Does this mean we will expect stable AOSP roms unlike the Exynos-powered S3,4,5,6 ?
Because my country sells Exynos variant and i'm more interested in custom roms
No.
Kernel source just enable dev to creat custom kernel not custom rom.
Samsung have always release kernel source for the past device that why we have had custom kernel to play with.

Hey,
Can you explain me one thing?
Does CyanogenMod require any special modifications in kernel source to compile CM?
Let's say that I have Device X from brand Y
and brand Y released official kernel source for my deivce x,
Do I have to modify kernel's source (the one brand Y released) before I use it as kernel source for CyanogenMod?
Hi,
I want to build a Kernel for the GT-I9300 from source for CM, I've tried doing it on Samsung based ROMs,
but what do I need for CM based ROMs? Drivers? Specific tweaks?
Thanks in advance.
There are several Kernels Built for the Samsung Galaxy S3 International from CM Source. You may visit the Device forum. As to CM is concerned, they have a nice Wiki on this topic.
Hello, why isn't released a AOSP ROM yet?
Are there any problems/locks/closed sources?

As you know the S6 has an Exynos CPU, so a proprietary. That said it is not that easy to built an aosp rom for it if you dont have any sources.
But there is a thread here around where this topic was already discused.

I'm planning to buy this phone (SM-G532GZKDXTC), and as far as I'm aware, there are no custom roms available for this device.
So, will there any chance that this phone gets a custom ROM in the future? (Because if this phone cannot support custom ROMs (just like what happened with SM-T210, then I might not buy this, and go for the A-series instead)
Thanks

I've started working on porting lineageos 14.1 for the g532 (j2 prime)...
Developers are welcome to contribute at:
https://github.com/SubZero7748/G532-LOS14.1
I got the source code form opensource.samsung.com and I compiled the kernel successfully.
I want to know that how do I use the kernel to build AOSP for my phone?
And the samsung kernel is based on Android 6.0.1, can I port the latest Android version to my phone?
