Some designer available? - General Topics

Hello friends, I am very new to android, but since I changed the ¡Phone for this OS, and researched this ye seen that it is much better, starting that can be edited .. I have a Samsung Galaxy J1 model 2016. I bought excited which had the numbers '2016' now I see that it is not 'THE MODEL' referring to how good I thought it was, it is just an improvement / upgrade previous J1. The phone came with Android 5.1.1 Dual SIM, LTE, etc.
I am very organized and / or perfectionist about cell. I wonder if someone could develop a custom ROM based on Android M '6' because this phone just was introduced in January this year, probably no one heard from him, then, let me know, if could develop.
I would like the update, because I like the icons of the task bar elegant look, and that, but .. I liked the menu of Samsung, I mean, the menu of the taskbar is not black and all icons if not, which is blue, horizontal 'I'll put image'

Clock Icon that shows current time

We have an "intelligent icon", it is Calendar icon. Is has the capability of changing its picture, showing us the number of the current date, ok?
I am seeing my iPhone, and Calendar icons says "29".
Well, in that order of ideas, I think it could be possible to have an "clock icon" that shows the current time (in analog or digital way) with an automatic-minute-actualization.
Is it a crazy idea?
If not, who starts the development?
(sorry if my English is not totally correct)

An icon is a bitmap - it has zero "intelligence" - it is just a picture.
The calendar icon on the iPhone is a background image with the date overlaid as a font or image.
And I would recommend XIAMultiTheme over rlToday. Compatible XML-wise, but far superior in feature set and much easier to use.

But I have an iPhone, and that program is only for Windows Mobile...
I shoud have mentioned that I was looking something like that, but for iPHone.

Posting on this forum asking for iPhone software is like like asking for Skoda tuning tips on a Ferrari forum - likely to get you flamed!

iOS 7 Icon Pack!

Hey guys! This is Crutchcorn. This is my very first app! This will be updated as I am terrible at this as of now.
I kept getting sick and tired of not finding any good iOS 7 Icon Packs with the original icons! As this is a VERY new thing for me I have noticed some difficulties with applying the app theme in LauncherPro but my phone is running on 2.3.3 so that might have something to do with it. Please let me know how it works for you! :fingers-crossed: Hope it works!!!!
(Note: If applying a theme doesn't work for you try applying it manually using something like Icon Changer )

Hey there, you may also want to try to get root on your phone, and to get
Blurred System UI
Flat Styled Color Bar
Flat Style Module
And if you really want to get fancy you can also grab a CM11 ROM and install Flat Style Theme.
There's so much more I could put here, but I don't want to waste anyone's time if they don't want it

If I might say, I've been so bold to extract icons from apk, since I don't have any suitable launchers , but my LG g3 supports editing single icons and applying png files... Seem to me they're a bit on a small size, I'd like them to be like 3 pixels from the edge of the png, not smaller (with more transparent space on each size) ... if that makes sense ... besides that , all icons are "pitch perfect" iOS.
But at this moment , I went with ClickUI / PopUI style ...

No I know, and if I am to continue development I have very bold plans (to make a 1:1 clone of iOS as much as possible [only better ;D]) with support for many launchers and just a lot more than this. They are a bit small, but I did this in one evening so eh. It totally makes sense. That's cause it's extracted right from iOS firmware. I want to find someone with a rooted iPad Air 2 (so they can send me a pull of EVERYTHING on internal).... If you know anything like that I may consider getting back into developing this...

I've got iPad mini 1 , and iPad 1 (for retro iOS6 icons) ... I'm guessing that these icons are on the smaller resolution size ... If it would help , I'll gladly extract them in a day or two ... do you know any paths for them etc. something of help ? That green felt is not something we entirely easy got rid of.
Oh, wait .... Damn, my iPad mini is still on iOS6 ...

Oh sweet! Those both work! I could possibly do a bit with iOS 6 stuff as well. Oh jeez... It's been so long and I've sense removed my backups from the device.... I'm not sure but MAY (no promises) be able to get an Apple device for a bit to do a bit of reminding myself. It's okay if you Mini is iOS 6 I suppose... If you'd like I could help you get it onto iOS 7 and then root it, but if that's not an option I fully understand as well. TBH I did this a while ago. I had been part of the jailbreaking world sense iPhone OS 3 and I moved over to Android and gave away my iPod touch right before iOS 7 came out

comic sans in Android 5.0+

Hi all,
I am a long user of comic sans fonts in Android.
Everything was working fine till I decided to upgrade to 5.0 and more. First I thought it is related to CM 12 but after trying out a few roms it seems to be the problem with Android 5.0 and up. The characters appear as blocks. Before they were working just fine. I am attaching the screenshots
Any ideas how to fix it except going back to less than Android 5.0?
The second image is ukranian keybord. Their currency symbol is not showing up. Interesting I can see the Ukrainian "I" (I with two dots) without any problems (which doesn't work in other fonts at all)..

If your main concern is the clock try leaving clocktopia with the default version.
Also, give a try to Comic Neue, an attempt on making Comic Sans more appealing, might work. I find that lighter fonts look better on my phone.
That rectangle normally appears if A the fonts to big B the character is missing in the font

[Completed] Problem with Cyanogenmod7 (2.3.7Ginger) on Notifications

Hello, my name is Sunicito from Venezuela:laugh:.
I've got a Huawei UM840 Known in my country as "Huawei Evolution 1", it is a very old and low-spec phone could only run Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread. I installed it with the CyanogenMod7, the rom and the installation guide was on a Venezuelan forum.
I've got to say the rom runs pretty smoothly and it doesnt lags (considering this phone stock rom is Eclair2.1 upgradeable to Froyo2.2 officially) so i am very happy with 2.3.7.
Everything was going fine with the phone and the rom but i have seen a problem with the notifications bar, specially when i slide it down, the notification letters show in dark as the background of the "sliding dock" so it is very hard to read what says unless i pass the finger trough it.
I Took screenshots for better understanding of my problem:

So, my question is; what can i do to make those letters at least blank? i know CyanogenMod is very customizable and also this Rom came with ADWLauncher as stock launcher. I mean, its there any twerk that i can modify to get it at least readable?
I came to you becouse you know very well of these situations, i googled a lot but i didnt find anything.
I apologize for my bad english, im studying it so maybe in a future you will see a better understanding on my threads!

How do i change the icon color based on a condition in kwgt?

Hi guys, im totally new to the forum and also really new in the world of android customisation.
I installed kwgt pro and tryed a few things and ive to say i love it. Theres nothing u cant do. So i got an idea but i really dont know how to build it.
Ive 5 tiny white icons on my homescreen. Id like to have them change the color based on a condition. For example if i get a new message in WhatsApp id like to have the icon in orange and once i read it it should turn white again.
Ive bought tasker so if id need that to fullfill my idea it wouldnt be an issue.
I tried it with the battery charging and non charging based on the tutorial on the kwgt website and it worked but with the icons im stuck.
As far as what icons and what conditions- id like to turn the telefon icon orange once ive misded a call and the WhatsApp icon once i get a new message.
Heres my homescreen so u can get a feel for what im talking about.
Oh- seems like ive to make a few posts before i can post pics
