How To Get Rid Of: SPRINT always displayed in notificaftions after Android 6.0 Update - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note5

i just noticed this after updating. it's minor, but it's very annoying. i looked through the settings, but i can't seem to find a way to get rid of this stupid new "feature." has anyone found a way?
my phone is completely stock.

I think if you are rooted and use exposed you can get rid of it. Otherwise I haven't found a way yet.

My wife took it. She doesn't worry about rooting, etc. It's still 4.4.2, version went to 20u. Seemed very small. Must be minor fixes.

Problem
Hey, I was recently forced updated and my g2 is rooted. Ever since then I can't seem to play any games from the google store, not sure what else it's done haven't had time to check . All they do when click on there app is load for a couple of seconds then goes back to the home screen, I dont know if it has anything to do with the update but the were working fine before. Is it possible to uninstall those updates or am I screwed?

For those with root and PR firmware..

I found the carrier related stuff in /cust/CLR_COM and i just deleted everything in there. Was that a bad idea?
The annoying bootanimation, and ringtones are gone. I can edit voicemail settings, can change to LTE (not sure if that was something else I did though), and everything seems to work just fine. It would seem that it makes the phone like the international model. Anyone have any insight, or has anyone else tried and know of the damages it may cause?
Edit: Have confirmation it doesn't break anything. Feel free to just rename the folder, reboot, and that's it. Or, if you're like me, banish it to oblivion.
I just renamed the CLR_COM folder and haven't noticed any issues yet.
Thanks!
All still going good for you guys?

No issues yet.
Now we know why the Claro boot animations kept sneaking back!
Just renamed it. Had a couple of apps crash. Did a reboot and all is good now and all of that Claro stuff is gone. Good find @mr.wizard

New Update received

Just got a new update...don't know what is...since I'm on OG5...I'm taking it. Here goes...
So what is it?
New everything. OG7...new baseband kernel...I haven't seen any new things outright. Phone seems more responsive... Holds an LTE signal better in my area. Still looking.
3 options in Notifications On Lockscreen now...the new option to Hide Content is present
I can confirm an update is available on mine too. I'm currently on OG5 and downloading a new OTA now. I'm in Oregon.
Memory leak issue fixed?
What about the new icons like the international version? Oh and live broadcast mode in camera?

Have you disabled any apps particularly system apps? Maybe something was inadvertently disabled and is keeping the update from being able to install. Do you receive any error message or codes?

posting that this update allowed for new locked LTE bands to become unlocked. Is this possible? I need to know because updating the phone is going to be a big hassle since mine is rooted and cannot update without first restoring it..
Please let me know if this is possible and if you find any links confirming it.

Nice. Anyone know what apps to freeze or disable to block the OTA? Just rooted stock rom now, but want to make sure my phone doesn't try to download OTA when it comes. Will return to full stock for that.

Well if you are worried that your phone will update automatically, it won't because your /system partition has been modified (you have root access). Either way, you will be notified about the update and you can simply ignore it.

Did you have any issues using LG Bridge? I getting an error on my device right at 49% that says "Image Verifying Failed", two times in red. After that message I get a message in Bridge that I need to retry the update (retrying gets the same error).

Nope
I also used LG Bridge. Fingerprint scanner works great now with my Otterbox case. I had no problems updating through Bridge, took maybe 20 minutes.

I took the update thru the LG Bridge. It came thru flawlessly. Things I've noticed...
- Fingerprint scanner seems to be very sensitive now. Registering a new fingerprint was effortless, unlike the first times I did it. MUCH improved.
- 2nd screen functionality for notifications seem better. My messages wouldn't scroll when they got displayed, now they do.
- MUCH better battery life.
- Sharing options are improved BIG TIME. It gives frequently used phone numbers now.
- The dialer has a native video call option now and it's awesome. I called my girlfriend on her Galaxy S6 Edge and she got the option to answer or answer in a video call. Very nice.
- Maybe placebo, but the camera seems a bit snappier.
Anyway, those are my thoughts on the update. Very nice and welcomed update. Also, this is the only phone I've never had to root just to get some extra functionality.

Did anybody else notice a difference in front and rear camera quality while taking a picture and the marshmallow update?
I'm excited about the update I'm one of the few who have problems with the fingerprint scanner when I put a case on my phone but without a case this is got to be one of the fastest unlocking phones with fingerprint I've ever owned and I've owned quite a few phones... I'm going to update to marshmallow tonight
