hello there, i have samsung galaxy S6 SMG920F with android version 5.0.2 and rooted with ping pong root, i changed my service from 3g to lte/4g and i changed the setting on my network mode to LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect)and the service provider told me that i dont have to change my APN which i was using for 3g and i am in the area with 4g coverage but i am seeing only h+ using 3g ,i saw other post in which you send your IMEI No. to the service provider but my service provider didnt ask me they just told me that it was probably that the phone dont support 4g. is there anyway i can fix this problem?
please any help is appreciated...

Have you subscribed to a 4g LTE package? Plus APN settings might need to be changed. Best course would be to call your provider and check

I am having issues with my samsung galaxy s3 i747m. This is a canadian model phone (Rogers). I am traveling so I rooted my phone and also unlocked the network. When I was in India, I was only getting 2G connection when I selected GSM/HSPA (auto) in mobile networks and was unable to connect to 3G. If I connect to HSPA only from mobile networks. I lose all my connections. I don't even receive network also. Right now I am in middle east and I am facing the same problem.
My phone has GSM, HSPA and LTE options to choose from mobile networks in settings.
Just wanted to let you know that I called the network carrier and they informed me that they have activated 3G services. It still didn't help. I tried different network sim and I am still getting 2G connection.
I changed the APN settings which is suggested by the network carrier and still I can only get 2G connection and unable to connect to 3G connection.
Some information about my phone:
Model number: SGH-i747M
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband version: i747MVLUFOB1
Please help me to solve this issue as 2G connection is extremely slow. I will really appreciate it.

Check your network, make sure your network supports the 4G bands they use and your area is covered.........................I'm supposed to have extremely good 4G where I live but rarely get it

Hi i have the strang issue.I have no lte in my phone.I have check in many places with another 4g phone an the s6 lock only in H+ and it rich 3-4mbit.
From lte discovery it sais LTE N/A.I have alreay try 2 roms from sammobile.

First you should never post your IMEI and second, if your having issues with LTE maybe consult your carriers APN settings, try another sim or contact seller
Same for me in France with S6 edge, i rarely have 4G LTE, but with my S7 edge and my Note Edge, i have it.
You probably have no LTE/4G in your area. Check to see if there is LTE/4G coverage in your area and get the courier providing
the problem is not the poor reception but that it seems that someting going on with settings or the antenna. if you see the attach it sais that there is no LTE configure on the device.I have allready spoken with samsung and i will take it there to have a look
