[Completed] Root Samsung Galaxy young duos S6312

Trying to root my S6312, but the framaroot apk cannot be installed. I get an error that my device is out of space.
Which cannot be:
- 1.2GB internal memory free
- about 370MB memory free of 665MB
Question 1: Framaroot apk does not work, or am I doing something wrong?
Question 2: The Rom is missing of the following web link, does anyone know where I can find it now?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2601838
Help is apriciated!:good:
Hi,
I suggest you check out this thread. The first page had lots of info, including the proper way to root, and flash a custom recovery, which you would need to flash any roms.
> Samsung Galaxy Young S6310 > Galaxy Young S6310 General > Galaxy Young GT-S6312 Development Thread
As far as the rom you asked about, not much you can do if the Dev doesn't have links to the rom any more. After you get to 10 posts, you can always ask in the rom thread. But there's a good chance the project is dead if the links don't work.
You can ask for help with rooting in the thread I linked as well.
All other questions about your device can be asked here, if you don't see a similar thread already there....

Good luck!
So far so good
I done as the link mentioned:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2693049
But I don't understand the part Quote">Use UP & DOWN key to navigate items & Power key to Selection."
Entering in CWM!!
1. Switch off the Phone completely.
2. Press & Hold Volume Up + Home + Power Key.
CWM will appeared!
>Use UP & DOWN key to navigate items & Power key to Selection.
What am I supposed to do in step 2, after rebooting and entering CWM?
I don't see the option "item and powerkey to selection" ....
Kindest regards,
Chihwha Li

Question 4: I tried to use the app "Link2SD" and got the error "Failure. App2SD is not supprted by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage."
What can I do to solve this?

Please use the links I provided to ask for help. For your new question, use my second link.
As for your question about use volume up down... Volume up and down navigate you up and down the cwm menus. The power key is used to select an option. ?

GREAT SIR
I temporarily fixed it by doing a factory reset, loosing all data. But after successfully rooting my device it did not take long before the problem came back.
This thread can be closed, because I succeed in rooting. I opened another thread for asking help about my problem.
Great! But please do open it in the section I linked in my first reply. Your device section. ?

[Completed] "New device setup complete" Notification

I have a stock Moto X 2014 (Verizon) and a Galaxy Nexus (Verizon) running Lollipop. On the gnex's initial boot I used the Bluetooth device setup and now I get a persistent notification on the X from google play services that says "New device setup complete" and shows the date and time of transfer. I can't figure out why this keeps coming up after I reboot. I've found that I can remove it by going into the app maintenance and hiding notifications, but it can't be swiped away and comes back on boot. Any ideas?

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist and there is no forum specifically for the "A" Series at this time but I suggest that you ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help or one of the Galaxy Tab Forums from the list at http://forum.xda-developers.com/compact. Those are good places to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you.
Good luck!

[Completed] [How-To] [Root] How to ban Google Bar from recents ?

Does that nasty white bar in recents annoy or disturb you ? There's a solution.
First, you should disable or uninstall (recommended) Google App. After this you will probably get "Couldn't ass widget"
Then get some root toolbox to clear data of System UI and Android System.
Soon afterwards you must restart your phone and potionally wipe cache.
Done ! It worked for me on Zenfone 2.
As a senior member on the site, I would think you know better places to post this. Also, you should know to read the stickies in a section, like this one from Assist, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2764768
Please post this in an appropriate section. :good:
