I tried upgrading my firmware, it went wrong somewhere. Now it is soft bricked, I downloaded an official Update.app from Huawei, extracted it flashed everything but sometimes when I flash it gives me a FAILED (remote: Command not allowed) it there anything that can be done? I DO NOT have TWRP installed, if there is a way for me to install it, one that actually works I've tried some that don't work, but I'm desperate. Thanks in advanced!

You didn't give any details of which firmware you were trying to upgrade and to which. What's your phone model ? L29 or AL10 and which region?
Your bootloader unlocked , we need more details to support you

Gotta find a factory img. Ugh. :'(
No.... My point was if you havent set to allow unlock when your os was alive, you wont have a chance to do it after brick. Also. Afaik you also wont be able to boot from sd. Hope i am wrong though.
Try the Unbrick option using Italian Knife. That saved me from a few soft bricks. Good luck.
Help. I have destroyed my device. I have installed EMUI 5.0. Then I installed twrp 3.1.1. Everything was fine. Then I have flashed a wrong supersu file. Now I only get into the fastboot mode and the "erecovery". The TWRP 3.1.1 I can not flash. It means i can flash it with adb, but the device always boots into the system. My smartphone hangs in the bootloop. (After Honor logo it restarts again and again) What can I do? How can a go back to stock? Or flash twrp without booting the system after flashing twrp? Hope someone can help me

Boot to erecovery, select the first option. It will download and install your stock firmware.

There is a way with ADB and fastboot. Download an appropriate firmware file for your mobile, then using Huawei Update Extractor, flash the image to their respective partitions.

That's great. Yes you can upgrade. No need to use a different TWRP and SuperSU. Just be sure to mount Vendor partition when flashing SuperSU.

Flash TWRP from HERE, then boot to recovery. You'll see an option there called Mount, click that and you'll see a checklist of mountable partitions. Just check on Vendor before you flash SuperSU.

Hi,
i tried some ROMS out, but since I couldn't get my banking apps to work I wanted to rollback to Stock ROM.
I"ve made a backup but I couldnt install it with restore in TWRP.
Now I basically bricked and I am missing 3 partitions. Is there a way to flash the partitions back? Could I can still acces TWRP and fastboot.
I thought that I could flash the boot.img from the stock backup via fastboot, but i dunno how to extract the boot.img
Anyway I can fix this?
Also pushing the dload files onto the sd might work, but I dunno how to acces the sd via twrp.

Hi, I have a FRD-L09C432. I wanted to try Oreo with the russian firmware, so I followed this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/rebranding-to-frd-l09c10-oreo-russian-t3815591
Something must have went wrong because it booted without setup nor GApps. I think the two data zips didn't flash correctly. They couldn't be dloaded because they don't have an update.app file.
I managed to install TWRP with MultiTool v8, and I tried to flash Gapps but the google account setup crashes. I tried to flash the two other zips, "update_data_full_public" flashed successfully (only a small error at the begining but I don't think it was important) and "update_full_FRD-L09_hw_ru" gave an error directly.
I rebooted to system and OEM unlock was disabled and greyed out ... I tried to factory reset in TWRP and now it won't boot, it's stuck on honor boot animation for minutes then reboot ...
I tried to reflash update.zip via TWRP but it gives an error. Also TWRP can't unmount system, I don't know if it's important.
I tried to use DC Unlocker (15€ credits) to unlock FRP but it didn't do anything ... I asked for a refund to try DC Phoenix.
I thought about flashing stock recovery via TWRP to factory reset properly but with FRP locked I'm worried to lose TWRP forever.
Now I don't know what to do. Is DC Phoenix a good solution? Which ROM must I flash? How do I rollback to Nougat? Is there any solution?
Thanks. I'm pretty lost actually :crying:
Ok I solved my problem by flashing C10B360 from TWRP and factory reset from stock recovery. If it can help someone!

Hi,I recently tried to install the most recent update (the update was for EMUI 9 I think) C675 on my V10 and it is now stuck in a bootloop.
