Purple tint on front camera in low light - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

I seem to be getting bad purple tint on black objects in low light situations. It's driving me nuts here's 3 different pictures with different amounts of light. At different angles. These pictures are worst case scenario . My s6 does not exhibit this purple tint what so ever so I'm not sure if it's a software thing or a bad camera
Forum is not letting me post links I'll add them after 10 posts

Purple veil in photos (mostly outside)

Hello all,
since a couple of days i own a HTC One X and i really like it.
What i noticed when using the camera, when i am outside i always get a purple veil, when changing the AWB it gets green.

Now i want to know, has anyone else experienced this? (i have seen lots of pictures with this purple veil even from professional testers)
Is this generally on the HOX or is it a failure in a couple of models?
I read "purple vein" and had to come in here to look.
I was expecting something else...
This is what happens when bright light shines onto the camera lens.
Worsened when the camera sensor is overloaded with light.
It happens on any camera but it's pretty bad on this camera.
Try to block bright light sources with your hand, or better yet, avoid shooting into the light.

[Q] Pink hue in middle of camera normal?

Hi, with my Galaxy S6, I notice that under a white or grey background under certain lighting conditions, I get a faint pink hue.
It produces something like this: www <dot> ibtimes.co.uk/xperia-z3-z3-compact-pink-blotch-camera-bug-reported-reddit-online-forums-1472100
Though most of the time it's nowhere as severe.
Is anyone getting such issues as well, and is this 'normal'? Under most conditions photos turn out okay though.

Strange black line on camera

Hello,
I have recently purchased an S6 and am loving it so far how ever last night I noticed that a black line appears on the camera when shooting in low light against darker backgrounds. I have been a little worried about it and just can't seem to figure out what it is. The camera functions perfectly in normal light. This issue only occurs on the back camera, the front camera is fine.
You can see the line especially well when a filter is added. I can't attach pictures because im new but I can message them to you if you wish to see!
Does anyone know what is causing this and should I be concerned?
Thank you in advance.

Camera Banding in Low Light

I just tried out the camera on my new Moto Turbo. I've previously used it under normal outdoor and home lighting, without problem.
But I'm getting banding in low lighting condition.
Banding is easily visible on light background. Also the camera is taking too much noise/ white grains in the left corner of the screen in low light.
Is this issue common with this phone ?
Yes this noise issue is common in most motorola phones. 21mp is just specs. Reality is very different. The photos are good mostly when used flash

The noise issue is understandable... But the banding issue is driving me crazy. I can see light grey lines running on my screen in some lighting condition. Even this is common ?

Yeah, I got some purpling too on the viewfinder in low light situations. And the resulting photo is purplish where it should be black. I tried a different gcam, twichaya and loaded the twichaya2.xml and that took better pictures with no purpling.

i see , so it is software related then , because i have the exact same thing as you said, i was curious if it could be hardware related , i'll see if i can find that gcam
