Sim Card after flashing not detected

Hello people,
I've got a problem:
I've bought a Newman N2. Unfortunately I've updated the stock rom - and now I've got no more detection of my Sim card.
It has Firmware Newman_N2_00.22 - IMEI is also correct.
My Sim card works in another handy correct.
I don't know what to do - I've searched already here, but it didn't help me what I found.
Could it be something with the EFS Filesystem? Can I restore it somehow whitouth flashing?
I can't install the CWM. Didn't work for me. The fastboot doesn't work for some reason
Thanks in advance for your help!
There was an info on the newman forums about you must flash the phone without sim.
What if you try it with wipe before flash, and reflash then?
Didn't read that unfortunately... What can I do now?
Try to install the 00.20 FW, but wipe data, and wipe cache before it. And ofc without the SIM.
After it you can isntall the 00.22 FW. It is the latest.
00.20 http://pan.baidu.com/share/link?shareid=188071&uk=1143976775
00.22 http://pan.baidu.com/share/link?shareid=190980&uk=1143976775
Any luck? I found something. To go back to the stock FW you need to flash it via Windows.
"Warning: People who have the first Version of the Firmware ( Date 2012.12.13 ), they should first update to second version ( Date 2012.12.15 ) and then they can update to the last version ( Date 2013.01.12). Because you can get some problems with SIM."
Unfortunately only 32bit drivers included.

I read this too, was because of me this topic
I sent it to a friend, who will flash it with his box.
Finally flashed it to the basic firmware.
Also tried several other firmwares, resetting IMEI - also different sim cards.
We guess the SIM Slot should be broken. Does anybody know if we can order just the SIM Module Slot? Or it would be just the whole mainboard?

[Q] FIDO Razr HD LTE problems!

Hello all -
New to Android platform. Hope someone from this great forum can assist ... I'll try to be brief. First, my device:
Razr HD LTE xt925
FIDO
Android v.4.1.2
Had attempted a little while ago to unroot my phone, as I was curious about better customization options. For various reasons, I tried to 're-root' and go back to factory. Did that, upgraded from ICS Jellybean 4.1.2 (which is what my phone was on when purchased).
Now, when I boot the phone, I still get the message 'Bootloader is unlocked'. After upgrading from ICS to Jellybean, I saw a large number of Verizon specific apps. When booting the phone, instead of the Motorolla 'M' icon/splash, I get a 'Droid' icon, with sound-effects. Also, System Version shows as 9.16.XT926.Verizone.en.US (even though my phone is an XT925 on FIDO). I obviously fudged something up... !
Most importantly, ever since, my GPS is very spotty, and I cannot get on the FIDO LTE network. In Mobile Networks setting, I have to always have 'Global' selected as network. If I choose LTE/CDMA or GSM/UMTS, it can never find an available network.
I'm really just trying to get my phone back to the state is was when I purchased it.
Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!

Here's the JB file for Fido/Rogers:
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/van...12.2_CANADA_VANQJBLTEFRCI_P004_CFC_fb.xml.zip
Thanks very much for your reply. I did try flashing with the FIDO file you quoted, and my phone didn't take it. I booted to fastboot, current drivers, and the RSD Lite message I got was:
Failed flashing process. 1/21 flash partition "partition_signed" -> Phone returned FAIL
The corresponding message on my phone was: Failed flashing process. 1/21 flash partition "partition_signed" -> Phone returned FAIL
Hope someone has an idea on how to successfully get back to the FIDO Android v.4.1.2.
Thank you all!
Have you removed the Getvar lines? You can also try the Telcel rom with Fido modem/fsg files placed into it. (That's what I had before custom roms because Fido was slow with JB).
Yes, I did try when removing getvar line in the xml.
I stated erroneously the error on my phone after trying the intitial FIDO flash - the phone error in fact was:
downgraded security version
update gpt_main version failed
preflash validation failed for GPT
I appreciate the input. Any other thoughts on this? I regret trying to unroot the damned thing in the first place... !

From what I can see, those errors come when trying to downgrade to ICS through RSD but you are trying to install JB so that makes no sense. Since you are bootloader unlocked you can probably flash the files through fastboot?
no worries man...calm down...you'll be fine...i had the same issue..i'm actually using an xt925 as well; had the same issue a couple of days back...see the issue is the ROMs that you see for xt925/926 is actually the ROM for verizon, so when you flashed a custom ROM, it actually flashed your GSM radio to the version radio, which is CDMA; These are the steps you need to follow, and you're good to go, trust me:
1). After deleting the getvar line, delete 2 lines below it as well, so lines 12 and 13, then try flashing with this new xml file. really imp, this will take about 5-10 mins, then the phone will reboot, dont unplug the cable yet, it's gonna reboot, and ask to sync phone with SIM, do that....and you're good to go.
2). Root.
3). Install TWRP, preferably 2.5, then backup your stockROM.
4). I would recommend using Matt's utility for xt926, and you can perform all the steps in sequence.
note: Since you unlocked your bootloader, you will always get that warning message, it's normal.
lemme know if it works!
eomahos I am in your debt. Worked like a charm!
In step 4 you indicated using 'Matt's utility for xt926' ... I'm not familiar with the utility. Do I use this to install TWRP?
Thanks again man!

:( Moto G Australia Version Kitkat failure

Bad news!!
I was so eager to update to Kitkat for my Australian Version Moto G, then I forgot to backup my stock rom before flashing the CM11~ Following the instruction, I have flashed the Modem for 4.4.2 as well. However, The SIM card cannot get reception, and while searching for the operator, it popped out that "your sim card does not allow a connection to this network".
When I am trying to flash back the 4.3 modem back to my device, it said that "this is for xt1033, and this device is xt1032"。。。
Is there anyway that I can get back????
Looking for help......

decompress this and run the flash-all script in fastboot.
Blur_Version.14.85.4.falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.en.03
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/download.php?device=14&file=796
will return you to total stock. then you should be able to OTA update to kitkat as well as it was just released for the XT1033

Check failed

I got this e3 that i flashed 3 different stock roms, and i can't get sim card to work on any of them. With or without sim installed i get a failed check picture and i can't use sim, tho other things work just fine. I have tried a central european rom, a rom made for my counrty, but im not sure weather the sim card is from that operator the rom is made for.
I took the phone form a frined to try and fix it since it was stuck in boot loop, so i've handled that and i'm not sure how to fix this :crying:
The roms we apropriate for the model, d2203, used the both latest one and the one before.
Did you resolve this?
I found that if you run flashtool on pro mode it will allow flashing of simlock.
I don't know exactly what's that but I hope it (and google) helps you

Is there a reliable and working guide to downgrade the U12+ to Oreo

Hello all,
after almost 2 months handling with the worst Android version all time, i would to like to downgrade to Oreo which was working better for my requirements and expectations, but i don't find any reliable guide to get on it.
I was trying to do my job using this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80192495&postcount=14 which is intended to rollback htc u11+ devices to a former Android version and using this file: 2Q55IMG_IMAGINE_DUGL_O80_SENSE10GP_HTC_Europe_1.21.401.3_Radio_sdm845-000191c-1806221012_release_526865_signed_2_4.zip, but, I'm stuck here at step 14:
C:\Android\com>htc_fastboot flash hosd hosd_signed.img
htc_fastboot v3.0.9.2 (2015-05-29)
target reported max download size of 1070400000 bytes

After reading a good troubleshooting found it here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76606118&postcount=4 i did realized that i was executing by mistake the flash command in download mode. After trying the flash command in bootloader mode the phone doesn't respond.

I think you was referring to Oreo right?
Find and download latest version of Oreo you need for your specific version of u12+
rename the zip in 2Q55IMG.zip
put the zip in sdcard
Reboot to download mode and let It flash
Done!

And i become the same error back, see picture.
My htc u12+ ist CID__034
But now that i'm reading the whole CID Info, i found this:
[rild.libpath]: [/vendor/lib64/libhtc_rilhook.so]
[ro.aa.cidlist]: [HTC__001,HTC__M27,HTC__034]
[ro.aa.customizationid]: [3072105]
[ro.aa.maincid]: [HTC__001]
[ro.aa.mainsku]: [401]
[ro.aa.modelid]: [2Q5520000]
[ro.aa.project]: [IMAGINE_UHL_P90_SENSE10GP_MR] --> SINGLE SIM???
I think that I'm feeling betrayed by o2. I#m gonnat contact then.
Is that really a single SIM?
yes you have a single sim, same as me and i am happier with the single sim.
i rather have expandable storage than two sim cards, i never use a second sim anyway
so
download this one
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410932744536986129
rename it to
2Q55IMG.zip
you put the file to your SD-card, much easier and faster than pushing it to the phone, like the dual sim guys have to do
be sure that you put the file in the root of the external memory, NOT in a folder
Now you turn your mobile off
Connect your cable to the phone, push the volume down key and than connect the cable to the pc
Now you are in bootloader mode, from there you use the volume keys to navigate to download mode
press power and you are allmost done
in download mode you will be asked to press volume up or down, to confirm the flash or to cancel
congratulations, you are back on oreo
good yob
It's all correct about it's a single SIM, but not the part about dual SIM, as i have One, that you Need to push etc, you can choose between using an sd card or a SIM in the second slot.

If you bought your U12+ directely from o2 Germany, you have a single SIM device. As far as I know, they never sold any dual SIM model of HTC phones.
In the o2 community, the o2 mods also stated that the U12+ sold by them was the single SIM model: https://hilfe.o2online.de/weitere-hersteller-28/htc-u12-dual-sim-229776 (sorry, only in German)
So finally i got the the misunderstanding with the phone provider clarify and i get a remuneration for it. Late at night i installed successfully the recommended RUU:
2Q55IMG_IMAGINE_UHL_O80_SENSE10GP_HTC_Europe_1.30.401.2_Radio_sdm845-000201b-1807311356_release_528110_signed_2_4.zip
thanks to karlanal for the recommendation, it was no many RUU options for SIM devices to download.

The way how htc solves the use of DUAL SIM card on htc u12+ was very poor and cheaper. The customer must decide between the usage from DUAL or a external card, which is neccesary, due to the short capacity in the own internal memory, that solution was not fair from HTC.

Yes i bought it directly from a O2 shop in the near, a newbie handle my case.
The reasons why i've donwgrade my phone:
* By Starting the phone, the host for SD card started delayed and the camera app changed the settings to save the pictures to the internal memory (with Oreo is that bug gone)
* Usefully widgets like the energie-dashboard worked defective (with Oreo is runable)
* Older HTC Apps were not runable
* Bad implementation of the connectivity with MirrorLink (no audio reproduction), i assume Google prefers to place their produt (Android Auto) at the first place and therefore maked the app unusable. (with Oreo is runable again)
I will like to thank everyone who gave me input to solve my issue.:good:
Error message 19 RU_MAIN_VER_FAIL os-version in android-info missing or i(nvalid)
Hi all,
does somebody know how to remedy this error?
19 RU_MAIN_VER_FAIL os-version in android-info missing or i(nvalid)
I have my device bootlooped after rooting, flashing LeeDroiD Pie and uninstalling some system app. I tried to flash 1.30 via SD card to get my HTC 12+ to work again. The RUU is from the Google spreadsheet.
In bootloader, it says OS 2.55.401.1, with getvar I got version-main 1.53.401.5.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Bee.
I like this post. Thank for the good tips.
