Hello people!
I have a J400F phone model, I was working with android 9 rooted & working well, I updated to android 10 with a fresh install, the phone works well, and I wanted to use a custom recovery TWRP and root the phone, it stuck in boot loop, this is how I flashed:
- Used Odin with the latest stock firmware "J400FXXU6CTGO".
- restart the phone, and the bootloader is already unlocked "OEM Unlocked".
- Downloaded TWRP for J400F from halabtech, flashed it, then rebooted to recovery.
- In home screen, Wipe --> Format.
- With TWRP I flashed RMM_Bypass_v3_corsicanu.zip then no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1.zip
After this I tried booting to system but then It kept rebooting after reaching the samsung logo.
Any help is appreciated guys.
I managed to access the download mode by taking out the battery, put it back in the phone, connect it to USB in the computer, press vol down and home button and you should be able to enter the download mode to flash the stock ROM (still reading on the second part).

Hello, i just tried to install TWRP recovery on a Galaxy S Advance. Everything went great, odin didn't show me any error and when it finished the phone rebooted. After that it won't turn on ( stuck on the Galaxy logo) and i can't access the recovery. I tried to install another TWRP but i get the same error.

Where did you get TWRP for Galaxy S Advance. I can't find it in the supported device list: teamw.in/twrp_view_all_devices
If you can't get past the logo and can't access recovery, you should try flashing stock firmware for you device and carrier from sammobile.
(sammobile.com/firmwares/ Enter your device model and download the latest firmware for your carrier and region)
You can flash via Odin.
If you still can't boot after flashing original firmware, then try going into recovery again (press and hold volume up + home + power) and do a factory reset.
After that, if you still want to install custom recovery, I recommend rooting your phone (you can easily find tutorials on that) and after, use an app like Rom Manager or Rom installer to flash a recovery. Both of these are available on the play store.

I downloaded all the necessary files on my computer and am doing this with a fully charged phone. My phone has USB Debugging enabled and OEM unlocked. I try to flash the TWRP Recovery file through Odin to my phone while it's in download mode. According to Odin, it succeeded and my phone instantly restarts. It doesn't boot into TWRP or stock recovery; just restarts my device. If I power off and try to boot myself into recovery mode, it takes a few seconds, the screen will for maybe one second show an image of the green Android mascot with the caption 'No Command' and boot itself to my stock recovery instead of TWRP. According to Odin it was a success but I have no idea how to get TWRP recovery instead of my stock one. Any help on how to get there so I can root my device?

Open Odin and plug your phone in. Go to the settings tab and turn auto-reboot off. When you finish flashing the TWRP tar unplug your cable and pull the battery and boot into recovery.

I was on Android 10 and I just flashed latest 2021 MARCH full firmware.

Update was fine and phone rebooted successfully.
Magisk was fine too.
I flashed Magisk afterwards (flash to inactive slot after OTA)
Then, I found out that I did not have TWRP anymore,
so I went into Bootloader mode, and via ADB, booted up TWRP 3.4.0.0
then, I flashed TWRP [twrp-3.4.0-0-I0W1D-Q-mauronofrio]
and rebooted to recovery, to see if TWRP was there...
...and now my Zenfone 6 cannot boot up anymore.
I think I flashed TWRP 3.4 and not 3.5
I really, really don't know what to do now,
ie. phone screen is black but I can briefly see the TWRP logo,
before phone goes black again.
I cannot go into Bootloader mode nor does pressing down on the power button down for 10-seconds do anything.

It seems official android 11 support is broken. Twrp logo flashes for a sec and then bootloops. Any chance for quick update?
I managed to boot into the phone (by pressing VOL down + POWER).
Basically, my TWRP is corrupt or incompatible with Android 11.
So, I got to figure out how to remove TWRP completely (because I have lost root too)

please delete this thread because i am certain now that
the cause of my bootloops, etc... were due to TWRP
not being compatible with Android 11
Today i wanted to install TWRP, so i unlocked the bootloader and flash :
- TWRP-3.5.1-guacamole-Nebrassy-3.img
it worked and then in TWRP i installed :
-wrp-installer-3.5.1_9-0-guacamole.zip​but then it restart and now the phone is stuck with le logo of TWRP which is displayed 0,4sec, and disappears just after for 5sec, and then it reappears... I can turn off the phone but it imediatly reboot to twrp, and even if a do Volume up or down + Power button, it always brings me to twrp.
So i'm stuck in a twrp bootloop without access to fastboot or the system.
If someone has an idea i will be very glad.

Finally I used the EDL mod with the special cable. Worked well
Hi, my father's phone was running custom ROM since last year.
It was needed to remove the root and then this happened:
1. Uninstalled Magisk -> Went in boot loop infinite sequence;
2. Flashed latest official BL file via Odin with auto-reboot option unchecked.
Now the phone is stuck on the Download mode screen and I can't reboot it. I've tried all button combinations with no success.
I was holding the power button even for a whole minute...
