Would installing a custom rom on a galaxy core boost performance? If so, what would you recomend?
CyanogenMod 11
Hello and thank you for using Q/A,
if you flash a CyanogenMod based ROM, you will get a better performance because CyanogenMod do not have bloat apps.
You can install this ROM:
[ROM 4.4.4]CyanogenMod 11L Core i8262/i8260 (CM11L)
But please have a look here:

Would the ROM you mentioned be easy to use by someone who has only basic knowledge of android?
Yes

Hey there i m new here and in grave dilemma. I m using samsung galaxy grand duos i9082 running on cm11 dual sim rom based on android 4.4 and i m feeling the need to overclock my cpu, so can i flash custom kernel over the custom rom which i m using? The custom kernel which came along with the custom rom overclocked
my cpu by 0.1 ghz i.e. from 1.2 ghz to 1.3 ghz and m feeling a need to overclock it to a more higher extent, as there is no substantial change in the performance even after switching from stock to a custom rom. i need ur help and advices
you may flash a Custom Kernel designed for your device over a custom Rom, also designed for your device. Do not Overclock to the point the device is unstable or is permanently damaged.

Want cm 12 custom rom for grand neo gt i9060 .......
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately there is no CM for that phone as it's a fairly low popularity device. You can learn how to build CM though, here's a great tutorial:

Good luck!

Hi Team,
can anyone suggest which ROM is best for samsung s3 neo dual sim? my requirement is i want performance, ultra power saving mode and themes
Regards
Sathya
Greetings and welcome on XDA :fingers-crossed:,
if you want ultra-power-saver mode, you need to flash any stock based ROM.
Maybe you can try this ROM:
[ROM]Motion ROM LL[TW][5.1.1][PORT TW][BETA]
It's a Lollipop ROM, which has been ported from Samsung Galaxy S5. It should have power saving mode.
Kind regards

HI GhostOfVoid
Thank you for the prompt answer
There are multiple Kernels for you to select. For example, the same "kernel brand" for both Stock and CM distributions:
[KERNEL][AGNi][CM] 18-05-2016 AGNi pureCM v4.5.5 N7100(ULTRA SMOOTH)
and
[KERNEL][AGNi][STOCK] 18-05-2016 AGNi pureSTOCK N7100 (ULTRA SMOOTH)
You will find these and much more hosted on the below Forums:
