Best Rom For Note 5 smooth and bug free ? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

anyone knows a good smooth laggy less bug free rom for my tmobile note 5 running latest build version?

Comes down to your own preference, I've tried both TekHD and Darthstalker and I'm stuck on Darthstalker as my DD.

TekHD

Tek's

Locos runs great. Not a fan of Tek's status bar, but his Roms are solid.

Teks for sure and if you don't like the status bar set up you can always change to stock or few other different ways just read the op

I have found Tek to be better with battery and overall stability.

As mentioned, TEKHD even includes the file to convert the Status bar back to stock (Virgin). I also have the files available to go to either the Stock Virgin status bar or just remove the Home and Power buttons and all other special features of the rom work perfectly with my versions.
Here is the link if you want to give it a try again without the default status bar.

Power Control for Froyo Status Bar

First of all:
-No, I won't install CM7 or some other GB Rom just for the power controls in status bar, I want to go for a Sense Froyo Rom
-Yes I have done a lot of research and came up with nothing but more nonsense.
My question is simple: Can there be a Pull-down status bar with power control options for a Sense UI based Froyo rom ( like DK carbon which I find to be very fast )?
And don't tell me there can't be one, because LG optimus one has power control in its status bar and it is running ANdroid Froyo.
Thank you

I could Take a look at that (no promises)
have a look at my notificationToggle app: https://market.android.com/details?id=de.j4velin.notificationToggle
hope it includes all toggles you're searching for
Close to the real deal, but not what I want.
I am curious though. How can LG O1 have the power control in it's status bar by default, even though its running froyo?

It also comes with the awesome feature of not requiring root!

But this includes almost identical functionality to the official wp7 status bar

Well unfortunately not everyone is/ can be rooted and even fewer people can run custom ROMs. Also, I have yet to see a custom ROM that has the drop down effect or the ability to choose absolutely any color for the icons because in my application StatusBar+ all icons are drawn in code, there are no images. Its far from perfect, but hopefully if I can get more people to download it and report bugs I'll be able to some of its issues.

I think its less responsive.

The free version is on version alpha zero, while the full is on alpha two. There are a number of improvements in between. For now StatusBar+ Lite will remain a few versions behind the full, so if possible you should consider purchasing the full. Otherwise the Lite version will get updated, just slower and without the settings the full has.
I found both versions quite snappy

[Q] SIII ROM suggestions.

Pretty straightforward question. I really only care about a few things in a ROM. Can anyone recommend something?
1) BAMF has tethering set up to where it uses the built in toggle and no extra software is required. I forgot what that feature is called but I really liked it and would like to get it on my SIII.
2) Great radios. Do not have to be "latest" just the best as far as maintaining data connectivity.
3) Would be nice to be able to adjust the resolution as this 4 column thing is killing me. I'd like at least 5 columns, without a launcher..
Thanks all.
I would recommend Synergy personally, the only criteria it doesn't meet is the built in wifi but the tether app they throw in is awesome, plus the battery life is amazing!

1. All I know if that most of the ROMs will list if they support tethering, now from what I understand most of them have built in toggles. For instance ParanoidAndroid, what I'm currently running, has one that you can add to your status bar for USB tethering and wireless tethering, they're really nice looking toggles too. Most if not all AOSP ROMs have this and I think some TW ROMs do too but I'm not sure since I haven't ran any TW ROMs in a long long time.
2. As for radios..... They all work differently on different GS3's, for instance mine runs great on HE and I5 but on my fiancée's phone J1 and K1 work great. When J1 and K1 are on my phone I constantly drop service, we live in the same house so it isn't a location issue, it's just our phones being a little different even though they are the same phone with the same components. Its kinda like some people can OC to 2.1Ghz with full stability and some can't go over 1.7 .
3. Most ROMs have adjustable columns built in , and if they don't have it built in they have a flashable mod to give them different sized columns. Cleanrom 4.5 comes stock and has a flashable zip to add 5x6 columns. Cleanrom Lite Edition 4.0 comes with the 5x6 columns built it. ParanoidAndroid has it built in where you can change it from 4x4 to 3x7 or anywhere in between. You could have 7x7 in PA if you wanted.
Edit:
P.S.
don't forget to flash the radios corresponding rpm

Installed a few builds of PA and I keep getting stuck at the boot logo. It's not boot looping. Just sits at the PA logo animation like its about to post and after about 20 min I pull the battery and use Odin to get back to stock.
The only issue I can see is that maybe I'm not coming from the right version to PA?

Mod Request: Close all Apps

The Multi power reboot menu mod for the Stock N5 image is fantastic. There's one other tiny mod that I sorely miss from Shiny on my GNex:
"Kill All Recent Apps Mod - Places a small button in the bottom left corner of the Recent Apps screen that allows you to remove all of your recent apps from the list with a single tap."
I've seen someone else mention some ROM that has such a feature . . . but part of my joy in owning a Nexus is running a very-nearly-stock version of Android, with a couple of minor tweaks or mods to add or change things I want.
I'd be very grateful if someone whipped up a version of this mod for Stock N5s.
This would indeed be a very awesome mod, second vote!
Yes, they have this option for notifications, why not in recent apps? CM does have this.
+3
If you run cataclysm ROM it has this feature. It pretty much is stock ROM with a bunch of needed/useful options. I've been running build "Nov 20, 2013 Stable" as my daily and no real issues yet. Definitely worth checking out.

I would love this on stock. My stock room runs smoother than the cataclysm rom. Scrolling is slightly better. So does anybody have a flashable zip?

Or wait for xposed and gravity box
I agree, I really want to keep stock rooted on my N5 with add on mods. If any developer can throw one of these out, that would be like O M G; T Y!?
that option is included in most custom roms
Current/updated Gravity Box has it; not all GB features work, but some do.
See top right.
Well, it's still halfway into the status bar, but it can still be used somewhat.
GravityBox does this. Works great.

[Q] PIE or Custom Navbar Buttons?

Hey there,
i excessivly use custom navbar buttons (e.g. Chrome with Chrome Icon), but my current ROM BlissPop 2.0 got Lockscreen Lag, which I can't fix. And newer Versions of the ROM discontinued the extreme customizable Navbar Settings with the for me useless CM Navbar Settings.
I searched and searched, but no ROM seems to have the "old" Navbar Settings, where you can add what you want to it and change the Icon.
Now my ROM keeps lagging even more and I am searching for an alternative, maybe with customizable PIE controls. But not even the new ROMs seem to still have PIE Controls :/
Does anybody have a ROM suggestion for me ? Could also be an older Version (but available)...

Actually the best way to find out is to try for yourself for a few days. You just make a titanium backup of your apps. Then start flashing. Try every other roms and you would be surprised actually. I even tried the ROMS I never heard before but they were worth it actually.
Like Validus has awesome battery life and I have become a fan of it with its smoothness and tweaks. I would have never known if i have never tried it.
Also after every few days, redo your titanium backup of your apps like whatsapp and other messaging/notes app if they are not synced online.
Quote me in case you expect a reply!
