Hello all,
read from time with great interest your forums, in particular the section of my (old) HTC Desire S. Thanks to you with great pleasure I can still use my phone, with great satisfaction with newer versions of Android, and the phone responds very well!
Last weekend I took advantage of having to format and restore the factory settings, to try to put something more updated rom, compared to the 10.1 CM (andromadus / flinny ver 22).
Unfortunately I had to retrace my steps and return the same version (build 25) for these problems:
- The CM 13 I did not try...
- Tried the CM 12.1 (nightly 20160320), the system starts and everything seems to work, although with considerable slowness. Unwieldy, although nice to see Lollipop on our old device!
- Tried the CM 11 (nightly 20160305) but unfortunately the system will block continuously in the initial setup wizard (which asks for the language) and are not able to proceed.
- Tried the CM 11 (andromadus / flinny alpha 5), better than the point above, but some apps (like whatsapp) not they set it as a "device not supported" ...
then opted to return on JellyBean and CM 10.1
I apologize if these questions have already been addressed above, I apologize for my English "by Google" (!) and if anyone has any advice is welcome!
Greetings to all

CM Team will maybe not support us in 4.3, but i just want to say its possible.
The device is faster than 10.1 and have the exact same bugs.
Camera is ok, but we have a common problem with other ics devices about the screenshot system (used to switch between apps).
Also, we need a compatible gapps package... (or maybe an updated one)
To be continued....
Hi everyone!
Nice to be here!
This is my first post on this forum, however i read this forum a long time...
I'm not a developer. I'm a user.
I have no difficulty in preparing the environment and follow instructions, and even adapt some things (not in this case).
Last week, I compiled a version of cyanogenmod 11, following this tutorial. (http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_p3110).
I take special attention to these steps:
3.8 Prepare the device-specific code
3.9 Extract proprietary blobs
Instead 10.2, i used the CM11 source.
Everything worked fine, but after install the ROM, the device camera (Samsung Tablet P3110) doesn't work. A message appears saying it cannot connect to camera.
In other unofficial builds of CM11 for my device, like nightly version (http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=p3110), and codyF86 version (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525713), the camera works fine!
Could, please, any of you give me a hint as why the camera doesn't work on my build, and what i must do to fix it?
Right now, i'm using CodyF86 version, and the camera is OK.
I would realy like to use my own build on my device, even that in the essence, almost all builds available out there, is the same thing...
I already do some research on the forum, and after that, I think that is something related to manifest.xml... But I don't know how to deal with it...
Hope someone can help...
Did you manage to solve the issue?

I actually have this fixed but at the cost of a major crash that leads to a reboot after the screen attempt to come back on when a call has ended. As soon as I get back to the mainland (I'm on vacation in the Caribbean) where bandwidth is plentiful I'll get in contact with the OP if he has time.
Sorry for this, but since the CM11 and the sudden death of One Mini's issue, I'm concerned.
Has it been solved ?
Is CM12 having similar issues, or not ?
I've lost quite a few episodes, so I don't know if it been fixed since CM11 latest updates, etc.

There has been no official statement on this issue.
An updated thermald config was implemented in CM-code somewhere last summer/fall, presumably solving the overheating issue.
It is not 100% clear whether issue is solved, though, because there has been at least 1 report of overheated & bricked M4 under the patched thermald config right after it was first posted as a separate patch.
I must say the above applies only to the official CM11 M7 snapshop and nightlies thereafter. I have no experience or knowledge about later snapshots or this, unofficial CM12 port.
Can only say there have been no reports on XDA about bricked devices somehwere since summer/fall.

Nice job! Like the CM12 Themer...although there are some issues with lockscreen wallpaper, I understand that is across the board.
Has the bluetooth audio problem that I'm experiencing in the Candy Rom as well. Currently using your rom as my daily driver because that's really all the issues I'm having.
Very peppy and happy to see another version of Lollipop for our device!
Thanks for your report man !
I think these types of issues gonna be fix in future builds, in fact it depends of the blobs and cm updates.
I'll try to make weekly builds of this ROM.

Thanks for a great ROM dude I am also using as my daily driver, got same issue with Bluetooth Audio and seem to have slight connectivity issues nothing major (might not be ROM related) but is first time have experienced this. Looking forward to your future builds.
27/01 build
Update: Finally got around to flashing this. Glad to say everything works as expected. However, I didn't test its Bluetooth. It comes on just not sure how solid it is. But aside from that. Great build.
All of the new features CM guys incorporated are pretty snazzy too.
Waiting for my SO to get home and I'll flash this.
hi/mic issue
flashed this rom.
everything is working finde. BUT still there is for me an issue with the microphone. i had it on cm11 too
during calls, the other one cant hear me good, i think the mic volume is too low. is there a way to boost it?
PS: On my S1 Galaxy there is a app called "voodoo sound". with this app i could boost mic volume and the other one could hear me better.
But after long searches i couldnt find similar apps for the one mini.
With the insert coin rom the problem is still there, but i think with cm its worse. i need this mic fix, otherwise i cant use this phone any longer -.-
official CM release?
Hi,
is a official cyanogenmod 12 release planed for M4?
thx
Hi guys, this is my first post.
I had a Xoom MZ601 EVEREST with stock 4.0.4 and wanted to update it in order to be able to use Nokia Here Maps (android 4.1+ required). I have tried the EOS stable 3.0, Cyanogenmod 10 stable and 10.1 nightly, using always the proper Gapps pack and following the instructions.
I got everything working well but I cannot even open the here maps app, as soon as I open it it closes immediately, this happens with 4.1.1 and 4.1.2. Best I could achieve is a black screen on CM 10.1 4.2.2.
Any thoughts on where could be the problem?
FYI I tried the last version and two old betas, same results.
Thanks!
I am attaching the debug logs:
here.app.maps-debug.txt (events when trying to open here maps)
before_opening-debug.txt (event before opening here maps, the app it is mentioned in some lines).

When can get build official cyanogenmod 14.1
I9305 didn't get official CM12, but will obtain CM13? Also whhy not CM14? Unofficial CM14 builds works for me better than most of CM13 based ROMs... But I miss custom kernels for it.
Although great work. I can't understand that, but if it's true finally our device will obtain something newer and official
# do not ask for ETAs
# other unofficial builds use hacks which, in my opinion, put your phone under security risks
# my code is fully opensource, others one don't
# CM-13.0 is the most stable OS at the moment
# update code from CM-11.0 has not been an easy and quick task
# 1 official build per week
# donations are always appreciated
Let's please keep to the topic of the thread
Thread cleaned
Will it support custom kernels like AGNi?
Again OT .... tststs so we will get here only cleaning posts

Great work there, I agree, android 6.0 is stable and still makes sense to use on such old phone(tried 7.1 on my I9300 few days ago, it was rocking good until I installed gapps on top of it...) I highly appreciate your work on this low interest device, official is always official

Did a clean flash today.
Found few bugs:
* Network mode doesn't work. I couldn't change LTE to 3G or 2G.
* Battery icon in status bar doesn't show battery % within icon. Initially it does but soon it disappears.
Clean flash. I've found this bug: "hardware" menu key always start "recent apps", also if I change configuration in Settings/Buttons etc...
Hi guys,
First of all, thanks for trying to maintain CM on i9305 with a clean RIL. (Even though the workarounds still work, it makes me feel safer).
Two things I noticed (then i reverted back to p.a.n.'s build):
- The UI seems slow every few seconds.
- No cell network (tried to go to settings and see if it finds any carrier but it says Error and tells me the SIM isn't recognized after a few seconds, even though he asked for my PIN code when I booted, so the SIM sure is there and recognized)
I'll setup adb and try to log what happened, I'll post back when I have those logs.
I did a factory reset, then installed the rom, then gapps pico and then wiped ART cache, maybe I forgot something ?
Something that might give clues, when i installed this ROM, the default language was US, but I reverted back, the language changed to French (Canada) because he recognized my SIM as a French/Canadian one (There was a toast notification).

Network settings worked fine for me except network mode. Also had no bug in language selection. Try any latest modem
Reflashing the modem solved the network connectivity problem.
There is substantial lag in all screen transitions compared with the unofficial CM13 builds. Also, could not open a bug report on JIRA because there is no i9305 device listed there.
This build lags a lot. Unofficial CM builds are a lot faster
:Flashed this today. Have been using p.a.n's build of 13. Here are a few notes for others:
Installing:
* Don't rely on the SD Card being in "Format as Internal Storage" mode (my first time trying it). I initially tried a dirty flash and it didn't work at all. The usual advice on making good backups applies here.
* You'll need the latest modem. I just flashed the latest stock rom from this thread. Without a new modem, you won't get any cell connectivity and the UI will hang OFTEN.
* You may need the latest TWRP. I had issues with a version below 3.0.
Bugs:
* As above. Can't change cell network modes. Occasional hangs (not too horrible with newer modem).
* Compass seems to be about 180° out? Slow satellite acquisition? I'll keep an eye on this through the week.
Edit: actually the GPS is fine. Just took a while on first lock.
Everything else seems to work. I'm going to keep an eye out for the wakelock bug that was in the other build. Thanks for your attention OP! This has been a fantastic device. Looking forward to more nightlies :good:
