Chrome after marshmallow update. - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note5

On lollipop, when you had chrome in tabs mode and closed the last tab, chrome would automatically close instead of showing the blank screen with the add tab button. Now since updating, it doesn't automatically close anymore. Does anyone know why?

Chrome web browser problems

I have a brand new HTC One X on att, and I have been using chrome for awhile now and all of a sudden it stops cooperating. Specifically when you try to load a web page it shows that it is loading, but never actually shows the web page and you can keep clicking refresh and it does the same thing. Also at the same time if you click the button to view open tabs the top of the screen changes, but the rest stays white and you cant see the open tabs. I have uninstalled the app a few times and re-installed and the problems persist so I am stuck using the stock web browser which isn't as bad as chrome but does have some annoying features. Has anyone else experienced this problem with chrome?

It's not a phone specific issue, I've run in to that before too. Sometimes clearing the apps data and cache in 'Android Settings>Apps.'

Apps showing up randomly

I am using LRX21O in my nexus 5. Has anyone noticed some apps opening up while swiping on the main home screen. It doesn't happen all the time. And also While I try to open google search through swiping up some app gets opened up.

Google keyboard in Chrome missing suggestion bar (it's present in other apps)

So I've just got a new Motorola Moto G and I'm having an issue which is really frustrating. The suggestion bar above the keyboard that gives you alternate word options for what you've typed isn't visible in Chrome. It appears in the messaging app, and in some others I've tested like Google Keep, but not in the web browser.
It was there when I powered on the phone for the first time, then it vanished. I couldn't work out how to get it back, so I did a factory reset. That fixed it for about thirty minutes, but now it's gone again.
I've also just noticed that after I finish typing something in Chrome and hit enter, the bar appears for a fraction of a second as the keyboard closes, leading me to believe it's there but isn't appearing on screen.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks

Apps slow to load

Has anyone else had an issue with apps being slow to load from the home screen?
Y'know, how when you click an app, it'll immediately go into the animation and start loading? Well with a few select apps for me (mostly browser apps like Chrome and Brave, but sometimes with Facebook and others) there's a slight pause between when I click on the app and when the animation starts.
It's almost as if there's a latency issue, but it only happens when opening those apps from the home screen. If I'm clicking open a link in facebook, or loading from a google search, or toggling apps from the recent apps page, the delay isn't present at all.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? It's kind of annoying as the S7 and S8 are the only devices I've used in years now where this has been a problem.

Chrome incognite mode auto close and screen brightness changing after system update

Wonder if anyone has same experience after install Google frameworks using the backup restore method.
1. Open website in Chrome incognite mode, not sure how many days, say 2-3 days, at some stage, all the incognite tabs will be closed automatically, but any standard tabs opened will remain there. Don't think Chrome has been updated when this happens. On my other phones like HTC etc, even updates Chrome app, incognite tabs will still be there after app updated.
2. After system update, the screen brightness is always set back to auto-adjust. Not sure if it is some sort of default setting.
Thanks.
