[Q] How to move/install apps to SD (so no internal storage space is used) - General Questions and Answers

Hi!
I would like to move some of my applications to SD, so I can free up internal storage space. I know, that if I move an app, some of the data will stay on the internal storage. Is there a way to move the WHOLE app (with every data), so no internal storage is used? I have read that Link2SD can do something like this, but some of the features are paid. Is there a way to do it for free.
Thanks, in case of reply.
I am using a Galaxy S2 (GT-i9100) with Cyanogenmod 13 6.0.1 if that matters.

[Q] moving applications to SD card

I just got my tab 7 plus. All is fine except for the ability to move applications to SD card. App2sd for example does not recognize the SD! Any solution?

i'm just curious. why would you want to move app to sd? there's already 16/32gb available on the internal storage.
Firstly curious. Secondly to reserve ram for system.

moving apps to sd doesn't affect RAM usage.

I don't think there has ever been a safe way to move apps to external SD.
On HC devices, /data and the internal /sdcard are actually just directories on the same partition - so moving from one to another does nothing.
So whats the point
Id like to know how to move apps to sd as well. If not for extra storage room, and ability to move apps to the sd, whats the point of having a micro sd port in the first place? I like moving apps to free up space on the internal drive, it fills up way too quickly.
For media storage, of course. the internal storage is insufficient for people, including me, who love to save tons of media files in their tablet.
I tried to do the same thing today on the P6210 and had little luck. I think it's habit for me to move apps to the sdcard because of my experience with phones, like my Pre, and then my Epic, which bogged down if I didn't move apps to the card.
My Epic has 485MB of internal storage. That's a lot less than 16GB! K.... I won't worry about moving apps as long as the media and files are on the SD card.

Unable to move apps to SDCard on Sprint GS3

I recently noticed that I cannot move any apps to my SDCard using App2SD. The normal option to move them is simply there. After some reading it seems this is true for all Samsung phones. I'm not sure why they removed this feature but I was wondering if there is a SuperUser app or a version of CyanogenMod which allows this.
Note: I realize that moving apps to external is not recommended because internal is faster.
However when some of my games take up to 1 GB it would be nice to send them to my 32GB external instead of completely fill up my internal 16GB. Currently I only have 4GB remaining internally.

[Q] Unable to store apps to internal storage

i have recently got Karbonn A15 phone (an India Company), which supports 2.5GB of internal storage, now the problem is, whenever i try to install app it does not stores the app in the internal storage, it stores in system space instead, which is 581MB only, now when i move the app to the SD Card it do moves the app to the internal storage but still it has some of the portion in system space.
Can anyone tell me how to store full app to the internal storage.
I am not asking for the external storage saving, but atleast it should totally utilize the internal storage, in this case, my internal storage will remain empty and my system space will get full..
Can anyone help me with this.

Internal Memory almost full

Nexus S has 1gb of internal memory for apps and other data required. You can also move apps to sd.
My problem is this one: I have only 177mb of internal memory left, and everytime i want to install something from Google Play says it`s not enough memory. I kept the most important apps for me ( ~80-100 apps), most of them moved to sdcard.
What can i do to free up some memory (except deleting other apps) ?
I heard something about creating another partition from sdcard(external-13gb) that phone will consider it`s also internal, but i did not find anything yet on this area.
Do you know anything about this ? Thanks.

[Q] What is using my internal memory?

I've made sure to use Link2SD and move a lot of my big apps to sdcard but I still only have like 35% free space in internal. If it isn't apps that are the problem, then what can it be? Is there any tool that can analyze what is taking up my internal space aside from the default storage part of Android?
Running Gingerbread 2.3.7, AtoMic ROM
