I'm from India I accidentally changed radio band to USA by dialing *#*#4636#*#* > network information > options > select radio band . Previously there was four radio band but now there's only two radio band (automatic and cellular 800mhz band , and when i try to select any one of these two bands it says SET UNSUCCESSFUL ) since i selected USA band. I lost the network of sim card there is no network. PLS help me.. I just wanted to use CDMA uim card and there was a option of CDMA network in preffered network type but CDMA sim was not detected by mobile that's why i done this mistake. But now i can't even use my GSM sim card. If Any radio file or rom or anyway can fix this so pls tell me..

complete noob! please help!
I received the OTA and upgraded the phone to ics. The phone is an unlocked(to accept any sim cards world wide) t-mobile sensation 4g. When I upgraded the phone, it had a Qatar telecom SIM card inside and it rebooted and connected to the mobile network. However, it doesnt want to do wifi connection! it doesn't list any wifi SSIDs to connect!!!!!
to test, i put my t-mobile usa sim card and the wifi works fine!!!! also, vodafone UK sim card works fine!! But, when I put Qatar telecom sim cards, the wifi doesnt want to work!!!! i tried my friend's qatar telecom SIM card to see if the problem is with my sim card, but that one too didn't allow me to connect to wifi. I tried without any SIM cards also and then too it didn't list any wifi access points!!!
I did factory resets 2 times already and that didn't help either.
i rebooted the phone and pressed the volume button down and the phone shows the following....

Yes they do. See Steve007 post in the development section.....it has the ROM and the RUU link.

but what I don't understand is when i put a different sim card, the wifi works! i can see full signal strength and connected to my SSID. is it any way connected to SIM card?

on my sensation xe, ive managed to upgrade the firmware to universal 3.33, s-off, root, flashed cyanomod/gapps. but i get no sim card - no service. ive tried *#*#4636#*#* and change to GSM which didnt change anything. IMEI is still the same as before flashing. everything else on the phone appears to work fine, apart from cant make calls/text/use mobile data...

What did you mean by "check mobile network and register with carrier " ? I've tried scanning for carriers, but it doesn't work due to 'no sim'.

So this seems to be an issue with albinoman887-pyramid ROM, not my SIM. I tried Bruce2728's latest CM10 build - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782009 and it works just fine, but would really like to get Jelly 4.2.2. No other ROM has ever given this 'no sim' error. Anything in build.props that may be missing?
Dear all, I have M8sd China telecom version. Flashed M8st Rom to try and working but no 4g. So tried pressing *#*#4636#*#* and selected USA Band. No signal detected. Factory reset and restored M8sd backup didn't help. Still without any signal. Please help!

I have enabled other band selection (other than USA and 800mhz) from the unlocking band in the Sony thread. Chosen Euro band and is working normally now.

I bought HTC One E8 (M8SD) China Telecom version dual SIM dual standby(GSM/GSM and CDMA/GSM) and I try to use it on Yemen SIM2 is working well on GSM Band 900MHz
but the SIM1 is locked or something like that when using Chinese stock ROM it gave error when the sim1 is plugged "Please insert CT 4G UIM" and when installing
Cooked ROM based on HTC One M8 Dual Sim (GSM/GSM) with stock baseband and using the steps on Unlock all bands of your Qualcomm device by changing the NV 1877 value to 3670787 both SIM1 and SIM2 working well on GSM Band at the same time
but CDMA is not working on SIM1,So I appreciate someone advice me to make CDMA working on SIM1.

Hi, not sure about CDMA. but i unlock gsm using the following adb command. you can try if it works for cdma:
adb shell

setprop persist.radio.simlock.enable 0
reboot your device
Btw, is your phone working with lte in your country using the cooked rom base on m8 and unlock band method?

I already tried to install custom rom but i only found GSM - GSM rom and they are working both sim cards GSM but no CDMA - GSM rom till now only the stock rom and I am asking if I will found rom CDMA - GSM or another way to hack the stock rom please see the attached images to see the error message with stock rom.

I receive the same msg as yours. But I think the notification is for 4g card. That's why I could not connect to 4G network. Didn't know that CDMA network could not connect as well. Couldn't help anymore if you've tried. Think CT is blocking other card inserted to slot 1. Maybe need someone that can disable the check on the sim card slot 1 to bring us forward. Sigh...

Did installing one M8 Dual sim rom enables 4g ...I don't use CDMA so will this enable me to get 4g on one e8

I am from asia region. And i am using sprint radio.img
I try lot's of ruu. No luck.
I badly need 3g network :'(
I also try to edit band with nv editor, cdma tools... no no no luck.
