Already purchased two of these from another seller on ebay (at a cheaper price).
Problem is they provide no protection for the top & bottom of phone.

I decided to purchase a Case Mate from Play.com. They are more expensive but provide the best protection. They are on sale on ebay for £24.95 but Play are selling them for £14.99.

the Tough case is really good for protection
but a bit uncomfy when inside your pants pockets
the other cases have a better feel

i just found this and it seems far better as it protect all around the phone but its for the vibrant only and in the U.S or canada only

That seems good, but I don't see whats with the extra cover thingy that the others don't have? Will it even fit?

I just got told more stock is coming in even though he has only sold 3 so far

I believe he orders directly from the manufacturers, not G market.
He told me to ask what price in pounds would everyone be willing to pay for these mesh cases and possible the SGP slider cases?

Anyone got any more experience of the Cae-Mate Tough Case? Looks like the kind of thing I need (I'm notoriously cack-handed!) but worried it bulks the phone out too much. Are they pocketable (jeans) or are you resigned to jacket pockets and manbags only?

I have bought the black one - very good quality - really recommend to all!

I bought a red one of these for a slightly different look in actual life the red colour is a metalic cherry red not the bright red in the pic. Get 2 free screen protectors as well which is cool.

JUST GOT one of these from ebay. The quality of the material is excellent.
but they have 2 major flaws preventing them to be useful
1)The surface of this case is smooth , so still has difficulty holding the phone.
2)keeping this phone on the back on table, you will miss most calls, as the speaker is almost completely covered in this position.
if these two flaws are corrected we have a killer case.

[Q] battery cover and lower cover

So I just received my replacement battery cover and noticed something off. what I'm curious to know is.... Is black the original color of these pieces and over time they've turned to a grayish or what?

That definitely looks darker than a normal Nexus one case. Looks pretty sweet too

oh yeah i think it looks much better too. i just cant find my camera right now to take a pic of it on the phone.

Probably not OEM but it looks great, I just picked up a white battery/antenna cover that isn't oem but also looks great

Okay, I'm planning on ordering the HOS from Clove UK, but unlike all the other sites, there happens to be only one listing for it.
I want the Black MAO one, the pictures on the site show a black model but I'm still a little paranoid about it.
Anybody else that ordered from Clove? Which one did you get?

Just contact them (call/mail) to confirm its black. If its not - tell them go get one

I bought my One S from Clove. I emailed them before buying it to confirm the colour, and that the black one is the MAO finish (got confused by some of the previews I had been reading). They were quite helpful, and were very responsive over Twitter

So, just to be totally clear, Clove has the black MAO? I havent received a reply from them and my patience is running thin.
I can't wait to get it now. I had such a hard time deciding between X or S it almost drove me to an existential crisis.

Cheapest price in the UK?

I have finally made my decision as to which tablet to buy - yep you guessed it the TF300T. It's exactly what I am after in terms of spec/price. I was hoping for some advice as to the best place to buy from (I am in the UK). Not fussed about the dock so hopefully I can find one cheaper without? Ideally the white one but from what I can tell it's not readily available here. Any suggestions?

Comet are currently doing all colours for £389.99 if you buy online. Plus you get 3.5% quidco which is like £12.00 back :good:

Thanks, I have also found it for £330 delivered from Pixmania (most likely be an EU version, not a problem for me becasue the first thing I will be doing is unlocking it!), which is for the tablet only, no dock. I really don't see myself using the dock all that much in any case.
edit: Should have mentioned it is the blue version.

Good price but in my opinion the dock is worth the extra £50, if anything for the fact it acts as a stand and the extended battery, plus the fact of the expansion ports.

Yep, and I rekon youd get £80-100 on ebay for the dock which in turn would make the tablet cheaper

Nice! Ordered, and to think I started with a budget of £250 for a Galaxy Tab 2 !!

I bought mine from pixmania too. Paid about 380 I think but got 12 quid off through quidco.
The dock is definitely worth it IMHO. The extra battery, ports and the fact that it acts like a case when you aren't using the tablet are great. You'll be surprised.

I went for white in the end. I am still not sure I did the right thing as I doubt I will use the dock. I just keep having that feeling that maybe I should of got the Tab 2 10.1 for £250. I'll probably change my mind once it comes.
Is the screen really as dim as people say in reviews?

The screen is a little dim yes. But to be honest if you don't want to use it outdoors then it shouldn't be an issue. The only time i have wanted a brighter screen is in work as for some reason the fluorescent lights in my office make the screen a little hard to see, but nothing I can't live with. It has so much going for it that I can live with a slightly dim screen. Obviously ymmv.

I played with one in a Comet store and as a result I have cancelled my order. It is a great tablet and I can see the merits of having a keyboard however once the keyboard is attached it's almost the same weight as my 11" Lenovo. I can't see myself choosing it over that. I think for some this would be a great device but for me I found the screen lacking a little and a little heavy.
It's a great tablet but just not for me. Shame.

Do people think there's going to be a price drop on the tf300 after the tf700 is released in the uk on the 31st of August?
Although it seems that only Amazon are going to stock it.

Anyone here going to customize their Moto G? Ill probably pick one up if the camera reviews are at least decent.

I ordered one myself. Black front, White Rear, light chrome accents. I can't wait to try it out! The estimate claims it'll be here by or before August 5th which is next Wednesday.

Also just ordered one for my son. August 5th deliver. 16gb model. Wife and I both have 2013 Moto X devices we did from Moto Maker and we love them.

It does seem hard to justify such price differences. Higher taxes????

The 16 gig one will be $220 before taxes here in the US.

So for Sprint, it says prepaid. I am guessing buying from Motomaker, there is still no chance of activating on sprint postpaid. Does anyone know?

I know with the 1st gen Moto G, if you ordered it from Motorola it was the GSM version. You had to get the CDMA version from the retailers selling them (Boost, Verizon prepaid, etc). I guess that things could change for the 3rd gen.

Ordered 16gb black on black with champagne accent USA

All white 2/16 with the stupid chrome accent, which i will cover with something and hide under the case cutout, if i keep this phone. I prefer the entire back covered with cutouts only for camera and flash. No need for useless accents and dimples. Both 1/8 and 2/16 overpriced. $235.39 with tax.

I can't say that I've found too many other contract free, brand new, unlocked phones with similar specs for less than $179..

Overpriced? Compared to what exactly? The Moto G 3rd gen is probably one of the best values available today.

I am ditching my Note 4 for the 2015 G. This will be my first mid-range phone in years. Anxious to see how it handles.

ordered mine on launch day, 16/2 white front, navy back champagne accents. it shipped out yesterday night and will be here tuesday!
it's a in between device for me as i wait for the 2015 Moto X, but i'm curious as well to see how it handles. i game, but not a ton and can lay off for a couple months. i'm mostly concerned with daily tasks (web browsing, email, messaging, facebook) and jumping between those tasks.
it's going to be my first non-flagship device as well

I`m moved form Xperia Z3 compact to Moto G 3rd gen, just to test a little bit and maybe this will by my daily phone.
