Hi,
I didn't find anything with rthe search.
It would be great to have an toggle for the "Airplane Mode" like the WLAN toggle.
And the eye candy would be if the lock screen wallpaper would change to one with an airplane. I did see this once on an other phone.
Thx in advance

Just enable plane mode in the Comm Manager...sure, it doesn't change the wallpaper, but it switches the phone off.
I can do this mude a Toggle at the home screen would be much easier, like with WLAN.
i would like to have this toogle too
It's in french but here is what you are looking for : http://htc-touch-hd.forumactif.biz/...fix-f65/tweak-radio-et-data-toggle-t15613.htm

thx
i installed it but it is only a information what is actually on/off.
No have a look in \Windows\Menu démarrer\Programmes (the path in french HD2à you'll find 2 lnk which willprovide you data toggle and radio toggle (Airplane Mode Toggle)
im sorry. you are right.
i have searched on a other folder
any chance that there is a way to enable/disable airplane mode WITHOUT entering the pin every time you enable your phone? I had a symbian phone before and that's one thing that is really bugging me with WinMo. I never had the enter my pin when using airplane mode, only when restarting the phone. (the other thing is that sms delivery reports where added to their sms with a little symbol showing it was successfull, not being seperate sms that pollute my inbox but thats another story )
it does not work on my device. it is looking for VJVolubilis.exe
gets WLAN switched off as well? I would like to have two toggles one that goes in classic airplane mode and o.e that switches off just the phone. maybe thats what the 2 for.
VJVolubilis on my website might work, although I haven't tested it for years.

I was looking for something similar. The links from first posts don't work anymore however I've found yet simplier radio toggle:

Works perfectly on my Rhodium.
While trying to work out how to get the main clock to display in all home screens I accidently "flicked" it off screen while in edit mode and now I cant find it .. the settings for the home screen has the clock ticked. I tried unsetting and setting it, also tried changing clocks. ... please help.
The clock will be there however if it is so bad then simlpy uninstall CHT and reinstall and start again.

CHTeditor Menu softkey> Restore Defaults
But a seperate thread??
It's also possible to set its location on the registry.
But setting defaults would be the quickest easiest solution.
I just recently installed GO Launcher Ex. Its smooth and nice, but there is one issue that I just discovered. If I toggle airplane mode with a widget from the Market (I've tried 2 different ones), going TO airplane mode seems fine, but every time I turn airplane mode OFF, everything turns on but I have no mobile connection (shows an x and no bars). I have to toggle airplane mode on/off again from Settings and all is fine.
I used to use the HTC airplane mode toggle widget with HTC Home screen and it worked as expected, but with another home launcher, there is no access to HTC's widgets So, I'm thinking its the 3rd party's widget's compatibility with the device?
Anyone else have this issue? Only thing I can think of is not using an airplane mode toggle widget or go back to HTC's Home launcher. But, I don't like HTC's bottom launcher. I guess I just want it all, don't I?
Is there a way to get the annoying emergency call off the lockscreen? I am rooted and have xposed installed but haven't been able to find anything to do this
Pretty sure I saw that option in gravity box
Ok I'll check that out thanks
It didn't work but ty
Yea, just tried it myself. It worked before the update.
Is there anything about this in G3TweakBox by P-Toti?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.ptoti.g3_tweaksbox
No I've gone through the Tweakbox also and nothing on there yet, maybe in the near future if I'm lucky ? I'll have to just deal with it for now but thank you
If you download blank widget from the playstore and then add that as a widget on your lockscreen. Delete the other lockscreen and then it's gone
Thanks I didn't think of that
I used hello00's lock screen mod to get rid of the emergency call button: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2834442
My bootloader is locked so rather than flash the zip I just copy/pasted the files to their respective folders. Back up the originals first and you should be set.
Edit: Here's the direct link to the download: https://www.mediafire.com/?g11c7totne173r7
Cool thanks
The Ultra Power Saving mode happens to be one of the features from the Samsung Galaxy s5 that i really wanted on my Galaxy Note 3. And i was hoping that the Kitkat update would bring this feature but that didn't happen and so did the leaked lollipop ROM. I recently stumbled on a tutorial on XDA on how to enable this feature by flashing a zip file and installing a new settings app, which requires rooting your device first. After a bit of tinkering with QuickShortcutMaker, i was able to dig into a hidden settings option which allows me to switch to the Ultra Power saving mode and enable the Greyscale mode.
First of you need to have the Lollipop ROM Installed on your Galaxy Note 3 and QuickShortcutMaker. If you have these already then you can follow the steps below. (you can achieve the same thing with Nova launcher, however i find it takes a lot more steps than QuickShortcutmaker)
1. Open the QuickShortcutmaker app, and switch to normal search from the incremental search.
2. Type in "saving" into the input field and tap on Search, you should get four results in the Settings icon.
3. tap on the Settings icon and tap on the items (i would recommend with starting with the third item) listed to get into the Shortcut creation page where you can try the shortcut to see what it does, edit the label and change the icon.
4.Tap on Try to see what the shortcut does, if you tapped on the right one. You should see the screen below.
5. Press the back button to get back to the shortcut creation page and tap on Create to place a shortcut to this menu on your homescreen (you can change the label and icon from here before creating the shortcut).
6. Once you have created the shortcut, you can now head back to your Homescreen and open the Adavnced (Ultra) Power saving menu by tapping on the shortcut icon you just created. You can choose to enable or disable any of the options in the menu, for me i rather not have the background data restricted so i have that turned off.
If you do not want to go through all the steps there is an installable APK which i have attached, that simplifies all this process.

Using the Nova launcher takes a lot more steps that's it's just better to install QuickShortcutmaker for this

UPSM won't stick. When you open it again, its still off. Is this really working. However, I'm sure gray scale is working.
Yes it works for me. My battery life has improved with this tweak. Background data does get restricted too (if enabled). I have had a look at it, look it seems this mode is quite different from the ultra power saving mode advertised for the Samsung Galaxy S5, as it allows you to use as many apps as before but under with grey scale
This is not a ultra power saving mod but just Gray scale mod of power saving.
You can't enable UPSM on N3/N4 by just adding shortcut as many resources are missing for that.
If you don't want to do too many steps then just use my APSM application (It's part of my ROM as well shared to Echos ROM - nearly page 760-770) for gray scale mod.

@martinkem thanks mate, i can get into those settings, but i can't enable the ultra mode.
any solution?
The UPSM doesnt stick, the mode you can actually enable is the Greyscale power saving mode.
wow! thanks for the share.
Thanks man
:good:wrks good. grayscale wrking.
The method with the shortcut app didn't work here because I didn't get any results searching for "saving'. However, the apk works line a charm. Thanks!
I've only tried UPSM through a custom ROM and I must say it's still not close to the official one. I'm gonna try this one, thanks
