hello, please help me with my phone huawei g610 u20...recently i opened my games like summoners war and clash of clans..but it did not open..i had tried clearing cache, clear data, uninstalled, tried also master reset and factory reset many times but still didnt work..i also updated my google play store and play games..downloads are from play store are okay..but when i open games or apps..it still goes black and goes back to home screen..please help me...thanks in advance...
this page is for the G6-U10, its a different phone then yours.
but to fix such problems on Huawei you need to download the firmware for your phone from the huawei website (or somewhere else)
it comes in an update.zip or update.app, format your sd, place the update.zip or update.app on your sd like this:
SD:/dload/update.zip then reboot your phone, it should install the update, if not: goto settings > update > select local update.
if that doesn't work boot into recovery and select "update zip from sd"
if that doesn't work try the same steps but place your update on another location:
SD:/HwOUC/update.app .
I dont know if this works, but for many Huawei devices it works.

I rooted my phone a few months ago which has prevented me from receiving OTA update. Is it possible to update from B119SP01 to the H60-L02_EMUI3.0_Android4.4_5.2.1 using the EMUI update option on PC? I've looked through this entire forum and haven't seen anyone mention updating this way, it seems too simple, will I brick my phone if I do this?

root does not prevent receiving OTA.
Any method of update (OTA, Local, PC) will failed if you don't have stock recovery, local.prop and build.prop.
All information you need have been posted many times in here so you have to look better.

Thanks for your reply. You are right the information has been posted, but it is not particularly specific, especially for script-kiddies like me who don't really understand what's going on. For example your post
"How to install Stock ROM:
Warning: You need to have stock recovery, /system/build.prop and /data/cust/prop/local.prop.
DON'T forget to set permissions to rw-r--r-- (644) after you restore build.prop and local.prop.
Download and unzip to get "dload" folder with "UPDATE.APP" inside.
Put "dload" folder with "UPDATE.APP" inside, to root of your SD.
(you will NOT lose your data) Open "Updater" > "Menu" > "Local update".
or
(You will lose your data)Turn off your phone and activated by holding all three buttons (Vol-, Vol+, Power)."
1. Should the stock recovery be for the current build I have or the one I am upgrading to? Should I place the stock recovery in SD card or Internal card?
2. What does it mean to set permission to rw-r--r-- (644), do I do that on my computer?
3. " Open "Updater" > "Menu" > "Local update"." Where exactly do I do this? On the phone's Updates menu there is no option for "Local Update"
I know these are newb questions, and I really appreciate your help.

1. You need to read this thread too.
2. You root your phone but you dont understand this? Why you root it then? Googlle it.
3. Stock ROMs got that option, if you cant find it use local update from HiSuite is the same.
I ended up flashing back the stock recovery with the mini tool then doing a local update via hisuite then restored my data through a titanium backup. Thanks for your help.

How did u root the phone?, I can't root it :/
Hello,
So, I am a newbie in all these things. Have an Honor 6 (H60-L02), B317, Android 4.4.2 and EMUI 3.0. Tried to understand this http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/general/honor-6-stock-roms-t2963180, but so far not much success.
Q1: b532 or the latest available developer edition, hch one to download?
Q2: I bought my device rooted (or something like this: Chinese was changed to Russian). Now I checked the phone with Root Checker app, and it says "Root access is not properly installed on this device". Do I need to get rid of a root access or properly install it before updating phone to 5.1? Or it does not matter?
Q3: After downloading one of the stock roms from q1, hat are my actions? Is it enough to format SD-card, create "dload" folder there, unzip rom to it, and then to insert the card into the phone, launch "Update" app on the phone (the one with emui logo), choose "Local update" and wait? Or something else is required?
Is there any step-by-step manual for newbies like me? Something in a format of:
"1. download a rom
2. download a software version 1.x from this link.
3. launch the software
4. open rom in that software
etc."
It is hard to understand lots of termins and mentions of programs, but I am also tired of waiting for OTA-update, and none of the Huawei's emails answered. Their support sucks.

Okay, so I googled a bit more. Please, correct me, if I'm wrong:
1. install hisuite on pc, connect phone to pc
2. download the latest multitool, get rid of all traces of root, relock bootloader.
3. create "dload" folder on sd-card, put b317 rom in it.
4. apply 3buttons (+-power)
5. put b532 into dload folder on sd-card
6. launch it through "local update" phone app. wait till full reboot.
7. apply 3 buttons again
8. install gapps
Hi all, I need to update to Android 5 so I can run the App for my Blood glucose meter. Been a while since I did this sort of thing. I dowloaded the B308 Firmware here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-7/general/firmware-mt7-l09c900b317-android-t3191174 but it fails during load. I've no idea what to do now...any ideas?
You should download the appropriate firmware for your region, after unzipping the firmware file you will find a folder called "dload" (the folder contains a file called "UPLOAD.APP", that's the actual firmware).
Copy that folder into your internal phone memory.
Now in your phone go to settings->updater, search for "local update" or something like that. The phone will then detect the firmware and flash it.
But to be clear I'm not 100% sure about the steps above, I did it that way and worked fine for me.
I updated from kitkat 4.4 directly into marshmallow 6.0
I'm not sure what region my phone was originally. I bought it off Ebay in the UK The build number is MT7-L09V100R001C00B137 I tried the one in the link which seemed similar and applied it much as you state, except I didn't unzip the file as most instructions say to leave it as Zip. There are no Letters after the build number which I understand normally show the region.

I think there is two ways to update, one is "OTA" update in which you download a *.zip file and flash it through recovery, you need to be on a specific build (the number after the "b" letter) to flash a specific new build. I don't know if this method eraes the storage or not because I haven't tried it before. It's easier than flashing the complete firmware.
According to the link in your first post, download the B317 build and flash it in recovery.
The other method is to flash the whole new firmware, (which was the method I used to update my device). Because with this method you just flash a 2 Gb file which has everything.
If you want to flash the whole firmware, see below.
If you live in the UK download the European firmware. See this link:-
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-7/general/huawei-mt7-l09-l10-stock-firmware-ota-t3275784
In the link you can find the lollipop(5.1) and marshmallow(6.0) updates. Download the one you want, but of course the marshmallow(6.0) is the newer and better one.
Also there is "Full" and "OTA" versions of the update, download the "Full" not the "OTA". Also pay attention to the model number (Yours is MT-L09)
After downloading the file, put the "UPDATE.APP" file in the "dload" folder.
You can create that folder either on the SD Card or the phone's internal storage.
Now go to Settings->update and look for "local update" or something like that.
If you can't find that option then use the alternative method which is:- (power off the device, press the "volume down" + "volume up" + "power on" keys all on the same time, after you see the Huawei logo release the "power on" key and keep pressing the other two for 5 seconds or so).
But remember, this method of update will ERASE (delete) the phone's internal storage including apps, pictures, contacts...etc. So store a backup on your PC before updating.

Hi
It is not hard to do the update, and if you follow step by step it will nothing happen and nothing will crash
But since you want to update to Android Nougat 7 and want to have the EMUI 5 you can do it in two different way
First way and maybe very noob friendy and maybe the way to do it if you dont care about the latest possible Nougat 7
That would be in this way
Do it over the phone settings
Just do the given update to MM B131
And it will do the update to B131 and dont need to worry anything
After that one it should give you also an update over the phone settings to B360 wich is nougat android 7
BUT maybe it will give you just a newer version like B380 depanding on the region
For me it updated to B360
This way all you need to do is just check for updates in the phone settings and click on update the phone
After you do the update to Nougat android 7 and EMUI 5 it is recommended to do after that an factory reset
The factory reset you do also from the phone settings and it will wipe all of your data
So do a back up on your PC or on the SD card of your files
The apps you will have to reinstall from play store..
The second way I would recommend to you only if you care to have the very latest nougat wich is B381
If you want the latest like the B381 than you can save your self the trouble to update over the phone settings
Just do this
Download from this post there is an link given to mega uploads
Go to this post and download the latest B381
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72183284&postcount=46
When you have downloaded the latest firmware couse you want the very latest
Then extract the ZIP you have downloaded
You will get two ZIP files inside of the big one
Then create on the microSD card one folder with the name dload
Then do some more unzipping
First unzip the update.zip file and put it in the created dload folder on the SD card
You will have to put 3 files in that folder...
Look at the picture in the attachment how the files look like..
After you have moved the 3 files from update.zip to sd card
Dial this in you phone dialer
*#*#2846579#*#*
It will open one new window and than select firmware upgrade
Then select from sd card
It will ask you if you are sure than select yes and it will take few minutes like 6-7 minutes
And it will flash the first 3 files that you copied to the sd card..
The phone will restart from it self
Then delete all the files you have firstly moved to dload folder
Now when it is empty unzip the other full ota ZIP file
It will also give you 3 files like the first time
Like the first time move them to sd card to dload folder
Then again do the dial with the same process again
Select firmware upgrade
Then from SD card
Then select yes I am sure to install from the sd card
Now it will take less time to do the install
After you do this two installs you should do a factory reset
It usally help to fix some bugs wich can or dont have to be after a firmware update
But usally it is recommended to do it..
That would be that..
Just look the picture what files to have in the dload folder not to get confused
If this helps hit Thanks
If you unsure of something ask again
Will help again
thank you for that extensive answer.

But what about the unlocked bootloader, xposed, etc.? Can I just click update with a rooted device?
No. It won't work.
You'll have to flash the stock recovery.
And magisk and such won't work after.
The easiest way is to reflash stock recovery, do all the updates over OTA, and then re-root.
Hello guys!
Today i am going to show you how to root samsung galaxy A8(mentioned above) install twrp and then lastly install playstore on it without any troubles!
The problems i faced was so much critical and step by step i faced bugs and fixed them accordingly.
so we come to main topic now.
first of all reset your phone. thats because a frash phone is always perfect. btw non resetted phone also works here.
1) Now download the app in the link below called CROM_Service. open it and just wait it will unlock your bootloader.
2) Now u need drivers. download them also in the link and install on your windows 10 pc. Boot your phone in download mode by pressing home+volume down+power button. in chinese font screen press volume up and then connect you phone with pc using a fairly working usb 2.0 cable.
3) Now download CF_ROOT in the link below and and put in your worling folder better name that folder your phone name cause we always work in this folder. extract files in there. Now open Odin in that foler as admin and click AP and load the md5 file in same folder. and click start. this will flash root and restart device with a modified kernal.

Hello, I'm not sure whether this is the right place for my problem but I will give it a try. I have a problem with TWRP recovery on sm-a8000 Chinese version.
Every time I try to flash any zips it fails.
Error 70 failed to mount preload (invalid argument ) I can't do factory reset either in . I'm able to root the phone and the phone works normally except for the custom recovery.
I tried to do factory reset in original recovery and it worked.
My aim is to install Google play apps.
Here are some pictures of the recovery result. My internal memory is only 3Mb in the recovery but if I connect the phone to my computer it shows 10Gb free.
Any idea what's going on?
hey,did you hv any rom of that model (sm-A8000)?
