My N8013 has lirokoa's CM 12.1 & TWRP 2.8.7.0 and everything was working perfectly fine for a few months. However a couple months ago, the tablet just decided to restart itself, and it's stuck in the boot animation for CM ever since.
A few things about this:
Holding the power button only restarts the tablet, will eventually end up in the boot animation loop again
I'm not able to go to recovery. If I try to boot into recovery, it will show the TWRP logo for about 10 seconds, and then the tablet will reboot
I'm able to go to odin/download mode. I've tried flashing CWM to replace TWRP, but rebooting to recovery still shows TWRP logo, the binary counter did not increase
I tried flashing latest stock firmware using Heimdall & Odin multiple times, repartitioned using a pit file, but recovery didn't revert to stock (still TWRP), and the boot animation loop is still CM
I'm running out of ideas

Cannot enter recovery mode, restarts itself a couple seconds after it says "entering recovery".
Things I've tried:
- Downloaded 3 different stock ROMs and flashed with ODIN - still stuck in boot loop.
- CF autoroot + custom recovery - still cant get into recovery
What to do?

Get a hold of Samsung. I'd suspect that there's a hardware issue with your phone. If you're still under warranty, that'd be your best bet.
I have a sinking feeling that the same failure that killed my first tablet, an HP Touchpad (NAND Lock/Failure) has killed my Galaxy Note N8013. All was fine until a few days ago. I was running TWRP 2..8.0.1. and alternating between CM12.1 and BliisRom with no problems. I connected it to charge overnight and went to bed. The next morning it was stuck on the CM12.1 boot animation. It would never boot, just run the animation until the battery drained. I can put it in download mode and it appears to successfully flash stock/custom roms/recoveries (I've tried them all) but as soon as it reboots it goes back to the CM boot animation. If I try to put in recovery (power + Volume up) the TWRP splash screen appears but quickly disappears and is replaced by CM boot animation. Since I can't get into recovery is there another way to do a factory reset/wipe? Any ideas or suggestions?

Only with Odin. My understanding is that ADB isn't available if you can't boot into recovery. I haven't found anyway to make it boot into recovery.
Reflash/recovery
Have you tryed to flash twrp 2.8.7.0 or cwm or, try to reflash the boot.img.
Sorry for bad english i'm only 12
Guys need some help with TWRP.
I am on stock XEF G920FOXA5EQG3 firmaware, instaled TWRP 3.1.1-0 via odin AP, all went fine it installed and phone rebooted normally to OS.
So i turned phone off and enter recovery and it is there TWRP all working. Problem occurs when rebooting from recovery, if i select power off, next boot is to recovery again, and if i choose reboot to system i got boot loop with samsung logo flashing about every second.
Just a note, even with stock recovery, selecting power down, and then powering on again gets me to recovery. with stock only reboot system now will do a normal startup.
knox is tripped if important to note, but not rooted.
Want to instal another ROM so i need TWRP.
appreciate any help. TX.
sorted
I unlocked my fully stock 32 GB Nexus 5 (6.0.1) and then proceeded to flash the latest TWRP. When I rebooted into recovery, the TWRP splash screen shows briefly, the screen flickers black, and then the TWRP splash screen reappears and it does this ad infinitem. When I try to reboot normally it also tries to reboot into recovery, leading to the recovery bootloop.
I also tried flashing CWM and that did nothing either. So currently I can neither boot into the ROM nor boot into recovery. I've tried 3 different versions of TWRP as well.
Thoughts/help?
EDIT: I flashed another version of TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/hammerhead/twrp-2.8.7.1-hammerhead.img) and it manages to start booting into recovery and briefly shows the attached screen (took a picture) before rebooting and bootlooping recovery again.
Flashed factory images from Google and it seems to be booting into the OS normally. Will try recovery again soon…
Hello people!
I have a J400F phone model, I was working with android 9 rooted & working well, I updated to android 10 with a fresh install, the phone works well, and I wanted to use a custom recovery TWRP and root the phone, it stuck in boot loop, this is how I flashed:
- Used Odin with the latest stock firmware "J400FXXU6CTGO".
- restart the phone, and the bootloader is already unlocked "OEM Unlocked".
- Downloaded TWRP for J400F from halabtech, flashed it, then rebooted to recovery.
- In home screen, Wipe --> Format.
- With TWRP I flashed RMM_Bypass_v3_corsicanu.zip then no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1.zip
After this I tried booting to system but then It kept rebooting after reaching the samsung logo.
Any help is appreciated guys.
I managed to access the download mode by taking out the battery, put it back in the phone, connect it to USB in the computer, press vol down and home button and you should be able to enter the download mode to flash the stock ROM (still reading on the second part).
