I've made a few purchases with my bank of America card but apparently BOA is not eligible for this promotion according to Samsung...even though they have their logo plastered all over the Samsung pay page. Such bull

These things are generally a collaboration between businesses. In this case, I'd bet between Samsung and their banking partners whom I'd wager are bearing the bulk of the costs for this promotion (with the bank whose card is used in each instance paying back Samsung a large portion of the gift card's cost, and the gift card issuer agreeing to a discounted cost to issue the card). Probably BOA, for whatever reason, declined to participate in the promotion.

Just got an Ebay Gift card. Couple that with my free wireless charger I got yesterday, and I am loving my S7 Edge

Yes I'd have to say Samsung has really pulled out all the stops with this product launch. The sales and related promotions, combined with their greatly improved advertising campaign, have been very impressive. Some carriers are even offering BOGO deals which I've never seen done with new, highly anticipated flagship smartphones before.
It'll be interesting to see what they do for the Note 6.

I got the wireless charger..the offer was valid until March 10

Went in BestBuy today and they were offering the free wireless charger with purchase.

The terms for the 30$ gift card says no bank of american debit card. Does anyone know about BoA credit cards?

Anyone who got the gift card (I chose Best Buy) have problems adding it to their wallet?
Did the purchase yesterday, requested the $30 certificate and chose Best Buy. I received a notification of the $30 Best Buy gift certificate in my Samsung pay app. However when I try to add the gift certificate to my Samsung wallet I get the following message:
"Gift doesn't belong to the given user"
Appreciate any help with this. Can't figure out why it's saying this to me.

Samsung Pay Promotion Available for VZW Customers.

So it seems Samsung didn't forget about us VZW customers who missed out on the Samsung Pay free wireless charger promo.
Starting today (10/28), we are able to choose from one of the following:
Free wireless charger
https://samsungpromotions.com/ChargerPromo
or
$50 rebate for buying a wireless charger at a Verizon corporate store
https://samsungpromotions.com/PayPromo
Waiting on my confirmation email
Sent from my Dope Note 5 using Tapatalk
Just ordered mine as well. I had to put the incorrect purchase date though. The order process only went back to late October. I bought my Note 5 from VZW mid September...
I don't know. Something seems fishy about that website. Either way, I received the charger when I purchased the phone in August at Best Buy.

Nothing "fishy" about the website. It's what Samsung uses for it's various promotions. http://promo.samsungpromotions.com/

I signed up, but from all the posts it seems like the charger they send out is a POS anyway. Oh well, it's free.

Yeah, definitely not as good as the Samsung and Choetech fast wireless chargers I bought. But I'll gladly take another free charger.
FoxFi Wi-Fi Tethering still working after updates
I'm on Verizon unlimited data, so I was sweating bullets. Just in case anyone else is apprehensive about receiving the software updates for Samsung Pay to work, I just thought I'd mention that I accepted and installed all available updates, and by all appearances, they did not "secretly" contain anything to prevent FoxFi from being able to Wi-Fi tether. I forgot that I used the Debloat tool to effectively disable automatic updates, so I just went back in there and re-enabled SDM.apk and SDMViewer.apk. (and ofcourse I went back in and turned updates off after Samsung Pay was installed/updated/setup)
-apologies if this is mentioned elsewhere, but frankly it can afford to be mentioned in several places.
Both?
Is there any place saying we can't sign up for both?
EDIT: Yes, I found it. I figured they would have it in fine print. What made me curious about the $50 rebate was if that will apply to the fast charger.
I'm having trouble understanding the $50 rebate offer. It states that you must buy the charger from a participating Verizon location, then states that Verizon online and Verizon corporate retail locations don't count for purposes of this offer. What does that leave, third party places?

I was confused about this too. It's sort of interesting. You actually illuminated the problem. You said "corporate retail locations" but the terms actually do not say that. That's an interpretation.
It says, "Offer only valid at authorized Verizon dealer retail locations. Offer not valid at Verizon corporate online or retail stores and national retailers."
The question is, does the word 'corporate' describe both online and retail? At first read it would seem that the answer is "yes." But, this doesn't make sense. What is a dealer retailer, vs. a corporate retailer? It seemed to me that a dealer would not be a 3rd party.
But, I looked on verizon's website to find store locations and they have the option when looking at stores "Include Authorized retailers." That's clearly the 3rd party stores (the ones that say "premium retailers" on their sign because they aren't corporate stores). And in the terms it called the valid stores, "authorized Verizon dealer retail locations" So now I'm leaning back to the "plain reading" interpretation. This was a very long way of saying, I'm agreeing with your conclusion.

The problem is, in the end, what you or I interpret doesn't mean a thing. We need clarification from the company running this promo. I'm going to email them.
Not that it does me any good, since none of my cards work with Samsung Pay yet, and I doubt they will before this runs out.
It's very simple guys. Any Verizon wireless store will work. What won't work is ordering it from the website or buying from a main Verizon branch which deals with cable and fios. There is a difference between a Verizon corporate store and a Verizon wireless store. Hope this helps clarify things.

Best Buy is not an authorized Verizon dealer. I got an email from Samsung after submitting my receipt stating that they were not and to re-try from an authorized dealer.
The problem is that none of the authorized Verizon dealers I have checked with (3 so far) locally have the basic non-fast charging charger in stock. Actually, it appears to be sold out when the Verizon store tech checked on-line for me. He was going to order it and print me a receipt to use for the promo.
So, I went ahead and purchased a wireless fast-charging charger at Best Buy since they matched Amazon's price of $49.99, hoping it would be eligible for the promotion.
When I signed up it didn't ask me for a reciept? Am I missing something? All I had to enter was the phone id and WiFi Mac address.

You can now get it for your phone no matter who the dealer is. Just go to the Samsung cell phone accessory Web site. The offer is right on top.
Has anyone gotten a confirmation email yet?

Short answer is no...it's in the fine print
FWIW, AT&T is advertising a promo starting Nov. 30 which includes a 64 gb MicroSD card + battery + cradle (same promo as before just with a 64 gb vs 200 gb MicroSD). I was gonna order the v10 today, but now I'll wait.

The question is if people who bought the phone in full can just return the phone and get this offer. Because it doesn't make sense to leave a free phone on the table.

Just got the BOGO offer. Dialed 611, told them I wanted to add a line. From there, once I was connected with Sales, I told them I preordered a S7 Edge (I already have it, but I didn't mention that--even though it's pretty obvious since I'm a new customer and wouldn't be able to dial 611 from my old phone lol) and wanted to preorder another one so that I can do the BOGO offer. CSR didn't know about the offer yet, so he asked supervisor. As long as you order it before your order is completed (so before launch I'm guessing?), you are eligible for the BOGO. Paid about $460, have my order already being processed and almost ready to ship.
Once you get it you have to apply for the rebate I guess and you get the card with all the money for the device on it... Still charged monthly for it.. Only thing I wish is that device is just waived from bill. I guess you can still do that by using the card to directly pay off the EIP though..
TLDR; everyone here that has the phone or preorder it can still take advantage of this offer.
Great deal, came at a time where I was actually going to buy another phone for my boyfriend anyways, so I'm pretty stoked I got it for free lol.
Edit: The promocode doesn't work yet. But you have 30 days to submit the offer anyways.

Did the same thing and they didn't even care if I had the S7 Edge already and I told them that I would cancel my other line and they said as long as you add a line that's all they care about. So there ya go.
Wonder if i can do this and still get the VR headset and netflix.
As long as you regester device before the end date for that. This doesn't affect the pre-order bonus.

Cool. will do
Thinking about getting my brother a phone to replace his LG G3 with this. Anyone see a reason the below scenario won't work?
I was going to pickup an S7 tomorrow in store and add a new line in order to get the BOGO from my S7 Edge. After activating it, take the SIM out and put his in it. Although we'll initially have to pay $10 + EIP for the S7, once the reimbursement card comes in the mail, I'd pay off the EIP and the phone would be owned outright. I'd then cancel the new line and get the $10 off my account. The only hitch I see is that cancelling the line makes the full balance due on the phone, but it would be paid off in full, so that wouldn't affect anything.
Am I missing anything obvious?

Although we'll initially have to pay $10 + EIP for the S7, once the reimbursement card comes in the mail, I'd pay off the EIP and the phone would be owned outright. I'd then cancel the new line and get the $10 off my account. The only hitch I see is that cancelling the line makes the full balance due on the phone, but it would be paid off in full, so that wouldn't affect anything.
Am I missing anything obvious?

I think you'd have to keep the line, and you're correct about the full balance when cancelling the line. Also keep in mind, that this wipes out the Jump on Demand if you're on it. The guy at the store told me that they're trying to get rid of the JOD anyways. So, technically you'd have to keep the phone for 24 months.
Man I bought mine outright... I am dissapointed right now. Now I have to jump through hoops just to get one free... I hope they can make exceptions for people.

The fine print I read does mention the full balance coming due if cancelled, but that would be $0 if paid off using the card. Unless it's like a cable TV agreement when you receive the $400 card and is essentially a 2 year agreement to keep the device active.

Worst case, return the phone and immediately re-buy it on EIP. Wait a week and pay off the balance.
jump through hoops. such a pain and i gave to do it and wait a few weeks potentially

T-Mobile doesn't technically do 24 month contracts anymore. As long as you pay off your EIP for the phone, you are good to close the line. I would keep the line open for 2-3 months to be safe so the rebate can be fully processed.

NETFLIX:
OK so I originally pre-ordered only to be told that the Silver Edge was on endless back order and I might not receive it in time to redeem. So Friday I went to the store, cancelled the pre-order and bought one of the STACKS of silver Edges they had in stock. (Thanks for nothing T-Mobile pre-order supply chain).
Anyway, I went to the T-Mo site that same day per the flyer and registered for the Gear VR. The email I got back from Samsung says "Please allow approximately 4 - 6 weeks for review of your Offer Claim Submission"
However, T-Mobile sayst that A) It's 4-6 weeks for DELIVERY, not REVIEW, and B) that I should receive a netflix email after the confirmation email.
Does T-Mobile mean I have to wait 4-6 weeks for SAMSUNG to review my claim and THEN I'll get a Netflix email? OR should I have already gotten it? You only have until 4/30 to actually redeem the Netflix deal, so that could end up cutting it awfully close.
Do I need to call someone and complain? I find it hard to believe anyone at 611 will have clue #1 how to check the status of this since T-Mobile offloaded it to Samsung to handle.
Not feeling too positive about how any of this was handled so far.
They have completely outsourced the administration to Samsung for both the BOGO prepaid card and the VR and Netflix promos. I have talked at length with the outsourced call center that Samsung has used and they have no clue what is going on. Right now its just wait and see.

Right now, somewhere, some attorney is prepping a class action hoping it all goes to crap. LOL
With redemption date deadlines instead of order date deadlines there's lots of room for tom foolery and gaming it from T-Mo and Samsung's end. Not a good feeling.
You. Will be approved for the gear vr and Netflix deal at the same time. The Netflix code will be sent in separate email. It's on the Samsung gear vr offer page
https://promos.samsungpromotions.com/info/checkstatus
I submitted 2 claims on Monday March 14 and, today March 16, they are showing as "Fulfillment Pending" - I hope that means the claims have been approved and I should be getting the Netflix codes via email and the Gear VRs within 4-6 weeks. By the way, if you have multiple e devices, there is a button to "Add Device" so you only need to enter personal information once. Each device requires IMEI and WiFI MAC (the phone must be turned on to get the MAC).
Submitted two on 3/14, currently have this status
Submission Approved. Preparing for Shipment. Shipping Date estimate: 4/30/2016
I got my approval it says expected shipping date 4.30.16

I checked the status of my tmobile bogo rebate and it states received please allow 8 weeks to process, so all we can do is sit and wait
Sent from my s7 edge
Wonder why tmobile is taking so long to give out the rebate cards
Just redeemed my Netflix credit.

Cuz you can't shut off the extra line until you get the rebate. That's lots more $ for Tmo.
Are there any offers available to buyers now?

Timeline & Status of T-Mobile S7 VR and BOGO Offers
I ordered two S7's on 3-12-16 from T-Mobile's website, one for a new line addition, the other as an upgrade....handsets received and used for first time on 3-15-16. Offers submitted same day.
T-Mobile S7 BOGO Rebate Card Offer
Offer Submitted: 3-15-16
Current BOGO Status: "Received 3-15-16" (See attached pic from today)
Samsung VR Offer (x2)
Offer Submitted: 3-15-16
Offer Approval Emails (x2) Received: 3-28-16 (Included NetFlix Codes)
Current VR Status: "...approved...currently in route" (See attached pic from today)
No tracking/shipment info yet...(Approval email stated estimated shipping date of 5-8-16)
Now, as I recall the last time I did a pre-paid rebate card offer from T-Mobile (for ETF reimbursement on five lines ported in ) it did take 4-6 weeks for the change from "Received" to "Approved", but then the cards were received in the mail in less than a week from the "Approved" status change...it seemed like they mailed them out the same day that the status change to "Approved". So, I imagine that will likely be the case here with the BOGO cards as well.
Cheers,

I got a notice that I had qualified for the $30 Samsung Pay promo. I did not select a gift card right away, and now it seems to have disappeared.

Another Samsung Pay Promotion

I see that Samsung is doing another promotion. Samsung will give you a $30 gift card if you make three payments using Samsung Pay between April 15 And May 10. Last time I got Best Buy. Not sure how to use Ebay through Samsung Pay. But I may choose Best Buy again. I may try this again this weekend. What’s particularly exciting about this promotion is that there’s no minimum spend in place, so you could essentially execute three $1 transactions and bag the free $30 gift card in return. I may to deactivate my card and reactivate it again and see what happens. Here is the link...

Man, I have used samsung pay in the past. Wonder if I am not eligible.
I swear I did this promotion a few days after the S7's release.

This promotion is "only" for people that have registered with Samsung Pay but have "not" made a purchase yet. So if you have already taken advantage of a promotion before, you are not eligible. Unless you use a different phone with a different account.
