Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.
The yellow triangle icon means that you have rooted your phone which also removes any warranty as well. As far as I know, it is irreversible as the security features of knox (software security by samsung) on your device has been triggered.
Also U can try reflashing stock kernel
If you still have additional questions, please ask them in the forum below:
galaxy-core-prime
Good Luck!

I have a rooted note 4(so i dont get OTA updates) and kies showed me a firmware update which was 1.8gb download and extracted to a 3.2 gb md5 file.
i upgraded my phone without modifying root.
My firmware is still at 5.0.1
nothing has changed except the sure thing:- root vanishing up and samsung blotware apps returning.
Don't understand what was the update.
Also, now with no root my OTA still doesnt work and shows an error message that i have modified firmware.
is that because of knox??

After reinstalling stock...
Yes, you can definitely install stock firmware and get OTA updates; your Knox counter will still be 0x1, though.

Is there any way to trick an app into thinking it is a certain date in the past without changing the date for the entire device? This would be for an un rooted galaxy s5. Thanks!

I followed the steps in the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/mod-t3175515 to root the device, but now it won't complete it's boot.
I see the Chuwi logo at first, then all that comes up is the Intel inside logo.
I simply want to get this device rooted in order that I can run a couple of apps that require this to be done.
If it's a big problem, then any advice on how to get the system back to 'original' would be great.
I can still communicate with the device through adb and the output of devices -l is ......

I am unable to back up WhatsApp. I contacted WhatsApp support and their response is as quoted:
"It appears that your device is rooted. We are sorry, but we don’t support rooted devices. We understand the reasons behind rooting a device, but please be aware that any new configuration that is a result of rooting may conflict with WhatsApp.
If you wish to receive further assistance, please remove root access from your device. Then, contact us again from inside the app (WhatsApp [Settings] > [Help] > [Contact us]). "
Please can someone how to remove root access from my phone?
Thanks

My phone is Mlais MX-Base with Android 5.1.
The message I receive is "unable to back up. Please check your internet settings and press back up".
My internet is fine (wi-fi) and no intervention from me on the phone.
