Hi,
I can't connect my honor 6 to pc. Tried different cables and computers, none of them works... usb debugging mode is on, what can be wrong?

After taking the lastest update I get a "usb device not recognized" on my pc. I have tried 5 different pc's. Windows 7 32bit and 64bit, xp, xp pro and vista. The pad charges fine and I have tried a different usb cable and I get the same result. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
are you connecting using the asus connector, or are you connecting through a usb port?
Sorry, I should have specified. I am connecting using the supplied Asus data cable.
With all of the pc's, did you use the asus-supplied drivers? You can also try turning on usb debugging in settings.
Yes all drivers and I have toggled the usb debugging on and off with no luck. All of this started after I did the update. I reloaded the update last night from asus and still the same result. I am beginning to think it is the asus data port, but it charges fine.
I have spent the past several hours trying to connect my Nexus 5 (Android Lollipop, Windows 8.1) to my PC with it's regular USB cable, with no success. I have tried flying to the moon and back for this. I have tried Google's SDK USB Drivers, their other drivers; and even the Universal Naked Driver (all I got was some hash not found error or something), nothing has worked. I have entered and exited USB debugging, and switched between MTP and Picture mode several thousand times and nothing. I'm nearly ready to smash this POS. Is there anyone out there that can help me?

My friend had similar issues with his nexus 4. It seems that's a bug with Windows 8.1 itself. However his phone does get detected in Camera mode. Try connecting it on some other PC and see if it happens on it as well.
So i decided i was going to try O. I went to plug my phone in (still on 7.1.2) but i cant get MTP or PTP to work on 3 different computers, and 3 different USB cables. Windows sees it, while in charging itll bring up the MTP device in explorer, but moving phone to MTP or PTP just makes it disappear.
In TWRP it doesnt bring up at all in windows
Anyone else had this issue?
i tried to plug in my mi4c to computer - charging work fine but phone doesnt show in my computer and in mi pc suite. I used 2 different cables and tried all usb ports, with and without usb debugging. No problem few months ago with this and now nothing, no reaction on pc. Anyone can help me?
i have miui 8.2 by xiaomi.eu
Phone is rooted and on android 10 and xxxnolimits installed
I connected phone to pc and only charging. Tried 3 different cables, including official one and 3 different USB ports and not showing on pc. I can hear noise it's connected to pc but then another noise to disconnect
Usb debugging is enabled and default usb configuration I can change to file transfer, usb tethering , midi, ptp & no data transfer. I changed it to each of them still not showing
There is no option to choose mtb from drop down notification no notification is there
I rebooted phone and pc and cleared cache. Also i app settings allowed notifications.
I'm at the end of my tether trying to figure out what issue is as was working previously.
Now all its doing is charging
Any suggestions

Do you have the latest fastboot-adb platform tools installed? Just a thought.
Will check
However usb notification drop down not coming up on phone to change settings when I plug phone into port.
Also plugged phone into USB port of car for android auto and not picking it up
If I restore a backup would that be worth trying or does issue seems to be with usb port on phone?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling usb google drivers on your pc ( or your appropriate driver's for your phone).
Install OEM USB drivers | Android Studio | Android Developers
Discover links to the web sites for several original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), where you can download the appropriate USB driver for your device.
