Hi,
I bought a non-market Samsung Galaxy Ace. The device is succesfully rooted now, but all the market.apk's i tried kept crashing.
I need a market.apk exported from a Galaxy Ace.
Any help appreciated, thanks a lot.
I'm sorry i need to bump the thread.
Im gonna try my luck once more
ok, i've tried several market .apk's but all the markets i've installed kept crashing. Even when try to install something on market.android.com, it displays the market crashing message failing to start download.
Any ideas how can I get market to work?
Is it because the phone is rooted?
edit: I unrooted the phone, nothing is changed.
I am having an issue where S Note will continually crashes since I have rooted my Note 10.1. I used the Odin method and everything else is working fine w/ the device. It will stop temporarily if I clear the cache for the app, but will start again soon after I open the app again. The only solution I have found to keep the crash from bogging down my device and having to continually clear the message is to freeze the app w/ Titanium. Any suggestions in case I actually want to use the S Note app?
Reflash original software and wait for an official update with Snote working.................
hello, i use a samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1.i knw just little about rooting thats why i never wanted to root my device untill i installed an app called rootmaster.i ever know dis app will root my device when installed,i just thought it will tell me more about rooting,so after the device was rooted i noticed that the device got frozen and restarted about five time before i could use it normaly but i ignored this sign.i then went on and used superuser and other apps such as ''fx file manager'' to access the system apps,i then replaced some of the system apps such as the map and play music with their updated versions,i never know i was causing more harm.i then restarted the device, after the samsung animation it gets stuck android is upgrading.......starting apps.i tried a factory reset, wipe cache but still unsuccessful, any help will be helpful.

I am using a Galaxy Note Lte (SHV-E160S) it was working slowly lately so decided to root it to improved it performance. After rooting i Installed an application called SYSTEM APPS REMOVER which help me remove some unwanted apps (like T-Store, S suggest and many other Korean apps) on my phone because i am not using them and they keep on using my data. After going through this process i decided to Factory Reset. Now comes the problem after successfully factory reset it. Went i got to the configuration of language stage the phone keep on freezing and the screen won't respond but the back and menu keys are all working perfectly. Guys i just wanted to ask is the anyway i can skip that stage or any help will be appreciated. Thank you

Hi , thank you for using XDA assist.
Looks like there is no forum specifically for your device. But you may try to post your question here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help to get the required help from the expert.
Good luck.
So, I got the great idea to try to install the Galaxy s6 launcher, but failed along the way. I rooted my phone using 'CF auto root', so far, so good. And then I downloaded the Galaxy s6 touchwiz launcher and replaced it with my default launcher (Galaxy s5, touchwizhome_k). After I restarded my phone it just looks like it's set to the simple mode even though it is not. I tried factory reseting it hopeing it would go back to normal, but I didn't. Anyone that knows how to fix it?
So this is what my phone currently looks like...

Hello,
You can push another launcher (Nova, adw, go etc) via adb and reboot your phone to normal.
