Have you tried this:
So, downgrade to anything not MIUI
Install ADW.Launcher and long press on the homescreen to make a custom shortcut
ADW -> Custom Shortcut -> Pick your Activity -> Activities -> com.android.hiddenmenu -> DATA(.DEBUGMENU)
Then switch the HDR/1x setting down to cdma only, exit the menu, wait
You should get connection is a few seconds (If you don't, check that you aren't home only in the roaming settings menu)
Go back in and switch to hybrid to get 3G data mode again.
Profit.

pull the battery and reboot, should fix it. That always happens at first flash in my experience and a battery pull has always fixed it.

Wrong subforum. Post this in the general section next time.
My bad for the wrong section post, I did a battery pull, I did several. Nothing helped. Odin'd back to stock, updated to current stock. I dont understand why it would still be having this issue, and I have run out of things to try.
Have you tried doing a prl update while on stock. *228.

[Q] WIFI notifications on Stock Rooted 4.1.1

I went back to stock and rooted. Do you have any idea how to get rid of the damn wifi ongoing notifications? Can't stand that crap. Its there when wifi is on, its there when wifi is off! The sqlite hack didn't work and Anycut doesn't have the shortcut needed based on the research I've done.
I still have the "wifi networks available" and the "wifi is off, tap to turn on wifi".

Not to be funny, but I honestly didn't know stock was up to JB yet. Guess I didn't give VZW enough credit.

Enable and disable rotation a couple of times in settings and you will get it back.

It's neither in the quick settings, nor in the proper settings menu
i guess there is no other way but backup and factory reset
You need to go to Accessibility > Auto-rotate screen and enable it, then the icon will be shown on quick setting.

Many thanks!

Screen Pinning on the Mate 9

Is the Screen Pinning feature shown in the video linked below anywhere to be found in the Mate 9's setting? I can't find it. I have the international model.
