a situation as described above. Thebanswe I expect is about the phone signals / modem not being detected.

Just curious if you unlocked your bootloader?
You need to unlock bootloader before proceeding to root...
Unlock bootloader first and install twrp...
If no pc....then try to reset phone from stock recovery.
Of course my bootloader is unlocked. I had flashed the 6.0.1 from factory firmware. It is just that I was in a situation where I had no PC and wanted to try rooting my phone, which I could but had the problem as mentioned..

Hi,
I've got a F-08D, which is similar to a T-01D..
I've tried using so many different ways, but I can't root my F-08D phone..
I've tried Z4 Root, SuperOneClick, GingerBreak and I think all the other 'One Click Rooting' apps..
please help~~
Thanks
locked or unlocked?
is you phone locked or unlocked? basically what I'm asking is can you flash over some sort of recovery that will let you flash su into the system from the bootloader?
My phone's unlocked..
Unlocked it in Japan from NTT Docomo..
and I don't get the stuffs about the 'su'..
I purchased the phone brand new thinking it would come with the very first firmware so I wouldn't run into this issue.
Well. I'm scratching my head debating whether or not to send it back.
I have successfully obtained ROOT using Towel-Root. But I'd really like to unlock my boot-loader!!!!
I have Googled everything I could think of, watched NUMEROUS videos. But no one else is running 9.30.1.
I have read that if I take the OTA update to 184.x.x then I would be screwed with ROOT and boot-loader.
Am I missing something? Or is it not possible to unlock boot-loader on 9.30.1?
If it's not possible, is it possible to use fastboot to flash Cyanogenmod to my XT926 without custom recovery since I have obtained ROOT?
This really sucks. I just upgraded from an XT907 running 184.46.15 and was upset because I could not gain root.
Can I update to newer android OS and still obtain root on my XT926?
I've done it!
Download the 183.46.10 update.
Use RSDLite 6.1.4 to flash the update.
Towelroot to root.
Motopocalypse to unlock bootloader.
PROFIT.
Hi, guys
I'm new to XDA so if this is the wrong subforum for this kind of question just tell me where to post it.
So I recently bought a new phone, a Hisense U800 Infinity H6.
I installed an OTA, and then rooted the device using Kingo on windows out of desperation (No other rooting method available).
When I try to do a OTA update now, I get a message in broken chinese-english that says:
"Your phone has been root or by brush! "
It's quite obvious that my rooting the phone revoked ota privileges. I've tried unrooting and it doesnt work, also, there is no recovery available for my device.
Is there a way I can restore this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Additional Info:
Using Fast boot i was able to determine that the bootloader is unlocked.
Now i don't know if Kingo did this or if it was unlocked by default. I guess i should've checked this first.
BUMP
Or if anyone can tell me how to fix the ringing volume thats not responding to volume down. Either maximum or off.
Kitkat 4.4.2
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist Since you have unlocked bootloader there is no way to relock it hence even if you flash stock chances are high system will detect bootloader unlock.
Good Luck!
is there an easy way to root this mate 7? it is version MT7-L09V100R001C00B143.
i tried kingroot and it doesnt seem to do it. it just resets the phone and nothing happens.
the bootloader is locked. i have NOT unlocked it as it is a tedious process thats just annoying.
please advise
I used kingroot last night and worked fine.
I'm currently on AKOP with TWRP installed, I was using this for almost a month without any issues. But recently I'd to turn off my mobile but when I tried to turn on it has been stuck on bootloader (unicorn logo) ever since, I tried restarting again but in vein.
Help me get back to stock EMUI, with bootloader locked and no root. I don't have any backups nor am I aware of the model number (this was first time I rooted)
Please guide me step by step I'm new to this.
Check this, there is already a guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/how-to/how-to-to-stock-emui-5-0-flashing-twrp-t3679985
