The touchscreen function on my Gear 2 suddenly stopped working. I can not change the screen. I have rebooted watch and my Galaxy S5 phone. No change. Help.....

if this is an software issue try reinstalling the rom

Hey guys its been all wrecked .I have a galaxy s4 GT-19500 which is rooted .I was trying to open up some glitches then i switched my phone off .After I did that i tried to restart the phone and suddenly as normally it showed SAMSUNG GALAXY S$ GT-19500 and after that it's screen went all black.It still opens apps, songs, games ,etc. makes sounds but does not display anything .PLEASE HELP ME TO GET OUT OF THIS!!!
Any know how to get the gear 2 to display the correct time. Every watch face i download is stuck at the default time. I resetted the watch and phone and problem still persists.

I was one of the unfortunate people that lucked out on the newer Gear VR promotion.
I have the last model Gear VR from 2016 .. to most part, it does work with my Samsung Galaxy S8+ .. tight fit .. but for the life of me, I can not seem to get any audio out of my phone when it's connected !
I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled .. no matter what I do, with the SGS8+ and 2016 Gear VR .. no audio !
Any one ran into this issue ?
I had to go into the settings once inside the VR main page and turn the volume up.

So the Volume buttons on the Gear VR do not function with the SGS8+ ! .. I'll give that a try later (at work right now :silly: )

as you mentioned it's tight.. might be the volume keys are pressed..
try to disable the hardware keys using the Package Disabler pro (premium) and check it..
even the latest Gear VR is a tight fit, sometimes i can see the volume bar showing in the VR display without touching anything the in the GearVR.
What I've found is that regardless of my turning on the volume in one session of using the VR glasses, the next session mutes it again when I use the VR application/glasses. You have to go in and turn it up manually AFTER you have the glasses on and through the VR application using the remote.

I've just bought a Samsung Galaxy A8 2018, I have a problem with the touch screen
Some times I need to click an icon 4 times to open the application, other times with a newsfeed like Facebook for example everything I touch opens in an unpleasant way
I do not understand why the screen may be over-sensitive and sub-sensitive in the same time!
Is it just a matter of habit? Or the phone has a fault or it has a bad configurations?
changing pointer speed doesn't change any thing

I have the same problem. Sometimes i must click 3 or 4 times over the screen to open an app or over the numbers.
I did nothing and the problem is resolved, was it a kind of software problem? I don't know ...

My A5 and A8 both do this (neither have protectors), must be a Samsung feature
Find my phone is not working when screen is off. All permissions are on for the wear and Samsung plugin app. My phone is Poco F3. Should it be a Samsung phone to work properly or the screen off causes the app to stop working?
On Xiaomi Mi 11 "find my phone" only works when Galaxy Wearable app is open on Smartphone (and screen is lit).
Thank you for your answer. I have addressed the problem though by giving lock screen permissions to the Samsung galaxy plug-in app. See attached photo. Now everything is working fine. And I'm very happy about it
Wow, I removed all energy saving and gave all permissions to galaxy wearable and watch4 plugin and indeed now it works. Thanks for the tip!

I am so glad man believe me. Watch works like a charm but all these little things not working properly drive me crazy some times
