bout Texdus N5 rom - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

Hi there I just need some answer before I flash this awesome rom. In orther to root I understand the guide provided by TekHD but about super user is 2,.49 beta and I think there is newer version Should I use the newer one or the beta 2.49.Also I saw that rhere is a new version of the rom or I need to use an older version then update to the latest one. Other thing is about kernel which one is the correct for keep the rom stable ,the on is in the instalation guide or other stable kernel? Yeah this questions are made by a newbie guy I [email protected][email protected], i WILL APRECIATE AL THE SUPPORT you guys can give to me. Thanks I need to flash this ASAP It looks great and heart is beating hard!!!!! JUst kidding lol

Tek's Rom has SuperSu already in it. Don't flash it. If you do, don't flash anything over then 2.49, and don't forget to flash a kernal.

Here's the simple steps- flash the rom, latest version 6.7 in twrp. Flash skyhigh kernel v4.5 in twrp. Kernel and rom are both already rooted, then just install supersu from playstore if necessary, but you should already find it in your system settings.

I just got Note 5 2 days ago and it took me 4 hiurs to Root...there were so many things this time I didnt know and I never checked the forums...I feel like a fool now I see what I did wrong. ..but I have Rooted every Note since Note 2...including all the Tablets as well..I still have the 2014 Note 10.1. and Note Pro 12.2..and even kept my 4 this time for a backup. But seriously this root was a bit different than usual Notes in the past.

Possible to add cwm after SGT2 7.0 already rooted?

Probably one of the noobist questions to start off with but I need the answer or pointed in the right direction if at all possible, many many thanks in advance.
As you can see by the tittle i already have my galaxy tab 2 7.0 rooted (3113) and totally blanked on rooting with cwm. So how can I do it without having to restart the root process all over again?
Again much thanks is given for all help.
I used mobile Odin to flash the cwm zip back. That worked for me.

Mobile Odin will work... However you'll want to run it in odin and flash CWM.
No you don't have to start the root process over again. I am assuming your stock rooted?

You can go for CM10.1..But I personally like stock..So rooted with unbloated Stock.
I kept reading that stock is best still for maintaining gaming levels (gaming usually pushes a system to its limits more so that anything else). I only just got my sgt2 so im in no rush. Yet

Galaxy Note LTE 10.1 N802X Roms

Hey Everyone.
Can we please populate this thread with all the versions of roms especially for the N8020.
I have a question for the Dev's though... how hard is it to customize existing N801X roms into N802X roms?
There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of choice for us who are using the LTE / 4G version of this tablet!

plz support us
This is a good idea. Including the Verizon SCH-i925 lte version.
Its really a big shame IMO as the lack of development on the LTE version has really made the device a little boring and uninspired...
Don't get me wrong though; as a commercial product its actually quite sound and is very stable in my experience but just boring for someone who really got a taste for flashing when they owned a Tab 7"... that device was saved by the development in the beginning and really had some awesome enhancements by the time I lost my device and stopped checking in..
Anyway all I have at the moment is this one;
Darkman [ROM][STOCK][4.1.2][BMC3] ★★N8020★★ Stock Rooted Busybox Deodexed (CWM) [12/05/2013]
And;
emptynick's thread asking for a wish list of ROM's for the n8020
That's it though...
Anyway the second one is a newish one and so maybe someone is going to take on the job for us and get some stuff ported at the very least.. who knows

The biggest thing is he now has a base. I sent Scott our system dump and boot.img files and he put something together, and while he couldn't test it, I did at the risk of bricking my phone so we can all have a clean base for ROMS. You're welcome

There are zero advantages to the "average" person. None at all...
Unless you fall into these categories...
1. Screwed your phone up and half the things just don't work right because you "read something on the internet to make your phone (battery last longer, speed it up, random useless failed feature here)" and it didint quite go the way you expected it to and you cannot send TXT messages (just a random made up example). This would be a great way to fix that...
2. You flashed "Dev A's" ROM and you realized that the color (random color here) is not for you and you are about to go insane but are on the road so you can just flash this back to get back to a stock look.
3. You want to build your own ROM for personal use and you really dont know where to begin but you know what apps you DONT want in the phone. Yo could use this base to get started.
4. Your another Dev that doesnt have the experience of setting up a stock rooted ROM and may need to use this base to get started. Many people use my stock rooted ROMS across a MULTITUDE of devices because they trust that they are as close to perfect in all aspects as possible. (I was a newb once too and needed to use other stock roots).
If you dont fit into those categories... Then this rom has no value to you.

Yes there's only one 'model' really, the memory size doesn't matter (or the color)
Yeah go for it and flash to your hearts desire. If anything, always make sure your phone is charged all the way, and be sure to either have the factory images handy, or your nandroid backups. This phone is amazing so put it through its paces and try out the different ROMs and kernels...for me stock is fine except I flashed franco's kernel to improve battery life.

like this rom
i like this rom only had a few problems but after a reboot seams to be working good again
I have the weirdest thing happening. I'm on stable 7 and have been for quite a while. It's worked perfectly until a couple days ago and now I can't send text messages out. I think I can receive OK. Just can't send out. I've even tried doing a clean install of this and other ROMs with same result. It gets more odd... After toying with it I can send only one text out. Just one to any person. But I can't send another unless I reboot or I think wait a few hours. Upon reboot I again can send only one text message out. And so on. I have no clue what could be happening. Any ideas?

I had that problem when I was using certain builds. I had to drop modem back to BMB1. After that I could send with no issue. I, too could only send one text at a time.

Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
Hi, I just loaded up Slimkat 4.4.4 with the stock kernel on my Verizon Galaxy S3. I used to use the Wifi Tether TrevE Mod with my previous version and that worked, however, this does not appear to work in this rom. I noticed there was a built in Portable Wi-Fi hotspot, which does work perfectly. I would like to use this but am just concerned that somehow VZ would know I am tethering and I would incur additional charges. Do I have anything to worry about or am I just being paranoid?
Thank you for a GREAT product, it's a spectacular rom.

You could try clearing data for the Play Store. I always encourage a clean flash (wipe data and system) before each new release.
