[Q] Android Porting on Netbooks

I have a Fujitsu P1120 touchscreen netbook. I have been trying to dual boot android with the windows xp that is on there but have had no success. I cannot seem to figure out the right way to put android on the hard drive. It keeps coming up with a grub error for invalid filesystem. I have downloaded liveandroid, android 86x. The main problem that I have is that my device doesn't support booting from usb, booting from network, or any usb external drive. So the only way I can get it to work is to manually install android but I don't know how to do that.
Can anyone help me with this please?

I so happy now.. i found one dvd-rw usb work very fast in the my fujitsu...
Is liteOn Slim USB (have 2 usb) dvd-rw and the bios work..
To put it bluntly you're trying to get your netbooks to do something it isn't intended to do. Those thing are built with the absolute bare minimum to do pretty much nothing more than browse the web, hence "netbook". It's not a full PC. Even the newer ones don't run a full version of Windows 7. Short of knowing how to re-write a BIOS image or finding a modified one and flashing it, which has the risk of perma-bricking your computer.
Волк,
Sorry my bad english..I have a good computer, phone and tablet. However I like to modify my old electronics giving new life to them .... Now for example I'll replace the HDD Fujitsu Lifebook P1120 IDE for SSD and I'll put a PCMCIA card with internal memory to speed up Windows. I installed windows 7 and it is working. So I had to make a modification in winsetup.dll to install.
At the moment I install Android but I am having difficulties.

Connect to computer with Windows 7 x64

Hi guys,
I tried to find an answer to my problem under the forum "Touch Cruise Android Development". Unfortunately, I did not find any relevant thread.
Could you please let me know how can I connect my HTC Touch Cruise (Froyo 2.2) to my laptop on Win7 64 bits?
When I connect my phone to my PC, Win7 tries to download drivers for the device name "Android Phone", but it failed (No drivers found).
I tried to :
- Use HTC Sync (it's not design for Touch Cruise)
- Try to manually install HTC drivers 64 bits (downloaded from here)
I am looking forward to connect my P3650 to my laptop to be able to share internet using USB (wifi is not working yet).
Thanks for potential answers.
You can't share your pc connection with polaris using usb.
install android sdk and the drivers from android develop (use google)
Will it be possible later?
On WM6.5 it was possible to share internet in both way (from computer to phone // from phone to computer (ex: using 3G)).
i don't think so because there are some other major problems to fix before it
i am still looking for some ways to share internet to my computer, can any one help? thx a lot

external internet connection can be used in Phone on HTC HD 2 (cm 7 android 2.2.5)

can we use external internet connection for example in phone, as internet provider via USB caBle???
1st of all, their is no such thing as Android 2.2.5. Please edit your title. I think you mean Android 2.3.5 since CyanogenMod 7 is based on Gingerbread. The answer to your question is yes. Just get PDANet from the market: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.pn.helper&feature=search_result and get the pc application to work alongside with it: http://junefabrics.com/android/download.php . It's very easy to use so you should be able to take it from here.

[Q] Any chance to reanimate connect-to-Ad-Hoc-wifi-feature for ICS?

To use the internet connection from my pc I installed an ad-hoc-wifi-network on the pc.
But since ICS, Android is not even able to see ad-hoc-wifis. It worked with Android 3.x.
Is there any chance to reenable or develop this feature for Android 4.0?
That would be nice for adb-over-network and to save 3g-traffic.

Help: External Wifi-Adapter && SSH/VNC w/o Internet-Connection && Backup Rooted Device

Hallo Community,
I have three questions which are not related to each other but I did not want to create three (potentially not-so-interesting threads); my setup is a rooted Oneplus 7 (GM1900) with OxygenOS 10.0.11... I'm very new to Android but have some experience in various Linux distributions.
So, here are my questions:
Is there any way to connect an external wifi dongle (at the moment I have the following chipsets available: Ralink RT5572, RT3070 and RTL8187) via OTG to the device without having to apply heavy modifications to the phone? (I bricked it x times trying to install Nethunter, so I stopped this endeavour...); light modifications however are okay... and I would also be willing to buy another dongle if it works and supports monitor mode / packet injection...
Is there any way to use the phone to connect to my laptop (and of course control it) via SSH, VNC, whatever, when my Laptop is not connected to the internet? Any solution (cable, bluetooth...) would be okay; solutions which allow me to access my Laptop via GUI instead of CLI only would be preferred, as some applications that I plan on using unfortunately need to run with GUI...; the use case of which I'm thinking is having my laptop in my backpack and connecting to it via the phone while sitting e.g. in the train...
Is there any way to make a full backup of my rooted device (including apps installed etc.) that I can restore from an external source (cloud, usb, whatever) after I (once again) managed to hardbrick my phone? Of course after restoring the phone with the OP3T Unbrick Tool once again, rooting it and installing TWRP & Magisk...
Sorry if one or more of the questions are stupid but either I used google the wrong way, used the wrong words or just did not find the answers... so please, help me, and have a nice day -- stay healthy & safe!
