[APP] Camera and Gallery of One Plus One [APP]

Hello everyone, I have recovered the 'camera and gallery .apk of 1 +1.
Copy the apk in system / app, set permissions and reboot.
Tested on ROM Samy Deluxe "J"
Result: Gallery work
Camera not work
Ps: Let me know who works and who does not

Camera and gallery working here, i9500 Omega v18 NB3
However 360 panorama cause FC which is to be expected..
Otherwise it's all good..

I've fixed the camera. Attached one should work fine. Unzip it and then install (for unknown reason board doesn't allow me to upload apk directly.)
NOTE: you have to uninstall previous CameraNext before install the fixed one due to different signing certificate.
P.S.: i didn't find anything special in this camera. Standard Samsung's camera provides all CameraNext features and many other functions.

Panorama mode requires additional files, which i don't have. I've found this CameraNext in one of XDA thread some time ago. Today i've found this thread and decided to upload it.
If someone will provide full dump of ROM then i will try to fix panorama.

NOTE1: Install it just like normal application. Don't copy it to system partition. If you want to copy to system, then you need to extract .so file from apk and copy to /system/lib.
NOTE2: If you cannot install this camera, then uninstall previous version of CameraNext and then install attached version.

I test with CameraNext CM11 latest version, it works very well, the quality is better than stock CM11 (slightly better) version, but the HDR mode does not work! (gray photo)
For what reason you post the fix?

I read the first post ^ ^ But I did not understand why you had problems!
I realized that it was because you were on TouchWizz! And therefore need a fix! AOSP on the camera works very well except hdr. The person who made the change cameranext for TW and deleted hdr because it not work, unless the nexus models
The HDR mode is present in the base apk installed CM11 but does not work (photo gray) as before Cyanogen team hdr fix for stock camera.

Well, i've took CameraNext.apk from system dump. There are more options in settings. I can choose to save in internal storage or SD card, can set speed for HFR video recording and resolution. But i don't see any options for HDR, nor any button on the main screen to activate HDR.
This camera has very sick cryptic interface. I've suddenly discovered that HFR video activates only if i choose Sport mode - oh yeah very intuitive, especially if keep in mind that in settings it called "Slow motion video". I didn;t guess yet, how to activate HDR. Anyway, HFR pretends as working, but it doesn't work actually (it still records at 30fps). May be because higher framerate should be activated by special vendor-specific command. May be it can be tweaked to samsung driver, but won't do this. This camera is no way close to TW Samsung camera - so i'm not going to use it anyway.

Why would you need this?

Other OEM ROMs like TouchWiz: not included, feel free to try.
Other minimalistic ROMs (like BoostPop) that don't bundle the AOSP Gallery: not included, feel free to try.

Well, can anyone mod the app to have both Vertical scroll and Horizontal scroll. People prefer vertical over horizontal. Like the 'Vertical Gallery' in play store has that option, but it is not material design yet.

It could be conflicting with the Gallery app already installed on your device.

Try copying my apk into /System/Apps. Or you can just reflash the ROM zip without wiping data.

Copied to system/app and set permissions to 0644, but when I attempt to edit an image it force closes.
I imagine this is due to missing lib's, although I do see that they are included in the apk, any ideas?
I have a Nexus 5 running stock 5.1.1.

The easiest easy is to just install the apk instead of dropping it in /system/app. The apk has been packaged in a way so that the libs get installed automatically.

First and maybe the most important thing is to make a backup of your current rom.
Clean flash of your rom is recommended, because this is a really deep port and you may have problems with some adds and mods.

If there is no HDR/HQ buttons in the app and you don't get "processing" dialog when taking picture, you will need to use the Camera HAL1 Enabler to fix this.

Reboot in to the system and clear the camera app data.
If you have done everything correctly, you should now have HQ/HDR buttons in the app.

You can choose to remove or not the CM stock camera and gallery when you flash the package.
To be on the safe side, wipe cache/dalvik cache after flashing it.

Just flashed this over sultan's cm - device failed to boot (boot animation keeps going without ever reaching exception pin request screen)
Tried both keeping and removing cm camera / gallery options

I flashed this on bjb RR

If I'm not mistaken, the zip does not contain a backup script, so it will be needed to reflash the camera after each nightly update.

In the OP it has been stated that the camera port is working ONLY on the original CM13.
So folks, please stop posting things like "woah, doesn't work on ROM XYZ". Thanks.

The downloading zip is without nothing for me... ¿¿¿???

I have test with latest nightly cm13 and latest opengapps. I have remove also cm cam and cm gallery. On first start the cam make good pictures, but after this i will make a pictures this will not saved. Without touch to focus the picture are very unsharpen.
Edit: HQ is every time working, also HDR but HDR A not working, this modus will not make a picture. Whene i make a picture without hq and hdr (normal modus) i see a very long processing after i have make the picture and i must close the cam.

Are you using the official CM nightly?
I got some bugs on my PACROM so I just made a clean install of latest CM and is working like a charm.

Well, it's fully working for me without any bug. I tried every single mode and all of them are saving files. If you can't see them with your gallery maybe you need to reboot your device or try to do a clean install of CM.

I have make a clean install. Make a picture with HDR A and you will see the the cam make not a picture.

OK, I found 2 bugs:
- If you take a picture and you move your hand before it process the capture, it will not save the file sometimes.
- Raw files are not saving.
RAW == Saving ?
with AutoHDR = No
without HDR = No
without HDR/ HQ = No
with HDR = Yes
with HQ = Yes
with flash = Yes
with Manual = No

Okay confirmed! Not working on Arter's CM. Thought It'd work since Arter's ROM is based on CM. Anyways, I'll wait for the progress. Thanks for your hard work @siankatabg!

C'mon really? The thread has 2 pages, it was already discussed and is written (and marked) in the OP. "For now this port is tested and probably will only work with the official CM13 rom" His work is based on Cm13, the official version. Every rom which is doing things differently is likely not working.

i managed to port camera from oos 3.5.6 oneplus 2
if u have have installed the camera port v3.5 oos 3.0.2 by ghbuur :
1) delete oneplus camera and oneplus camera service from system/priv-app
2) delete org.codeaurora.camera.jar from system/framework
then reboot to recovery to flash.
after flashing clear data of oneplus camera.
happy flashing

In miui 8 is not necessary flash this zip, because this rom is based h2o and the camera is better than 7.0 roms

So it is not the same camera V1.4.0 as it is in older versions?

Can anyone tried confirm this worked nice on Lineage OS 14.1 ? Does it play nicely, and does the camera app change?

The inbuilt camera gallery that comes when we swipe right to left after taking a pic doesnt come properly. What i mean is that it comes but you cant unzoon and view pics as in a filmstrip, see attached screenshot

Assume it is the same as the 1.40?

This version is visually a bit different than that of 3.0.2 port's v1.4.0.
can anyone tell me how do I save raw photos on lineage? There is no option to enable it in settings

The app works fine by far on SuperiorOS (9.0).
Manual mode working, but the raw photos seem to be broken.
Panorama doesn't work.
The quality of pictures and videos is okayish.

I wonder what are the new features you added?
I really like MIUI camera, it's better than Gcam for daylight and selfie photo.
Except the night photo. Gcam with exposure +8 is truly amazing. As it has longer exposure up to 5-10 seconds.
I wonder if it can be replicated on MIUI camera too?
Adding image stabilizer is also great if possible. Take night photo for 5 seconds by barehand is almost impossible but the reward is huge.

Hi Guys,
Update Mi A2 Camera Port
This is not my original Mod or Port, I just replace .xml file to libra.xml files to get some feature works.
Original Mod on here by mizdrake7
Here my Miui Camera v2.0 - Beta
I have try on Mi4c with AEX rom.
Hope you enjoy this copy-paste MOD.

Different port ways, on your post is original port by stars2 while this one port by Arnova8G2.
But xda thread from stars2 are removed and he discontinue his miui camera port.
I think port by stars2 is better ways but I can't get all feature like original Mi4c camera on his latest build.

I really like MIUI camera, it's better than Gcam for daylight and selfie photo.
Except the night photo. Gcam with exposure +8 is truly amazing. As it has longer exposure up to 5-10 seconds.
I wonder if it can be replicated on MIUI camera too?
Adding image stabilizer is also great if possible. Take night photo for 5 seconds by barehand is almost impossible but the reward is huge.

I have not adding any feature just replace some files to get camera feature as original on Mi4c like Auto HDR or Manual Camera.
I have zero knowledge about port or mod, just copy-paste updated files on original .zip files.

Confused
Installed successfully in TWRP, but miui camera not show in app drawer and application manager.
How to fix it?

Miui Camera v2.0 - BETA+ (with portrait, ai, hht and zoom parameter on .xml)
But I don't know if it really works.
Note : When open app got notice can't connect camera and force close, please enable permission by manual on settings.

How do I uninstall this?
All video I shot after installing this has purple tint to it, both in default LOS camera app and this one. :: NVM. I found the real problem now.
I still want to know the answer to the above question, though.

I don't know how to make recent build works on Libra, since I just know to edit .xml files and update some files on the .zip
This is my recent mod MIUI Camera 2.0 - BETA
I have tested on Libra with AEX Oreo and AEX Pie both works well and no need camera2 to works

Hi! Mirror front camera is not working in v1.6. Please fix it. Also, I'm confused why you haven't updated your 2.0 beta+ version in O.P. Is it not stable? I am asking because I am gonna try it now. I was originally thinking of updating to from 1.6 experimental to 2.0 beta. But now, while scrolling through the page, I came across 2.0 beta +. Please warn me before it's too late. I don't have a pc to correct my mistakes if anything goes wrong.
My device: Moto E3 Power XT1706 (taido_row)
ROM: Stock ROM
TWRP recovery (unofficial by moderator) + magisk v19 root.

You can dirty flash your rom to remove this mod, v2 need to enable permission by manual on app setting.
That why error message "can't connect camera".

I use libra camera for .xml parameter that why you get error or unworking camera on other device.
All, I think the stable miui camera already on magisk module but less feature.
If you want advance feature just replace .xml file on .apk with the modded ones or add some parameter for any feature that can work on miui camera.
Simply mod just replace .xml file using 7zip on windows without extract the .zip files.

Mixplorer for Android also allows editing zip files without unzipping them. ?

Hey!
I just test it on my libra, but I found it cannot work on Lineage17.1. The app always shows it cannot connect to camera, please reboot and retry like this. How can I do?
