You could try flashing stock 6.0.1 firmware doing the following:
1) Find your firmware here ( http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G920F/) and download the correct one. (Extract to desktop after)
2) Download Odin 3.10.7 ( http://odindownload.com/ ) and open.
3) Click 'AP' and select the firmware you downloaded (May take a few minutes for it to load)
4) Turn phone off, put into download mode (Hold Volume down, Home button and Power button) and continue
5) Connect phone to laptop (while in download mode) and when it says 'Added' in Odin, click start.
Only solution I could think of to fixing your problem, remember to back up all data if you're going to flash.
Also clear cache before flashing firmware. (Phone off, hold volume up and power) and select the option, then go ahead and do your thing

I had to flash 6.0.1 for my UK unlocked phone and all went well, try the same firmware I used: (If your phone is UK and unlocked):
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/66426/G920FXXU3DPBG_G920FBTU3DPB1_BTU/, BUT without the pit file, when I messed my phone up, I downloaded the firmware only from this link, just one file, and flashed it without pit or anything else (and everything went perfect). Might be able to help you too, if not then I'm not sure what else to do
EDIT: Also, after flashing and everything is done, you MAY have to turn on using safe mode (only on first time), I had to as it wouldn't go past the samsung logo first time after flashing. Phone does NOT actually go into safe mode, but gets it to boot correctly (Not sure why, or how it worked after, but it did)

Well if you've flashed and the firmware boots up fine, then just ignore the last part.
If not, and you get the same problem as me:
Make sure phone is off. turn on as normal (but while holding the volume down button until phone fully boots), do NOT hold the power button all the way though, just volume down

[Q] Some other functions of my device not working.

Hi there. I need help for my device. After I rooted my Samsung galaxy core I8262 i'v planned on installing the CWM Recovery. But before that, I tried to back up my device using the TITANIUM Backup. While the backup procedure is on the process my phone shuts down (because the battery is low i guess). After then, when i turned on my phone, the boot process stops only at the SAMSUNG logo. But after a couple of restarts (maybe 10 i guess) my phones passes the boot process of the SAMSUNG logo. Now while i'm using my device I've found out some other malfunctions like:
1) I can't detect and bluetooth devices even other devices tried to detect me but its undescoverable.
2) I can connect to a hotspot device, but i cant access the Internet even if it has a connection.
So far those where the problems that i had encountered yet after the backup problem occurs. What should I do in this kind problem? Should i upgrade my firmware?
Thanks

[HELP]G920F XME bricked.

Hey guys,
I accidentally flashed the CF-autoroot for 5.0.2 (I forgot there is no root yet for 5.1.1) right after updating to 5.1.1. Now, I'm stuck on the Downloading screen with no access to recovery. When I tried flashing stock recovery(after converting from img to tar.md5) from the Stock tar.md5 it game a NAND Write Start FAIL. I can't flash the stock firmware (G920FXXU1AOCZ) either it gives me the same NAND error.
I have no idea what to do next. Any help will be appreciated. I'll probably head to a customer care center tomorrow if I can't figure this out by then. Please any and all ideas welcome.

Are you using Odin 3.10.6?
Exit from Download mode by pressing and hold both volume up and down button + home button + power button for a few seconds. After this you will exit download mode. Once screen turns off press and hold volume down + home button + power button. This will bring you to menu prior to download mode. Restart odin. Connect your device to your PC. Press volume up. Reflash your 5.1.1. Don't make the same mistake twice.
I have this same problem, I can only access download mode I CANNOT get into recovery. May I ask where I can download the 5.1.1 software from? I flashed from smart switch but now I am bricked smart switch does not pick up the device. My S6 is the varient mentioned here. Please, please, please someone help with a link. Thank you.

There is no 5.1.1 firmware yet for G920FXXU1AOCZ. If you have a link or can upload one I'd be very grateful. Also I can flash any 5.1.1 G920FXXU1AOCZ firmware right?
From what country do come from or where you bought your S6?

Based on the CSC (XME) you mentioned on your title you can try flashing this G920F 5.1.1 Malaysian ROM via Odin:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/49468/G920FXXU2BOFO_G920FOLB2BOFF_XME/
I am in the UK and I bought it from O2
Here you go UK O2 5.1.1:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/49735/G920FXXU2BOFJ_G920FTEF2BOF1_O2U/
I am in India bought it from Malaysia. My phone is XME-G920F. I was just able to flash another 5.1.1 ROM from another Asian region (XEF). Somehow that worked. Sadly now I have to fix region lock since I didnt make a call before leaving Malaysia.
Reflash using the Malaysian 5.1.1 posted above.

Will that fix sim lock ?
Hi, I just recently got a UK S6. (SM-G920F) I'm not sure where to really begin other than when I go to try to enter download mode it goes to a screen that appears like the stock android recovery only everything is in Chinese I believe. (Yes I'm holding volume down, home button, and power button) But no download screen comes up. And I'm pretty sure its running a custom rom because of the boot animation when it powers up (says datuyo) and there's no option to download an ota update. All I'm trying to do is go back to fully stock (I'm in America on AT&T). Build number is KTU84P.G920FZCU1ANIF if that helps. Also below it it says "Custom build version" which is I9296.MHD.C.B-V3.0_0508. I"m not sure what this means, but that's my situation, ANY help would be appreciated.

Help - QDLoader 9008

Something went wrong with my 930T when I tried to flash the deodexed rom and root. Now the phone is stuck on an all-black screen and is only recognized by my computer as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader. Is there a straight-forward (or non-straightforward) way to get the phone into download mode or to manually restore it.

Did the problem occur after the flash of the rom or after rooting?
And have you tried putting it in recovery mode or download mode already?
It occurred after rooting. I have tried to use various key presses (no responses when not connected to a computer, power down for a while does get a disconnect sound from windows). Nothing has gotten anything to pop up on screen. I have the odin restore files ready once I figure out how to get the phone to download mode.

*Also Before you try this turn it off and let it charge for an hour or so...*
So in that case I'd attempt the same key presses to put it in download mode even if nothing is displayed...
1. Volume Down + Power + Home to put it in download mode
2. Then press Volume Up to continue past the warning screen even if nothing is displayed.
3. Grab The Latest Version of Odin here
4. Then Download The Stock Firmware, in this case you will need whichever version you have (if you do not remember you can just download the latest available firmware) Download Firmware and then extract it. (If you have 5 different files in the zip go to step 8)
5. Then install Samsung device drivers(if not already).
6. Start Odin, Plug in the S7, Load in the tar.md5 in the AP/PDA and uncheck Auto Reboot and Repartition.
7. Let the phone restart... VIOLA!!!
8. Alternatively if the zip has 5 files... They should all start with the corresponding buttons in Odin For Example:
AP_G930TUVS3APD8_CL7856276_QB9546176_REV02_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
BL_G930TUVS3APD8_CL7856276_QB9546176_REV02_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
CP_G930TUVS3APD8_CL7856276_QB9546176_REV02_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
CSC_TMB_G930TTMB3APD8_CL7856276_QB9546176_REV02_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
HOME_CSC_TMB_G930TTMB3APD8_CL7856276_QB9546176_REV02_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
After they are entered into Odin you hit start and after a few minutes ... It should be fixed....
Let me know if you have any further questions or issues...

[HELP!!] Hardbrick after installing TWRP

Hi guys,
So today i tried to install TWRP on my Galaxy S8+ with odin
after reboot it asked for somekind of reset so i did but TWRP wasnt installed.
I tried it again but before it rebooted i checked if TWRP got installed and still no TWRP
so i flashed it again without booting in to the phone.
Phone reboots.. well actually NOT.
its not booting up and keeps showing me the Samsung Galaxy S8+ text with powered by Android below.
So now i tried to flash the stock firmware again but odin keeps saying FAIL (DeviceInfo).
i only can get into download mode, recovery mode buttons doesnt work.
also tried it with Smartswitch & Kies but after downloading the firmware it wont recognize my phone.
Please someone help? i really dont know what to do anymore...
You can download Samsung Smart Switch and choose the emergency software recovery option. You'll loose everything on the phone but it sounds
as if you're already there.
It will ask for your phone serial and exact model no., then it will download the latest release and install.
Usually will work from the screen your on, but if a prob., boot into download mode.

What device model do you have?
I assume its a 955F or FD?
Please dont tell me you have a U version.
sent from my Note FE, S8 plus, S7 edge or S6
1. Download earlier firmware AQF7
2. Hold power, volume down and bixby button for download mode
3. Open Odin on your PC
4. Add the AQF7 BL and only this
5. Hit start and straight after this hold the 3 buttons in again power, volume down and bixby (this should fail at first and bring you straight back into download mode)
6. Now back on Odin spam the start button this time (this should flash the BL and have you sorted again)

This - you probably have the newer AQG5 bootloader, which TWRP doesn't support yet.
So follow the instructions above, flash back to the previous bootloader, the you'll be able to flash TWRP ok.

I had the same issue once before. What the fail device info. I think I fixed it by using the most recent update (I think). And messing around with csc files. All this was done half assed in desperation. Then went back to the unlocked firmware and stopped messing with it. Yes Smart switch didn't do crap. Use updato.com to obtain your firmwares

SM-G920F - Bootloop during installing systemupdate

Hi, a friend of me has a Samsumg Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F), which runs continuously in a bootloop while installing a system update. It goes to 29% and then restarts himself to start installing the system update again and returns to exactly 29% again, followowd by a restart again, and again, and again ........ Attempts to start-up in recovery mode (Power, Volume +, Home) or download mode (Power, Volume -, Home) do not work. Also my PC does not recognize the phone. :crying::crying:
Does anyone have got an idea to got my phone working, or any other idea to get my phone in recovery- or download-mode?
Anyone?

No, unfortunately not. It keeps restarting when system update is at 29% and after the restart keeps comming back in "installing a system update" ......

You are not holding volume down+power+home long enough. Keep holding it until you get to the download mode prompt screen.

I'm guessing you already tried running it flat? There is still a chance download mode is bootable once you get the phone to go off due to flat battery.
This phone is a pretty bad brick, I've fixed up to DRK corrupted but this one seems unrecoverable.

Yes, I already let the phone running empty battery. But as soon as I plug in the powercord, the same process starts over and over again .......
And with adb ?
same trouble
Hi everybody, i had the same trouble on my G-920F (S6), and the only strange way i've find, is to keep button volume up AND down and power, once it's turn off for rebooting, i've add the home button pressed.
finally by that way it show me the recovery menu. Another time it show me the download menu !!??
Well but now my trouble is that i cannot succeed to flash correctly the last official samsung firmware using Odin .
i've tryed to erase nand (i know i should not), but without succeed.
so i'm looking for pit file, and i will try an older firmware.
so try with the volume up and down and power, in case of it works like for me
