Some More Specifications
1. Gyroscope Sensor: I have seen in numerous reviews and oppo website also, they say that oppo F1 have only Accelerometer, proximity, compass, E-compass Sensors but no gyro. But after I bought the mobile I have seen that is equipped with Gyroscope Sensor named OEM pseudo gyro. This sensor is not accurate, but gets the job done. Many people ask for gyro because its needed for occasional VR.
2. It doesnt have secondary voice cancellation micropone
3. Capacitive Touch Keys Dont have backlight
4. Camera has full manual control.
5. Notification LED is present.

Optus model is f1f and snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5.

1 GHz Qualcomm CPU in future handsets & coming Nokia N810-killer?

I'm not really into writing hardware news (I don't have the time for something that other tech writers / bloggers also elaborate on - instead, I prefer spending my time on tutorials, software reviews, Bibles and unique, genuine hacks instead), but the latest hardware news (reported on by Geek.com) is indeed pretty interesting and certainly shows there will be some REALLY exciting Windows Mobile devices in the (unfortunately, not very near: late 2008 / early 2009) future. Let me cite Geek.com:
First look at Qualcomm’s new Fairbanks and Anchorage mobile platforms
The other model, the more exciting one for most people, is the “Anchorage”. This is based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platform so it will use a 1.0GHz processor (said to operate at 1/2 watt peak) along with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, cellular, and a lot more good stuff. The unofficial word is that Snapdragon will offer close to the best power/performance ratio of anything on the market. The Anchorage device will be aimed more at productivity and the test model I saw had a QWERTY keyboard. The form factor of this model was a lot like the Nokia N810, but the actual design will be whatever OEMs want. So far we know that Samsung and HTC are on board, but there are a few others that are not official yet.

Anchorage
Anchorage and iPhone
The Anchorage was running Windows Mobile 5.0, which was only used for display purposes as any OS, even a full OS, can be run on the 1.0GHz processor. It also has the camera with video recording, GPS, and live TV playback capability. Because it has a cellular signal it will be prime competition for a device like the HTC Advantage, though it will also compete against products like the Nokia N810 and Sony mylo 2.
Everything is still in its early stages and things will change a lot once the OEMs get their hands on them and start to customize. This may mean lost/added functionality as well as many different form factors and large swings in the price. All we do know is that we should start to see the devices released by the end of 2008, possible early 2009.
Which are all the Phones with - 1 GHz Qualcomm CPU ?
& which is Best of them all ?
The Acer F1 and Toshiba TG01 both boast Snapdragon processors. Many MIDs/Netbooks/Smartbooks whatever you want to call them also have it. I estimate that by next year it will be common for many devices to use it. It is revolutionary IMO
Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 will have Snapdragon & WM6.5!

MMM. 578 mb of RAM. Isn't that more than the Holy Nexus One's?
The problem of porting Hero to 32B phones because 32B doesn't have the right amount of RAM so does that mean porting Bravo Sense UI to the Nexus One is going to bring the same problems?

Common Issues:
As Celkon A85 is an budget smart phone it comes out of the box with variety of common and intresting problems.
Major problems encountered while usage are
1. Low Data Memory (140 MB)
2. Low Battery Capacity (1200mAh) Even it gives 10 days stand-by
3. Problem while setting wallpaper through gallery
4. Low Connectivity Issues
As it comes in global market around 60 - 70 EUR., it is very acceptable.
Suggestions:
1. Root your device (Celkon A85)
It helps in Managing the Internal memory and battery performance and life
I got 111 MB of free memory after rooting Celkon A85
(I will help you in obtaining and managing the free memory)
Install CWM on your device (Celkon A85)
(Link will be added soon)
It helps in flashing new firmfare.
For Wallpaper issues i suggest an application called "Wallpaper Wizardrill"
It helps in Scaling the required Image exactly to the resolution.
Other Software related problems can be rectified by Development of software and using various applications from Google Play(I don't suggest it.

Is the Umi Hammer S an impersonation?

I found a review on the new-ish Umi Hammer S. Does anyone else think the Umi Hammer S looks a lot like an HTC phone, specifically the m9 or m9 plus?

Personally, I think they're trying to emulate Samsung rather than HTC.

How so?
The camera module design, as well as button placement and lack of front facing speakers.

Review Umi Hammer S
Package, Content, Aesthetics:[/ B]
The pack is a classic for the latest products Umi, a square box of a generous size with treatment embossed silver; on the rear we find a label with the model and IMEI numbers.

- On the left side we find keys, and the right side we find the volume rocker on the top and the power button slightly lower.
- On the upper side we find the audio jack and the infrared emitter; on the underside of the microphone, the speaker and port USB type-c.
- In the back at the top center are slightly protruding from the camera 8 megapixel f / 2 sony imx164 (13 megapixel interpolated) and dual LED flash (not dual tone), and slightly below the fingerprint sensor.
- In the front we find the earpiece at the top, the camera 5 megapixel f / 2.4 fixed focus but with face detection and light sensors / proximity.
- The soft touch buttons are not backlighted.
- Cover fairly thin but with good interlocking with the body; It is smooth and quite slippery, but does not retain fingerprints (at least the white version). The physical buttons are directly on the external metal frame.

- Presence MicroSD slot with a capacity of 32Gb (I tested Samsung 64Gb and is properly recorded).

- Excellent management 16Gb of internal ROM that are available in a partition to 11.7 GB for apps and data.
- Good management 2Gb ram by Android 5.1 .. more than 1.5 Gb ram free after loading some apps into memory at startup.
Connectivity:
WiFi b / g with no problem stable signal, good power and coverage (not tested it in wifi dual band).
BT 4 tested pairing with headsets and car, also easily transfer with other Bluetooth smartphones
OTG: not tested because of the lack of USB adapter Type-C -> Micro USB
GPS: understated, cold quick fix in about 30 seconds but poor precision and tendency to lose the fix; we hope for a software fix.
Camera:
- Main camera Sony 8Mpixel f / 2 (13Mpixel interpolated) that produces valid shots with daylight; good focus and flash of good power; interface camera classic mediatek poor options; when using the flash or light conditions unfavorable, the quality of the shots falls but not overly, interesting seal at high ISO that allows to bring home click the "acceptable" even 1200 ISO.
- Sufficient video performance, slightly slow the focus and during the displacement along the axis of rotation, is present shuttering; the highest resolution of video is only HD .
- Secondary camera for Selfie 5 megapixel without autofocus but with face recognition, quality of the shots enough for video calls to some emergency selfie with good light.

Le 1s outshines iPhone SE

Apple announced the iPhone SE and the web is going wild about it! The Verge says "The new iPhone SE finally makes a small phone feel powerful", TechRadar says that its "Small but mighty!" and The Telegraph calls it "Apple's secret weapon". Lots of superlatives are being thrown around, as is always the case with Apple products.
So, in the midst of Apple's reality distortion field, I decided to compare it to my Le 1s - that I've been using for more than a month now. The results, at least for me, are very conclusive.

Let's start with the OS. Android and iOS are now at-par on features, freely taking inspiration from each other and the perennial also-ran Windows Phone. However, if you've been using an Android phone, the move to iOS is jarring regardless of preparation. Trust me, having moved from a OnePlus 2 to an iPhone 6S, I know this better than most. If you're an iPhone user already, there is no discussion required. If you're an Android user, then I'd say "Don't even consider an iPhone!"
Moving on to design and build, the new iPhone is, in line with Apple's policy "thinner, smaller and lighter" than the Le 1s. However, the Le 1s has an astounding screen-to-body ratio of 75% that enables single-handed use and the phone doesn't feel too big. After all, within reason, bigger is always better! Both phones offer amazing build quality at their respective price points, so that's not really much of a contest.
On display, if you like smaller screens, the iPhone SE will appeal to you. But for someone who has used a 4+ inch screen device earlier, going back to a smaller display doesn't really work. In this respect, the Le 1s scores with its big but not too big display, and its helped by minimal bezels. Resolution-wise, its a no contest with the Full HD In-Cell display on the Le 1s ruling the roost with its fantastic color reproduction, great viewing angles and almost-zero bezels.
On connectivity, both the Le 1s and the iPhone SE are at par with each other on Wi-Fi and Network compatibilities, but the Le 1s scores with its dual-SIM capability.
When it comes to performance, I believe that specs are just one part of the game. Real-world performance is key. And in this area, despite having lesser amount of RAM than the Le 1s, the iPhone SE performs equally well due to better memory management in iOS versus Android. Its a straight tie!
Camera is another key feature where specs are just one part of the game with actual photo clarity being the key identifier. The iPhone SE uses the much-lauded camera module from the iPhone 6S, so its a given that photos will come out well. The Le 1s on the other hand had a few initial hiccups with photo clarity but they've since been resolved by OTA updates, so overall - its a good camera experience on both smartphones. The Le 1s scores in lowlight clarity and front-camera! Apple, for reasons that defy logic, went with a 1.2MP sensor on the front-camera. Now megapixels might not be everything, but with a 5MP sensor, the Le 1s handily beats the iPhone SE on selfies. Another reason is the smaller aperture size on Le 1s cameras – both front and rear (f2.0) compared to the iPhone SE which has f2.4 on the front camera and f2.2 on the rear camera – in photography parlance, smaller is referred to as “wider”. A wider aperture lets in more light which gives better photos in low-light and indoor situations, and gives you that beautiful blurred “out of focus” effect on wide shots.
With respect to sensors, the Le 1s has an infrared sensor to control home appliances that the iPhone doesn't. Everything else on this front is a tie.
Finally, the "essential spec" in today's world, battery! The Le 1s has almost double the battery capacity of the iPhone SE, with fast-charge built-in! While iOS has better power management than Android, the huge difference in capacity should result in longer standby times with the Le 1s!
Regardless of all technical specifications and performance comparisons, there will still be people convinced that an Apple product is the next best thing since sliced bread! So, to those people, here is a final nail in the coffin. Both the Le 1s and iPhone SE are good phones that do almost everything you can expect them to. Most importantly for a budget-conscious Indian, the Le 1s costs INR 10,999 while the iPhone SE starts at a whopping INR 39,000! That’s three times more expensive than the Le 1s!!! Case closed.
