I am trying to order an extra battery for P2M when I place an order, but I can not find out which of the two 3000 mah batteries fits P2M on Gionee India website.
Can someone please tell me which battery fits P2M? On Gionee India, they have GPAD G2 (currently available) and L800 (unavailable), which are both rated for 3000 mah.
Thanks a bunch!!

I'm looking to buy a phone, and have settled on the 6577 processor. There are tonnes of phones with this processor, but I'm looking for one with good build+1GB RAM (As opposed to 512MB in most).
After quite a lot of research, these two phones seem to be the most popular: JY G3, ThL W3 dual core (ThL W3+) and UMI X1.
Can I have your views on both these phones. Or any other mtk6577 phone, with 1GB RAM and preferably not a clone. Among the three listed above, JY G3 has the biggest (2750mAh) battery, while the ThL W3+ (2000mAh) and UMI X1 (1750mAh) have significantly smaller batteries. It'll be great if someone can speak of the difference these different batteries will make. I hope to get around 12-14 hours of runtime. Been using an LG Optimus One since more than a year and it still does this with its 1500mAh battery. I don't know how much difference the added dual sim functionality and the much higher resolution (1280x720) will make.
Tbh I like the ThL most among the three.
Looking forward to replies. Thanks!
Only one of three phones is in stock now (tHL W3+) , Jiayu G3 & UMI X1 are still for pre order.
A month ago I look in to article for Jiayu G3 and when I saw the specification I decide to buy it*
But after the whole saga about Jiayu G3 with all delays and quality problems I changed my choice on tHL W3+
Instead lack of Gorilla glass and a little low but still enough power battery,
I think that W3+ is perfect choice.
Also I saw pictures and video clips shooted by Jiayu G3 that look worst.
W3+ camera shoot very good.
Also tHL W3+ have big support in this Russian forum > http://forum.china-iphone.ru/viewforum.php?f=74
Good luck with your choice. :good:
Yes, the ThL is insanely popular at China-iPhone. Thanks for your views!
I placed an order for the ThL yesterday, expect it to be here by Thursday

Guys I'm planning on buying a new phone within 270$ ( 16000 INR ). I'm kind of confused as to what to buy. Kindly help me out.
I only care about the gaming and the looks of the device. And obviously 2 GB RAM is required for smooth gaming.
Here are some of the devices I've thought of buying:
1> ZTE Nubia Z5S mini
I like the jet black kind of screen ( like in Oppo Find 5/7 ) and a rubberized non-plastic back and I'm not sure if this phone has that. I searched around and couldn't find any. Plus I would like to get some review about ZTE warranty as I live in India. There is a ZTE service center in my city but it's ZTE India and this phone has not yet reached the Indian market. Are their customer service any good?
2> iOcean X7S
This phone looks gorgeous. I prefer this over the X8 because it is 5 inch ( 5.7 is too big ). But the problem is that it has Mali-450MP4 GPU which is not exactly good for the price. Plus I have no idea about iOcean service centers.
3> Gionee E7 mini or maybe some Indian Brand octa core device
Almost the same spec as iOcean X7S but couldn't find it anywhere in Black. But then there are service centers in India. So warranty is not a headache.
I really want to buy the Nubia Z5S but cannot decide on it until I get a review from customers who have actually used it. Please help me decide. Thank you. :fingers-crossed:
Hi
i need to replce my old At&t phone, im looking for a good reliable chinese phone. my budget is only $100 (i know its not much but i do not want a fast processor/heavy games). I do want it to be durable, good design, good battery (atleast 2 days) and good wifi.
im trying to decide beween HTM m3 phone and Doogee DG2014 (but only 1750 mah battery).
i really liked the Doogee design and how slim it is but did not liked the battery capacity.
If i go with HTM m3 would that be a good choice?
also any ROMs available? whats the cons and pros ? anyone used it?
HTM M3 Mi3 1.3 Ghz MTK6572 5inch 3G/DUAL SIM
here is a youtube video i found

Smartphones or powerbanks that can make calls?
I recently reviewed a new device from Oukitel, the new k6000 , where the main highlight is the huge battery: 6000 mAH.
This device has a big battery but it also packs some other nice features such as good cameras and its running android 5.1.
I also hear about a new model called k10000 that will packs a 10000 mAH battery. I also saw a video where this k10000 has an OTG function: Cook Noodles.
So my main question is: where will this end?
2000000 mAH smartphones?
Or smartphones that are powerbanks?
Or powerbanks that makes calls?
Hi guys,
I'm planning to replace my old and beloved Redmi 4 Prime with the POCO X3.
I've read that there is a version (only India???) of this phone where the NFC is replaced with a bigger battery, 6000mAh against the NFC 5160mAh.
Do you know if this version is available for purchase in Europe? or shippable to Europe, I live in Italy.
Do you think this capacity difference provide an actual improvement on the time-without-charging of this smartphone? or is it negligible?
Thank you for your help

Hello!
Yes the Indian version of the X3 (codenamed: KARNA) does come with a larger 6000mAh battery. I'm unsure if it's available for purchase within Europe, maybe you'd need to do some logistical gymnastics in order to purchase it from India and have it shipped to Italy. You can check Flipkart.com which sells it within India and see if there's any option for shipping outside of India.
I'm on a Poco global chat on telegram and users do get a slightly better battery life, but it seems out of the box MIUI still needs to be optimized as no one is really raving too much about a greater battery life.
You should really check the bands available with your carrier before doing so, idk for Italy but there in France you pretty much wouldn't have any 4G because the India varient miss a lot of bands compared to global one.
anyone know which bands come witht he indian version

I get 13.5 hours SOT on my Indian Variant POCO X3. I can tell you for sure that this makes a difference compared to a phone that's 4000+ MaH as I would get around 8-9 hours on those phones.
As far as moving from the NFC to Indian variant (900+ MaH) you'll get at best an hour or two of additional SOT so it's completely up to you to decide whether you want the convenience and fast updates of NFC+Europe ROM or you want a bigger battery and 2+ GB RAM.

Check my post in the Screen On Time section of XDA. I have posted tips and hidden settings of Poco X3 to extend battery life.
