S Voice keeps randomly thinking I'm trying to talk to it - Samsung Gear S2

Nevermind. I found where to turn off Voice Wake-Up.

Too bad, it's actually a really powerful feature. You're missing out on A LOT of what a smart watch can do without this.
If you want to use it, just assign a word/phrase that is unusual and distinct. It won't keep listening to you when you don't want it to.

[REQ] "Vibetonez" Ringtones???

So Im not sure where this would actually fit in on here but Im looking for something close to a Vibetonez kinda program, for WinMo 6.1. For those of you that dont know Vibetonez were ringtones that when a bass note would hit, or a certain rhythme would go, it would vibrate along with the ringtone music, I was just wondering if someone knew of an alternative or even how you would go about doing something like that, again I appologize if this has been brought up before or If Im putting this in the wrong category, just interested in something like this.
bump..
that would be a nice app..
Try VAlert...
with this u can compose your own vibrate sequence...

I've actually been looking for the same thing (I think), and VAlert didn't provide it:
VAlert lets you set a custom vibration pattern, but as far as I can tell, only one single pattern.
It would be nice if there was a program that let you set multiple different custom vibration patterns for different callers. That way you could 'feel' who was calling, and decide if the call was important or not without having the ringer on.
is there anything that provides that ability?

Click to collapse
I was looking for something more like this, or something that responds to the ringtone. not just a set vibrate pattern
Yeah I was thinking more so responding to the actual ringtone, VAlert is nice but it would be nice if you could set multiples ones though, for instance a different vibration for SMS, MMS, Email, Appointment, Voicemail, Ecetera. It would be nice if you could figure out what frequency of music the program would pick up, and vibrate to that frequency, although to me that seems rather demanding on that scale.

[Q] Get rid of or lower volume on super loud beep using Voice to Text input

So, I know everyone loves Jelly Bean - I couldn't wait to get it. And while there are some great things about it, there are also some annoying things. When using Google Voice to Text input it makes that loud "beep" sound to let you know to talk now. Is there anyway to at least lower that sound? I use a voice control app called AVX and when in "wake up mode" (means it's listening for a special command to wake up and take your request) because it's constantly listening using Voice to Text, that beep goes off like every 20 seconds or so. VERY annoying. I'd like to get rid of it altogether or at least lower the volume on it.
Would love a non-root way to do it, but this might also be the thing that finally gets me to root my phone if that's what it takes so all methods suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!
Just wondering if anyone has a solution for this

New message tone with headphones plugged in even in silent mode

Hi.
This is probably the most annoying problem I've got with this phone. Basically, when your headphones are plugged in and you're trying to enjoy some music, receiving a text message results in a loud and clear "beep" tone. I understand it could be useful at times, for example when the screen is off and you actually care about any messages you may get, but most of the time it makes it pretty much impossible to listen to any kind of music at all, because the sound can be really disturbing.
The problem is that the tone can still be heard, even if you enable all "silent" modes and what not. That includes the "no disturb" mode as well, but it doesn't deliver any less disturbance, go figure.
I could think of two solutions to that, first would be to just go into the airplane mode, which is suboptimal for obvious reasons and it also won't work at all if you stream your music (when there are no WiFi networks nearby). The second thing I've yet to try is to set a silent audio file as the message tone to see if it removes the beep sound. I'll have to try it later.
Let me know guys what do you think about this matter and what other solutions come to your mind. Maybe there's a way to disable the feature in the settings somewhere, which I just wasn't able to find myself?

Automatically enable phone speaker when calling?

Hey folks,
is there any app, setting or S-Voice command that my phone automatically enables the speaker when I make/answer a call with my Gear S2?
I especially need this function while driving, so it'd be very beneficial if I didn't have to look for the speaker button ...
Did you check Tasker
I sure think Tasker can handle this, don't know if anyone tried.
Thanks for the hint.
I've just bought tasker but am completely confused. Any tip on how to set that up?

Some doubts

Hi all,
I’ve got three doubts:
When I am using Google Maps (either with or without Android Auto) and someone calls me, at first a heads up notification that doesn't cover the entire screen appears, but when I respond the call, then the entire screen is occupied by the dialer app, leaving me without visual GPS directions. This didn't happen with other smartphones using the Google dialer app. In fact, if I'm in a car, I can minimise the call so that I can continue seeing Google Maps, but it’s not possible to do when riding a motorcycle. Do you know if it's possible to answer a call but maintaining the call minimised? This problem doesn’t happen with Waze because it has an option to keep Waze always in the foreground, but Maps hasn’t got this option.
When I’m in a call and sound notifications are on, apps such as Telegram or a radio app I have, keep ringing even when you’re in a call, which is kind of annoying, especially when you’re listening to the radio and someone calls you and you have both the radio and the call running at the same time, disgusting. I’ve found no way to mute notifications during a call, just by using Do not disturb mode all the time (I've seen that Android Nougat automatically activates the Do not disturb mode during a call, but this doesn't happen in my Honor 6X), but then you have never sound. Do you know any way to fix it without needing to always use the Do not disturb mode?
I’ve set Google Play Music as the predetermined app for music instead of the EMUI music app. However, when I use the Bluetooth in my motorcycle helmet (Cardo Scala Rider Q1) and I push the button to play some music, sometimes the EMUI music app is launched instead of the Google Play Music app. It happens at random, there are no patterns, but it’s quite annoying. Any solution out there?
Best!
Sorry I have no idea...
