As of 6.0.1 you can't edit it..... on the n5

any one know how i can change the settings in paranoid rom i mean changing it from " tablet UI " to stock UI ..?
cause i find it not useful , i want the stock settings UI and the customized app UI

I tried to remove my provider text from lock screen and status bar with this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15895403#post15895403
It worked on my Galaxy S2 and Android 4.3 fine but doesn't work with Nexus 5 and Cyanogenmod.
Any ideas how to modify or remove my provider text?

That shouldn't be the case with the Nexus 5. I thought that was a custom ROM (carrier branding) thing rather than a SIM thing which AT&T and others did?
If I'm not mistaken, CyanogenMod has never had this feature.

Download and install XPosed Installer ... Download and install Wanam Xposed ... And you will get your own text everywhere...:thumbup:

Your post reminded me that I wanted to do this.
Download THIS:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
then Install this module:
http://repo.xposed.info/module/ind.fem.black.xposed.mods
It has the option you want. Just reboot after changing your text.

This did not work. The old Wanam has the option in it, but its old and for samsung devices. It throws device warnings. The new Wanam does too, but at least it warns me to use my device. Kicker is the new module has no carrier logo swapping in it yet.

hello i have been working on porting listview settings from verizon touchwiz roms to our touchwiz roms,i decompiled setting.apk i found a line where there is listview=false and tabview= true so i inverted the one and tried in my phone but still doesnt work, if anyone with better skill can help me will be great

oops, sorry i misunderstood it ...
But try the galaxy s5 setting panel in theme section, it's not traditional way of list view, but it is somehow, a. List view

Running MOAR and it has been taken out. If you don't want to flash a custom ROM then I think the only way is to run the Good Lock ui.

go into gt tools click on dm omadm editor scroll down to subscriber id and change it to whatever you want. click save,your done lock screen and home screen.done. hit thanks if this helped...... you can also enable hotspot. I'm running mm 6.0.1 and it works.....
Hello people. I have an idea. The s7 edge call feature (lightning) default color is green. I tried to change it to blue. It may not be because I can not try it. I've modified this: com.samsung.android.app.cocktailbarservice_3.2.25.3-322505003.apk. This is the Settings / Display / Edge panel. But I have no root. So I can not test it. If there is a root, it is easier to test. Someone try it, it works this?

There is already a port of note8 edge light where u can choose what colors u want..or can use the colors of the app or use the color of the theme or wallpaper u have on the desktop. S7 edge default is based on the color of the desktop wallpaper or theme!

The problem is it's a flash able zip.. if u know that u can pull and put another apk with adb in system.apps I could give u the APK.. but if not ..there is no other solution.. try clear data for app and change the wallpaper

Why dont u update edge lighting. Samsung released an update which allows you to change edge lighting color.

Could you please send me a link to the file you mention? I searched the forum but can't find any note8 port that lets me play with the edge lighting :/
