OK, my problem is bigger than this. I can get to the CMONEX page but no further; just hangs there. ALSO, active sync won't connect; tries to but gives up.
The problem? I installed a custom ROM off ppcgeeks.com; it seemed to work well, then it started doing funny things, like not allowing me to access pages; giving me errors messages, etc. I did a soft reset; it hung on the 1st page showing Touch Diamond. Also, won't sync. Did a hard reset (the only way that works for me is to soft reset, quickly press power + vol down while flipping the phone over until the Cmonex page comes up).
Phone hangs there; can't sync it with PC (xppro) anymore (no problems before).
QUESTION: is my phone effed?
Hi everyone, in advance i'm sorry for my weak English...
ENG: in my HTC One X i have installed ROM Android Revolution HD and i wanted to change it to stock ROM using RUU. When I wanna relock bootloader being in HBoot in Fastboot USB mode, tapping command "fastboot oem lock" and "fastboot erase cache" then my phone restarts and shows inscription "HTC" on a white background. under the inscritpion shows red "This build is for development purposes only do not distribute outside of htc without written permission. Failure to comply may lead to legal action." and back to the HBoot menu. Instead "*** UNLOCKED ***" on pink frame is *** RELOCKED *** *** Security Warning *** and when i choose "Power Down" in HBoot menu is happened the same thing - white background with inscription "HTC" and red inscription and back to the hboot menu. What's the problem? any suggestions?
PL: w moim HTC One X mam ROM Android Revolution HD i chciałem przejść z niego na stockowy korzystając z poradnika zamieszczonego tutaj na forum. Wszystko jest w porządku do momentu próby zablokowania bootloadera, wpisując komende "fastboot oem lock" oraz próbując zablokować go poprzez One X All In One Kit. This build is for development purposes only do not distribute outside of htc without written permission. Failure to comply may lead to legal action.", po czym znowu mnie wywala do HBoot menu. i w kółko to samo, dopiero odblokowanie bootloadera pozwala wrócić do ROMu w normalny sposób.
You're in the wrong forum, you have the HTC One X (Endeavoru) and this is the HTC One XL (Evita) forum.

Hello, I have rooted my device using this tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/one-a9s/how-to/root-htc-a9s-magisk-t3680322 and after some time i decided to unroot and i didnt know how to unroot so i read in internet and i uninstalled magisk manager using the option uninstall completely and it said that it will reboot in 5 second. After this i cant boot my phone, when i power it up it vibrates and shows htc logo the <orange state> above it and red text below the htc logo and after like 5-10 second it boots up again and again. I don't know what to do, please help me. Sorry for my english, i'm polish.
I think it's easy just flash stock rom or flash boot. Stock rom and all info you can find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/one-a9s/how-to/stock-signed-ruu-2pwdimge36mlul-1-01-t3535461

Just flash your stock ROM and stock recovery back, you should always do a backup before attempting to flash anything.

How can i flash it without PC !!!!
Turn off the device then press volume up while connecting the device to your PC. It should boot to fastboot, if it doesn't then it's most probably that you flashed the wrong boot image or didn't follow whichever guide you were following precisely.
If that's is the case then you can follow this guide to solve your bootloop.
Briefly:
Turn off your phone for at least 10 mins.
Restart your phone into recovery either by volume down - power button combination or volume down usb connection combination.
Select wipe data/factory reset.
If you have custom recovery then try wiping dalvik cache before wiping all data.
Wiping data doesn't remove your custom ROM nor remove your custom recovery. But it will remove root.
Never panic while doing anything to your device. There is always a solution to whichever problem you may face.
Lastly should you find it difficult to do anything of the above mentioned then take your device to a service center.

Thank you for your answer, but the problem that i can't turn off the phone even when i use button combination; it's always rebooting until it get discharged
Do you have any other way to get to the recovery page or to stop this rebooting !
You can follow this thread.
One of the posts there says:
Hold Vol down and power for soft reboot. As soon as the screen goes off to reboot quickly switch to recovery combo (bixby + up + power) it should boot to recovery

Your recovery combination should be volume up + power.
Another says:
I managed to fix my phone. After leaving it for 24 hours the battery was fully drained. After charging again i could boot to twrp and restore my nandroid backup.

Here you can also drain the phone and leave it, then press volume up while connecting the usb.
Either of them should work with your situation, as they both have the same circumstances as yours.
The main point of what I just said, is to either get your phone to soft reboot or completely drain the phone from charge and try booting to recovery again.

Unfortunately friend you have no more options left. You have to send it to an authorized service center.
They will fix this issue for you, leave this matter to the professionals and don't further complicate things by messing with your device unnecessarily.

i had that exact same problem. what you need to do is open up the back and disconnect the battery. then i hope you have all its usb drivers installed, if not install them. then you need to use this https://github.com/MTK-bypass/bypass_utility you can also look at some guides on youtube on how to set everything up as the github guide aint all that specific. then run that main.py and while holding, if i remember correctly, volume down connect the phone without battery being connected. after some tries it should say sth along the lines of protection disabled or sth and then without disconnecting flash your rom using sp flash tool. that worked for me. and also dont be put off if that bypass tool doesnt work on the first try. it took me like atleast 30 tries to get it working.
hope it helps

Hi , i tried everything but nothing works.
So i took my infinix to the after sale service and they repaired my phone.
It's the safest way.
Good luck

I F*** my system trying to do TWRP with the wrong ROM , unfortunately I ended up killing "Boot.img" and "Recovery.img". I'm a few weeks looking for help from any UNBRICK, but that doesn't happen.
Finally, I understand that there really is no way to proceed without opening the back and removing the battery plug.
# I'm thinking about the best way to proceed with this, all I did was this:
All drivers mtk
SP drivers
bypass
brom.bat
libUSB (MediaTek_USB_Port)
OPPO
python
it's all unlocked, but i didn't root. I downloaded firmware: X687-H851D-Q-OP-210705V513
"SWD AfterSales" seems to work, however SP Flash Tool is universal...
KEEP CALM!
Spoiler: End happy :)
[PT-BR]: language in portuguese... [I ask someone to translate to English, thank you]
UnBrick do iz8
Leia tudo antes de sair fazendo!
Você vai precisar instalar algumas coisa no seu Pc, é simples e rapidinho;
- All drivers mtk
- SP drivers
- bypass (brom.bat)
- libUSB (MediaTek_USB_Port)
Continuando...
SEMPRE "Download Only", SEMPRE✓
Então veja a mágica acontecer!
