Is there an app which makes use of the Google Play Music app? I personally hate the software but enjoy the selection of music it offers. I pay for a subscription but would rather use a better less buggy app...
I would like to see that too. I only subscribe to Play Music to get Youtube Red. Otherwise I'd still be using Spotify.
I also do not much like that now are more spotify app

Ok so the shine is already wearing off the new update that gives Australia the option to purchase music from Google play, I've just bought an album and downloaded it and I wanted to play it in Poweramp but can't find it? Can anyone tell me why
It will be played and stored within Google play music.

But what if I don't want to play it through Google Music app I did just purchase the album I should be able to play it through what ever i like
I believe it is because the files aren't actually downloaded. You stream them from the cloud using the google music player application.
Sent from my GT-N8013 using XDA Premium HD app
If you read the instructions some where it gives you the option to download as opposed to stream .Either for your uploads or paid for music .

So I contacted google about this, yes there is an option to download through the apo or through your pc using music manager (googles answer to itunes I guess).
If you download directly from within the app on your device you can only play it through google music.
If you download it via your pc I usjng music manager you can side load it and play it though whatever you want ie poweramp.
Quite frankly I dont see why google have to make it so difficult and just allow us to download it directly to our Devices and play it how we want for gods sake
This is so annoying and hope someone can help me.
My Google play music I choose every track that I thumbs up becomes offline, until here all fine, the problem is when I clear the thumbs up on the track they disappear from my playlist but after less than a minute Google music start to download them again.
Does anyone know how to remove it for sure?
All this using the google play music app on android, not on browser.
So I have an idea, It may not be possible, but here we go.
I don't always get my music from the Play Store. Most of the time I've been using an app like Music Maniac. But I would really like to have the ease of uploading new songs to Google Play Music's cloud. Pretty much all the music I have is only on my phone.
So is there any way to make whatever a download from an app other than Play Music, like Music Maniac, automatically go into the cloud for Play Music?
This is my first post, so please go easy on me if I did something wrong.
Thanks!
So now that Samsung is supposed to be making Google Play Music the default music app in their phones and tablets, think there will be a way to stream music like Spotify directly to the watch? I invest heavily in YouTube Red and GPM and don't want to have to switch back to Spotify...
Are you a music lover? Do you often listen to music? Do you want to use Youtube music or Spotify and you're struggling with the high cost of your subscription? Or is it always intermittent when you listen to music due to the quality of your network? Now, a new app can help you with these worries: Musictube.
You can simply use Musictube to enjoy youtube music, and save whatever song you like for later. Musictube can sync all your Youtube library data after you log in to your Youtube account so that you can use Musictube instead of the official YoutubeMusic App. And it's all for free!
You gotta try it! And share it with your friends!
Easy to use navigation and interface
Have the same library of songs as Youtube music
You can play songs when you turn off the screen
You can build your own song list
You can use Musictube just like you would with Youtube music

Thanks for the topic and for the link, I'll try it after work.
