I have a document reader project in android. Main Activity includes a WebView. The texts are reading from html. In Top Options menu includes a button for increasing text size dynamically (text are wrapping). So far so clear but when the button pressed, the text size is some increases but all text are shifting down in screen and twice wehen pressing the button, the text size increases and all text shifting down a little more again. This situation is really happening frustrating for readers. The reader must go back to where it left off after pressing the button so the reader should not lose reading location. How to solve this problem?

I have an issue typing. When I press the SPACE key sometimes it does a double, triple at times 4 spaces instead of one. Letters are not a problem, they work fine, no lag, everythings sweet. But the space key seems to sensative. Im mean the keyboard not the touch screen. I like to use the keyboard but its annoying when sending txt messages I have a tone of spaces to edit at the end of it.
You can try powering device off.
Slide out keyboard & press the space bar down & rock it using a circular motion.
Do this several times using increasing pressure levels & test at intervals to see if you are improving it !

I'm new to the android world, so I actually did learn a thing or two from your post. So thanks OP.
So I found the way to change the size of the text message on the screen by going into your main text message page, clicking the menu button, selecting settings, and then checking the "use the volume key" to change the text size. The issue I continue to run into is that when I shrink the text size down to where I want it, then I move out from that text message box and text others, going back into the person I shrunk the text message size down on, it is back to its original size. Is there a way to save the setting so I dont have to keep changing the size each time I go in and text?
No one is experiencing the same issues?
How can I change this? It seems system-wide.
Note: I would generically call this "text editing" but NOT as defined by common tech circles.
When revising texts, emails or posts I need to move a cursor to a single character. This can be easy or it can be downright impossible. At least in text messaging, I can increase the font size with the Volume Up bar--YES!
The Select All/Copy (etc) toolbar can be invoked 75% of the time. Out of those successes, It took multiple attempts at least half the time.
The convention to selecting long sections of text is, drag the lower selector to the bottom of the screen, hold, and the copy automatically scrolls (sometimes slow, sometimes lightning fast). Since Lollipop I can't figure out how to do this.
Sometimes I get a notice that "X has been copied to the clipboard" and sometimes not. Sometimes I've copied but can't Paste! Saving an image from browsers into the Gallery is sometimes easy (long press) and sometimes elaborate.
Does anybody know how we could force the stock android email client to show as much buttons (but especially the "Archive" button) on the top bar next to the "Trash" and the "Read" button?
It has more than enough space there, so no need to hide actions behind the 3dot menu.
It briefly shows up when opening a new email from the notification area, together with the create email big round button on the lower right, but it will disappear after a few milliseconds to hide in the 3dot menu. I tried to play around with DPI settings, but no luck.
Why is the app behaving in this apparently stupid way?
