Dear all,
I have s-off Sprint One A9. I unlocked and gained s-off.
I have gsm connection but I cant connect to mobile network.
I live in Turkey we dont have lte or 4g here. So any ideas for solution ?

i Have A9 Sprint unlocked only show "G" but navigate to HSPAP i think not LTE overseas but HSPAP its fine to me :laugh:

This question seemed to come up a few times in the past, not sure if it was properly answered.
Got a Sensation 4G from TMobile Store in NYC last week. Brought it to the UK, and it is able to connect to the 3G network here no problem.
It did not even need un locking to connect to TMobile UK Network.
Funnily Enough, it never says 3G / H, it always says 4G on notification bar.

Will be very interesting to see if you see roaming charges on your next bill.

The "3G" and "H" symbol doesn't exist on the US Sensation. "4G" is the same as "H", HSPDA.
So the phone is unlocked? Seems odd - Anybody else with a US S4G try a different SIM?

Mine was locked. I unlocked it yesterday using an AT&T SIM.

I'm using a UK Sim card (TMobile Exists there as well), so i hope not!

Could you clarify that?
You don't unlock a phone by using a different SIM. You have to unlock the phone by entering an unlock code. Only after it's unlocked can it use a different brand SIM.

Well...I DID enter the unlock code...we all know that's the only way to do it...

What I was trying to establish is whether the phone came unlocked or if you had to unlock it. You've answered. Thanks.
I got an unlock code from a web site, and now my sensation works in spain with Happy Movil.

I'm in Germany with an unlocked MT4G and, while the calling feature works, the data/internet package does not. Per the carrier here (Tchibo/O2), they use the 1800 band which to my knowledge IS supported by the device.
Any ideas of why this isn't working would be appreciated ... of course more appreciated would be any ideas for a solution.

1800 is a GSM frequency, not 3G. 2100 is used for 3G in Germany.

According to the specs the MT4G does support the 1800 GSM band, although it's not used in the US. In theory it should work at 2G speed.
If it were me I'd be asking them why I'm not getting 3G on the 2100 frequency, but that may be a coverage issue.
Big fan from you guys in the XDA WORLD! .. I have a question that all my friends that i been helping keep asking me.. we have rooted the galaxy s3 (verizon) as we know they locked the bootloader so it been hard to work with... after rooting the phone i have install the APN manager pro.. to set another APN, its ONLY conecting to 2g or Edge i need find out why it ONLY conecting to 2g or Edge.. hope to get an aswer..

Yes it is GSM UNLOCKED.
No you will never get anything faster than 2G/Edge on At&t.
Those band are only unlocked for international use. What your at now is the best its going to be.

I have opened this thread to untherstand if there is any chace to make work my Verizon M8 with the network band here in europe.
My M8 with the HD revolution 50 Rom work exelent expet for the network signal.
I saw that here in europe more or less the band used by the phone are the same of the ATT network in US.
If I put the ATT radio I can have more signal?

I do not believe it is as simple as just putting the ATT radio on the device, but honestly, I do not know.
Maybe you can SuperCID and flash the ATT radio (DON'T do this based on me..)
It may help to do some research on older HTC devices and getting Verizon variants to work on ATT and possibly edit that method for this device?

I think boost mobile have the same rom like sprint, so you can s-off it and use for gsm.
I have honor 6X indian variant.My 4g connection works fine when I am using Reliance Jio carrier sim card.But when i switch to my vodafone simcard i am unable get 4g data speeds.I am able to view vodafone 4g network and connect to it.But when i turn on my mobile data i am only getting 2g or 3g speed.I have talked with customer care , rechecked my vodafone internet settings they all are fine.Vodafone is set as primary sim and 4g is enabled.Even my subscription plan is 4G plan i have checked.Can anyone help me to resolve this.

Yesterday i got update BLN-L22C675B340 , after installing there was no immediate change. but today since morning i am able to connect to 4g network all right. Don't know if it was due to carrier issue or phone software issue but its has gone away now for good.
Maybe you live in an area where Vodafone have no band of LTE that's compatible with your device
im using idea 4g. i do get 3g speed sometime when there is no 4g signal but at my home i alway have 4g i got good signal at home.

Vodafone keeps sending me sms like please insert your card in sim 1 slot to enjoy 4g.But I hv already kept it as my primary 4g sim.(see the screenshot, its in hindi lang)

So this makes my conclusion a logical one, Vodafone doesn't provide a 4G band that's supported by your device in the area where you live!

its LTE 3 1800 for Vodafone india in mumbai.And honor 6x supports it.

I use Vodafone 4g in my Honor 6x 3gb variant and its working fine...
From the screenshot you provided, we're you used to set your network manually to Vodafone 3g rather than 4g network?

I have always used automatic selection.Even if i manually select vodafone 4g it will register on network but it will still connect to 3g network.
Issue gone away like magic this morning , Don't know how

Does it have 4g network in your area... how about checking the same in other model.
Mine ia china variant but still all Indian sim works fine except jio volte calling but 4G is fine.
