Hi,
Looks like you formatted your card as a HD under Linux... Best get back to a *nix-machine and format it again from there, but in FAT this time.

Hi, Thank for using XDA assist
There is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can try to ask to get expert's help.
Good luck.
After copying and moving files, my sdcard suddenly vanishes and my phone cannot able to detect the sdcard. I tried to unmount the sdcard and mount it again, my phone displays that the sdcard is blank. When I rebooted my phone, the problem is fixed, but when I use again my memory card, the problem persist and my phone cannot detect again my sdcard. This continues everytime I use my sdcard.
Please help me how to fix this.

this sd card 8gb is not mine it was to my friend brother(it won't be detected by his phone) and he just gave it to me and here i am trying to repair it (so i know nothing about this sd card )
all i know is that it's detected by my computer and it work fine but isn't detected at ll if mounted in any android phone (tried on lg k10 2017 and samsung s5) i don't think it's dead since it work fine on pc
here's what i tried to repair it :
windows fat32 format
hdd low format tool
chkdsk (show no error)
EaseUS Partition Master (format and check partition)
thanks again

In your post, you mentioned FAT32 which is clearly not "FAT" (FAT16 if you want).

it's an 8gb sd card and from what i've read on internet it's impossible to format it to FAT16
and i don't have the option to format it to FAT in windows format utility i can only format it to NTFS-FAT32-exFAT

Right, my bad!
Well, maybe it's an hardware issue with the SD Card. If it doesn't get detected by any phone but in PC, I don't have an explanation to that.
Let's wait and see if someone else has another idea.

In case of multiple partitions, EaseUS software would have shown you all of them.

I had this problem a few years ago with my Samsung tab 3 and the solution that worked for me was formatting your micro SD card inside your phone, this automatically formats it to FAT 32. See if that works.
Also did you try another android device besides your current one
