When can get build official cyanogenmod 14.1
I9305 didn't get official CM12, but will obtain CM13? Also whhy not CM14? Unofficial CM14 builds works for me better than most of CM13 based ROMs... But I miss custom kernels for it.
Although great work. I can't understand that, but if it's true finally our device will obtain something newer and official
# do not ask for ETAs
# other unofficial builds use hacks which, in my opinion, put your phone under security risks
# my code is fully opensource, others one don't
# CM-13.0 is the most stable OS at the moment
# update code from CM-11.0 has not been an easy and quick task
# 1 official build per week
# donations are always appreciated
Let's please keep to the topic of the thread
Thread cleaned
Will it support custom kernels like AGNi?
Again OT .... tststs so we will get here only cleaning posts

Great work there, I agree, android 6.0 is stable and still makes sense to use on such old phone(tried 7.1 on my I9300 few days ago, it was rocking good until I installed gapps on top of it...) I highly appreciate your work on this low interest device, official is always official

Did a clean flash today.
Found few bugs:
* Network mode doesn't work. I couldn't change LTE to 3G or 2G.
* Battery icon in status bar doesn't show battery % within icon. Initially it does but soon it disappears.
Clean flash. I've found this bug: "hardware" menu key always start "recent apps", also if I change configuration in Settings/Buttons etc...
Hi guys,
First of all, thanks for trying to maintain CM on i9305 with a clean RIL. (Even though the workarounds still work, it makes me feel safer).
Two things I noticed (then i reverted back to p.a.n.'s build):
- The UI seems slow every few seconds.
- No cell network (tried to go to settings and see if it finds any carrier but it says Error and tells me the SIM isn't recognized after a few seconds, even though he asked for my PIN code when I booted, so the SIM sure is there and recognized)
I'll setup adb and try to log what happened, I'll post back when I have those logs.
I did a factory reset, then installed the rom, then gapps pico and then wiped ART cache, maybe I forgot something ?
Something that might give clues, when i installed this ROM, the default language was US, but I reverted back, the language changed to French (Canada) because he recognized my SIM as a French/Canadian one (There was a toast notification).

Network settings worked fine for me except network mode. Also had no bug in language selection. Try any latest modem
Reflashing the modem solved the network connectivity problem.
There is substantial lag in all screen transitions compared with the unofficial CM13 builds. Also, could not open a bug report on JIRA because there is no i9305 device listed there.
This build lags a lot. Unofficial CM builds are a lot faster
:Flashed this today. Have been using p.a.n's build of 13. Here are a few notes for others:
Installing:
* Don't rely on the SD Card being in "Format as Internal Storage" mode (my first time trying it). I initially tried a dirty flash and it didn't work at all. The usual advice on making good backups applies here.
* You'll need the latest modem. I just flashed the latest stock rom from this thread. Without a new modem, you won't get any cell connectivity and the UI will hang OFTEN.
* You may need the latest TWRP. I had issues with a version below 3.0.
Bugs:
* As above. Can't change cell network modes. Occasional hangs (not too horrible with newer modem).
* Compass seems to be about 180° out? Slow satellite acquisition? I'll keep an eye on this through the week.
Edit: actually the GPS is fine. Just took a while on first lock.
Everything else seems to work. I'm going to keep an eye out for the wakelock bug that was in the other build. Thanks for your attention OP! This has been a fantastic device. Looking forward to more nightlies :good:
Help
I Wanna Upgrade From CM 12.1 To CM 13 ???
Do I Need To Wipe ??
What Should I Do With Logs ?? xD

Excellent work, and once again thanks a lot for your work crpalmer!
BTW, I believe that the last after all changes from the last unofficial build is merged into CM code, it should be good enough to be promoted to an M-Release!

Yes, I would have put it in for a M release if it had gotten merged in time. Assuming I don't screw it up in the next few weeks it should get the next M release.
Thanks! Great work!
Nice, just in time I received my 8.4. Finally an official build for this nice tablet. It's flashing time again
Installed nightlys and have problem with connection to Play Store. Get message "No connection", but Mail Chrome a s o don´t missing connection.
Did 2 clean insatll with Gapps from your link and got the same result, no connection to Play Store. Go back to unofficeill version CM and Play Store working great.
I am so happy to see this device become official. The time you did all of this in is simply amazing.
Thank you.
Are nighties ROMS that we will flash everynight that have small changes?
Will Goo.Manager be able to update our "CM11" because it is official?
thanks

Do a web search. This is a fairly common problem and I believe that the fixes are basically to clear cache / data for the app and if that doesn't work to try a factory reset (but do the search and see what it says).

I don't use Goo Manager so I don't know what it will or won't do. You also don't really need it. You can get updates by going to Setting >> About tablet >> CyanogenMod updates and making sure that you select that you want to get the nightlies. If there aren't any problems, last night's build should be ready in about 45 minutes (so if you check now it will just show the first nightly as and say it is installed).
Nightlies are literally whatever the current code is when it runs a build each night. They could have little to no changes or there could be huge changes. Most of the time the changes are good but there is always a risk of nasty bugs in nightlies (for example, yesterday's build had a beep every 10 seconds when making voice calls on all phones) so if you are risk adverse, stick with the monthly M builds (when they become available for our tablet).

The best advice that I can give is to make a backup of something that you consider to be stable for you and then if you hit an nightly that breaks something that you need then you can go back to your backup.
Today's build should be daily driver (as was yesterday's).
Thanks!
The new theme chooser got merged into last night's build but appears to be broken for us.
Thanks for your work. Unfortunately I own SM-T325. Is there any chance of porting it to this device? I would love to see CM on this device with maintaned 4G and GSM support. If it is needed I can provide you a copy of source codes for this device (samsung servers are unbelievably slow, I was downloading it more than one hour). Thank you.

Solution for no working Play Store, “No Connection”
1. Check that date and time is correct set.
2. Insted of Gapps from OP use Slim Rom latest gapps or some of Paranoids latest gapps.
Above solution give me back connection to Play Store.

Unfortunately, it would be far to painful to try to get a working version of sm-t325 without having the device. It takes a huge amount of time to get a new device brought up (after that it's easy for new ROMs to get built). I can't image the time it would take using only remote testers to fix the kinks. And then after that, any bug that came up would be impossible to test.
I do this for fun and that sounds like it would stop being fun fast!

Thanks for your response. Is there any chance that you could point me to some guides, tutorials or advices on porting ROMs to different devices? I am no developer but I worked with linux and I could try to build something for SM-T325. I actually pulled CM sources from github and downloaded a kernel and platform sources and made some preparations but I don't know where to head from there. Thanks and have a nice day
Wifi Issue..
Love the ROM, great work cr... Only issue I have encountered is when rebooting, I have to reconnect to my wifi. Which requires entering the password as well.
Am I missing a setting?
Thanks for your hard work and dedication.
EDIT:
Is anyone else encountering wifi issues. My install forgets my ssid password when I reboot. It even struggled a bit to connect when I tested it again earlier... running the 510 nightly.
TIA

Kidding right?
Just wanted to post some things that I think will help others making the transition to CM12.
1. I had initial problems with 5GHz WiFi where it wouldn't connect. Switching to channel 48 on my router worked, but I didn't like it as a long-term solution. Luckily, I found that editing the nvram_net file located in system/etc/wifi solved the problem and I now can connect to my router using the 5GHz band set at channel 153. You have to change the ccode from GB to 0. Make sure you save the file after editing. I fear that the problem will return when the next build is released, but I at least know how to fix it.
2. Titanium Backup didn't work initially; updated the SUbinary with SuperSU and all was right in the world.
Hope this helps anyone encountering these same issues.

Hi @crpalmer, thank you very much for your hard work. Our beloved tablet is really somthing with CM12.
However don't you think it should be listed as a bug that wierd black dashes we see on apps recents tab?
For me this problem is still there, even with the last official nigthly. Or am I missing something?

I am not sure how many times I have wiped and reloaded CM12. Returned to factory load and wiped and tried other ways but GPS will not lock. I returned to CM 11 and GPS works fine... I am at a loss as to what the problem might be!
Help would be greatly appreciated.
CM12 is wonderful except for this problem which no one else seems to have.
Well no kernel messages?
Or maybe a stricter gps.conf on CM12? Tried using gps.conf from CM11?
Auto update engine (config, about, update) dont work for me...

I have no GPS either.
Installed today (from CM11 nightly) without wipe (as indicated on cyanogen wiki http://www.cyanogenmod.org/blog/the-l-is-for-lollipop) and everything else seems to be working fine. No reinstallation of any apps, and all app data carried forward perfectly.
Anyone any further thoughts on GPS?
I dont have root privileges anymore.do i have to root it again?

Wow, thanks ! It was a surprise that our tab was one of the first devices that took cm13 nightlies !
Wow. I remember when cm12 were first rolling out we were lucky enough to be one of the first to get it, now we're the first samsung device to get cm13 thanks to Christopher Palmer. You're the MAN!! :good:
Edit - enabling root in developers option but apps only get partial root. It seems like we're unable to write to system.
Initial bugs (cm-13.0-20151124-NIGHTLY-mondrianwifi - for who didn't see the other thread)
1. ExFat is currently broken so SDCards~64GB and larger (that use this filesystem) won't work
2. root (adb & apps) (can't mount /system rw with rootexplorer, esfilemanager ..etc) - not sure bug origins
I am currently using the Slim Gapps they don't crash, and are pretty stable.
Slim_zero_gapps.ALPHA.6.0.build.0.x-20151121.zip (current as of this post*)
Geekbench 3 score = 914 - 2597
AnTuTu v5.7.1 = Crashes on the Project Anarchy 3D test. (possible app bug)
AnTuTu v6.0 Beta2 (from their website) = 44773
So far the interface is smooth and lag free, for people who don't want to test or run into bugs I would wait until the stable build for the best experience .

Anyways great news that we are some of the first devices to get CM13 / Marshmallow, and great work crpalmer!

Am I doing something wrong or SD cards can't be set as internal storage yet? Anyway, thank you for your great work!

Can't be used from inside apps yet, either. For example, Plex or Google Music can't store synced media there... To be expected with such a new release.
Perormance, in the short time I used the tab last night, is night and day better than cm12.1 for me.

Will cm12.1 continue to get updates while this is getting sorted?

Only issue I've found so far is GoogleCamera 3.1 cannot initialize video recording, but the AOSP Camera can. Never seen that before.

I have the same problem on my Xperia Z3 running Marshmallow, so likely not a ROM issue.
I used Open Gapps (http://opengapps.org/).
I selected ARM, 6.0 Mini and they work great. The had tried the Micro version but they crashed constantly.
Just a quick suggestion - you should change the [5.1.x] in the title of this thread to read [6.0.x] to avoid confusion.

Noticed the issues like others on. The ROM not recognizing ext card. But also I can't install SuperSu? Anyone know if CM13 is on a systemless root?

First time ever I'm on the first CM nightly build for any of my devices <3
for the very first build it works not bad, no gapps or xposed tried yet though.
two things noticed:
wifi connection seems more unstable than on cm12.1.
antutu app crashes all the time when trying to run 3D benchmark. So currently cannot even get a full rating from antutu just yet.
This runs beautifully for me. Using Slim_zero_gapps.ALPHA.6.0.build.0.x-20151121.zip with no crashes. Only bugs I've run into:
1) after installing Google Now launcher, I had to reboot before it let me switch launchers. Works perfect after reboot
2) Google Camera 2.5.x crashes when processing a Lens Blur photo. Regular photos and video work fine.
Very few issues :good:
does not see the sd card.
How does improve?

Make sure you read the thread a bit before posting - it's only 2 pages (so far).
I'm betting your card is exFat, as reading the thread that is not compatible (yet).
It's also in the OP under "Known Issues"...
Some other bugs,
1. root cannot change the /system to rw mode for some reason (will try adb later), with toybox mount -o remount,rw /system, busybox mount -o remount,rw /system, mount -o remount,rw /system all get permission denied, I can however change the / partition to rw - ( I heard this is a feature in android M, but still not sure)
2. when you power off the tablet there is no battery icon
3. I don't think the battery gauge is accurate, looking at logcat I don't think it's reading the stats
4. brightness adjuster in notification pulldown is too large
5. wifi is iffy with hidden networks (won't automatically connect), and it drops off alot.

MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!

bug: MTP device not work
Thanks you
Quite smooth, MTP bugs and screen rotation bugs. The rotation doesn't always work and it gets fixed into place. Ex) Some how made my screen horizontal but it keeps being horizontal for a long time.
And normal Mokee lags are here but many custom roms have it so... I didn't test bluetooth yet. Someone would have already found out if it had bugs.
Edit: The fingerprint doesn't work
Nice ROM.

Mine's g906k and does it work for you normally in the settings? It keeps saying that the fingerprint is not set.
Hello. Thank you for bringing this rom to us. I am sure many will appreciate your hard work and persistence that it took to create this work. As it is in beta I have few things that I would like to report:
1) in my case fingerprint sensor is not working as well
2) the phone heats up at normal usage (no internet browsing) and eats up quite a lot of battery
3) wakelocks are present and there seems to be quite a lot of them at the moment. (much worst than stock mm 6.0)
On the flipside I am trying to adjust kernel settings, there are quite few due to it being custom. Any suggestions? At the moment everything seems to be working quite well. Time will tell.

My device G906K and working fine
Thank you ! :good::good::good::good::good:
Thanks for this! The only custom ROM I use for my G906K is Mokee. How is the camera? MK60.1 has the camera flash bug.
Just to give all of you guys a feedback on my findings after playing with the rom. Please do the clean install, I have noticed that installing on top of the old OS will cause Mokee to overheat and give plenty of wakelocks. Do the full system wipe. Lesson learnt here. Somebody asked about the camera.. it works fine, nice and snappy.
After reinstalling as a clean rom, the phone does not heat up, I have not noticed any wakelocks and everything is silky smooth. Just waiting for the Xposed framework to be compiled.
All the best.

Hey my friend,I have been struggling on the issue that I couldn't install the rom and splash screen loop. I have used different recoveries with newest base. Still,it doesn't work. Any solution please?
Hey, what helped me was to get:
1) latest MM firmware for your phone.
2) Flash it through ODIN. That will remove recovery, so you need to install the one corresponding to MM for your phone.
3) once that is done, you have required MM baseband.
4) put mokee on your SD card.
5) go to recovery, full wipe, format etc.
6) flash mokee
7) wait until its done.

yeah thx for ur information. Is that the reason why i cannot flash because of my baseband is the latest one?I flashed G906KKTU1CPL1 for G906K which was released on 3/1/17.
For those who successfully flashed the rom. May you tell me which recovery and base you used?
Thank you so much~~~

Installation Instructions
You must be on 010 ColorOs firmware to use this rom. If you are on a newer version of ColorOs and hvae problems with things like wifi you can flash the firmware from that version with the zip file in the optional extas post (post#3)
1. You must unlock your bootloader using magictricks.zip supplied by @uberlaggydarwin.
2. You must have a custom recovery installed that allows SELinux. Get TWRP build for Oppo f1f from here.
3. Download the current Oppo f1f build from here.
4. Get Gapps from here.
5. Download the latest kernel update from here.
6. Fully wipe your device from TWRP Recovery. eg WIPE > SWIPE to Factory Reset.
7. Install Rom , Gapps and kernel update from TWRP Recovery then Wipe dalvic and cache then Reboot.

- @uberlaggydarwin Without all his work this would never be possible. So please thank him. The bootloader unlock and original kernel for this is all his work.

Screen off yes screen on no. I might do some screenshots at some stage but its just stock cm13, they all look the same. Its only a beta testing version, still a lot of real work to do on it before I worry about things like that.
Thank you! So this is the problem that I've had when I use the rom:
- Sometimes I cannot unlock the lock screen settings to reset the new screen lock.
- The Camera app sometimes will crash when I try to record.
- The battern drain is quite fast. (as you mentioned)
Other than these, I think the rom is really great.. :good:
Do we have to install old firmware to make wifi work?

Hey
Nice to see development taking place for our oppo f1. Thnx fr ur hard work
I just wanted to know if VOLTE working?
Thank you
Nice ROM , Thanks!
I found some problems :
-Camera
Crash when I switch from front camera to back camera and vice versa , crash too when I switch from photo mode to video mode and vice versa.
-Battery
Battery drains fast , and the charging time is becoming fast too
sorry for my bad english
Thanks so much you two for giving this's phone hope.
I was having the same problem with battery life. Maybe 2 hours from 100-0 then miniblu suggested. Turn off all the settings in display and lights that would drain power. Yesterday I got 12 hours out of it with lite usage . The battery expected life in setting isn't correct so don't trust the expected time (it drains to 80% in like 30 min then the rest can last another 12 hr on lite usage).
-little bugs I've noticed- camera app was a bit buggy first time I opened it up. (Reboot fixes it)
-when u leave to camera app what was left on the screen is your wallpaper for 2 seconds.
I can use this phone no problems everyday. I would recommend to anyone. Just make turn of any unessasary settings in screen off and it's prefect. I found nothing else wrong with this rom.
Thanks so much for this Minblu and uberlaggydarwin
This seems like the best place to ask:
Optus in Australia released a network locked version of the Oppo f1f with some startup/shutdown branding for a reduced cost. They also disabled the second SIM slot that this phone has in other countries.
My question is, could the ability to use the second SIM slot be activated by using a custom ROM such as this one, or is it more likely that Optus have crippled or possibly even removed the actual components from the handset?
Thanks, and thank you for the development effort you're putting in to this. I look forward to trying it out over the weekend.
Audio crackling sound
Thank you very much for the effort and time that you put in making this rom possible.
I have a question.. is anybody else experiencing audio problems when using headphones or earphones? There's like a crackling sound while I'm listening to music.
Yeah. Go into audiofx and turn down the bass or vitualizer until it doesn't make that noise anymore?

I've already tried it but it didn't work. There's still this annoying sound like static. I thought it was the phone so I reverted back to coloros but when I tried, the sound is back to normal so I'm guessing it must be a bug in the cm13 rom.

One last question please does VoLTE works with this rom?
Problems
-Camera crash and maybe not connected
-CPU always run full load (very bad problem)
-battery drain (because cpu full load always)
-more heat (because of cpu too )
-screen backlight always on when i turn off charging
-often Battery not +℅ when i turn on charging
-in choose manual network menu not show 4g signal for select
-cpu hotplug not support in cpu tuner apps
And everything is fine :good::good::good:
This rom better than project spectrum because can boot in to twrp recovery
I hope you will fix all problems
And port rom to cm14-14.1 soon

It's to do with the digital mixers distorting the sound as it boosts it. In system/etc/ there is a file called mixer_paths_mtp.xml, where you can edit volumes through the speakers and headphones. A quick fiddle around with RX values makes it slightly better, but it's still there.
