How to enable CDMA/Evdo bands on SIM1 for my HTC One E8 china Telecom versiom

I bought HTC One E8 (M8SD) China Telecom version dual SIM dual standby(GSM/GSM and CDMA/GSM) and I try to use it on Yemen SIM2 is working well on GSM Band 900MHz
but the SIM1 is locked or something like that when using Chinese stock ROM it gave error when the sim1 is plugged "Please insert CT 4G UIM" and when installing
Cooked ROM based on HTC One M8 Dual Sim (GSM/GSM) with stock baseband and using the steps on Unlock all bands of your Qualcomm device by changing the NV 1877 value to 3670787 both SIM1 and SIM2 working well on GSM Band at the same time
but CDMA is not working on SIM1,So I appreciate someone advice me to make CDMA working on SIM1.
Network Supported by Phone:
Dual Sim Slot (CDMA+GSM) , NANO SIM CARD
UIM1:
FDD LTE: 1800MHz / 2100MHz
TD-LTE: 2600MHz; EVDO: 800MHz
GSM: 1900MHz / 1800MHz / 900MHz / 850MHz (only international roaming)
WCDMA: (only when international roaming) 850MHz / 1900MHz / 2100MHz
SIM2: GSM : 850MHz / 900MHz / 1800MHz / 1900MHz
Network Supported in my Country:
CDMA EVDO: 800MHz
GSM 900MHz

Hi, not sure about CDMA. but i unlock gsm using the following adb command. you can try if it works for cdma:
adb shell
su
setprop persist.radio.simlock.enable 0
reboot your device
Btw, is your phone working with lte in your country using the cooked rom base on m8 and unlock band method?

I already tried to install custom rom but i only found GSM - GSM rom and they are working both sim cards GSM but no CDMA - GSM rom till now only the stock rom and I am asking if I will found rom CDMA - GSM or another way to hack the stock rom please see the attached images to see the error message with stock rom.

I receive the same msg as yours. But I think the notification is for 4g card. That's why I could not connect to 4G network. Didn't know that CDMA network could not connect as well. Couldn't help anymore if you've tried. Think CT is blocking other card inserted to slot 1. Maybe need someone that can disable the check on the sim card slot 1 to bring us forward. Sigh...

EDIT: Oh got it yours already had CDMA support officially.

Did installing one M8 Dual sim rom enables 4g ...I don't use CDMA so will this enable me to get 4g on one e8

[Q] China Unicom 3G not working CM12OS

Hi everyone,
I bought my OPO in China last december and I have China Unicom as Service Provider.
I have correctly installed offical CM12OS, but the 3G network is not recognized by the modem of the ROM.It goes only on the 2G Network.
It is the same that happened with CM11s, In that case I had to flash a modem("signed_modem_34g.zip") into the Rom and then it worked.
I tried flashing "signed_modem_34g.zip" on CM12S but I was stucked in the bootloop.
What could I do now to make the 3G working again?

S6 Edge At&t unlocked No update and LTE signal

Sir I purchased a new unlocked S6 Edge ( 925A) at&t device from abroad to use in india.
The guy told it's fully unlocked and it support any sim card. Buy when I checked with Indian Sims I am getting only 2g signals .. I am not getting 3G and 4g signals..
When I checked for network selection mode settings it's missing in the settings.
No software OTA update is available. . I think it's also disabled.. when I checked the device status it is in "custom"..
So if I flash a stock ROM with Odin will it lock again ?
Do I need to unlock it again.. ??

First check the model from bootloader, if its actually a att variant then you can flash a stock rom too make it work as normal, but if its some other variant then get back to this thread again.

Its surely an at&t Variant of Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE.. its model number is 925A.. which is only available for ATT..
Its baseband version is G925AUCU1AOCE
I purchased this phone as fully unlocked from UAE but in india when i start to use it i came to know that its not taking 3G and 4G signals .. but 2g Signal and Data services are working fine..
I got the phone in rooted condition without any Boot animation of At&t. Since its rooted i am not getting any official updates.
I am also facing many software bugs.. from different apps..
So really want to flash the phone with a new stock rom for using it..
I have some doubts about it please clear it..
1) if i flash it with an official att stock rom will it lock again for att network ?
2) can i remove the att boot animation after flashing with stock rom ?

Providers in India use bands 3, 40, and 41 for LTE. The AT&T S6 Edge is only compatible with band 3.
I doubt you'd be able to flash a different ROM, and even if you could, you still wouldn't have compatibility with bands 40 or 41.

Firstly Thanks for your reply.. i know that S6 Edge at&t only support Band 3 LTE cuz it's a FDD LTE supported device.. in my country here providers are using both TDD & FDD LTE bands for LTE..
In my region "Kerala" at presently all the providers are using Band 3 which is compatible will my phone. But i am not receiving any LTE and 3G signals..
My friends have different unlocked phones from T-Mobile they are not facing any problem..
I am still doubt the flashing ROM.. i am going to flash the stock rom for at&t.. it's the only official rom available for my device.

It could be an APN issue. Make sure the settings are the same as your friends are using. Beyond that, I have no idea.

Nothing Wrong with the APN.. cuz i am using 2G data without any problems.
We have same APN for all 2G ,3G & 4G..
I think its the problem with my software..
I can't switch between LTE/WCDMA/2G because that network mode selection option is disabled or not available..
I am compelled to flash a new Rom..
I don't have any other options.
I own a good phone but i can't use it . Really sad about it..

I have my s6 Edge in Fully unlocked condition with Root Access also..i purchased it as unlocked from Dubai. But i cant find any Network Selection mode in my settings. Itz a ATT variant with model number 925A. The device is not taking 4G signals in india. Also there is no Network selection option in the settings to toggle between 3g & 4G..

Please Help: MIMax Network disappears after selecting USA Band.

I have MImax pro 3gb/64gb but I mistakenly selected USA Band on the network and since then network disappears from my phone.
I have tried flashing a fastboot of old miui version 8.1.4 and now flashed back to the latest MIUI 8.2.0 yet the radio band is yet to receive signal. Although sim card directory is showing.
How can I fix this please?

S7 (SM-G930A). Network problems

Hi. A friend brought me an S7 (AT&T variant) with the following problems.
Network doesn't work over 2g (only edge connection)
The firmware version was incorrect (showing SM-G930F)
We are in Argentina*
I've flashed a oreo firmware for g930u variant with G930UUEU4CRG2 baseband
Thw phone works well, but the network problem persist, only have 2g (edge) internet.
Calls and sms works, apn settings are correct
Any idea?

USA network bands, phone will never be fully compatible with Argentina network.

Then why 2g works and 3g no? Both use 850/1900mhz (B2 and B5 bands)
