I would recommend clearprotector as they use same material with same lifetime
warranty but for less $$ ( I used both)
Their screen protector will be available within 2 weeks
We arent sending any protectors out until we have the actual desire ones in stock. Everyone who has purchased one already will receive an update e-mail on Monday and we will add a pre order notice to the site with expected delivery date. We have already received notification that the desire specific protector is in production and the turnaround from Zagg is usually very quick.

Thanks for the tip. I got a 40% off code. Now trying to decide between ordering the full body or the maximum coverage option. They are the same price so surely going maximum coverage is more sensible? Are the front and back pieces the same in both kits?

Anyone got any more experience of the Cae-Mate Tough Case? Looks like the kind of thing I need (I'm notoriously cack-handed!) but worried it bulks the phone out too much. Are they pocketable (jeans) or are you resigned to jacket pockets and manbags only?

JUST GOT one of these from ebay. The quality of the material is excellent.
but they have 2 major flaws preventing them to be useful
1)The surface of this case is smooth , so still has difficulty holding the phone.
2)keeping this phone on the back on table, you will miss most calls, as the speaker is almost completely covered in this position.
if these two flaws are corrected we have a killer case.

I'm faced with the same dilemma few days ago. Went to a store and played around with the display unit I thought its SILVER, then I asked regarding when silver will arrive non of the salesperson manage to give me any convincing answers. So I pointed out why was there a silver display unit when there's no plans to bring the colour in, that's when I found out I've been fondling with the gold unit.
Came back to the store a few times to take a look at it and I'm convinced its actually a nice colour, gold in certain lighting conditions and appearing slightly silver sometimes. Decide to just skip silver and preorder the gold instead, the free Gear VR is just too enticing to give up.

Right. I wanted gold so I went to look at it in the store and actually was convinced they didn't carry the gold one because it looks so damn silver. The gold only looks gold in certain light. The rest of the time the damn thing is silver. So if your pissed about not getting the silver option in your country, well, you kind of did.
This thread has "first-world problems" written all over it. It's amazing how much angst the color of a phone can cause in this generation.

I saw a gold one in person, it looks very ugly because of the glass on top of it, it is very shiny and the golden shade is not very well chosen. I suspect (from the videos I have seen) that the silver is also too shiny and the glass on top makes it worse. I think black (or white) is best for long-term ownership. The silver should have been a matte subdued shade but it is not.
Anyone tried and buy F8332 model from ebay? Their price seems a bit cheaper than amazon. The seller also includes free shipping.

I bought the Xperia Z2 from eBay. It was 10K less then on Amazon (INR).
So basically, these devices are international variants, brought from international markets such as China & sold in your country, the phone is absolutely fine but you might get the charger of some different country. Also, you might not get manufacturer warranty but sellers warranty, which means if anything goes wrong, you cannot take your device to Sony & raise a claim, you'll have to return it to the eBay seller & he'll hook you up with a replacement.
The best part was
When i bought the Z2, I received model version D6503 which hat LTE/4G whereas the Z2 available in India was with the model version D6502, which did not support LTE/4G.,
I got my phone from here and got it within two days.

Yeah. It's a bit narrow and due to the curved glass it lifts on the edges no matter how much I press down on it.
Another member posted in another thread of a 3D glass screen protector. I might wanna give that a shot. But I might also just wait till the SCTF10 case is available on eBay.

I've been looking at that seller as it's much cheaper than buying in Australia ($999 AUD for Forest Blue).
My main concern is the warranty and stuff, which seems non-existant on (international) phones for Sony.
Can you tell me a bit more about how the item was packaged / gifts received / safe to buy?

I'm from Melbourne and I bought mine from an eBay seller called "buybuybox" for 807 AUD delivered. It only took 3 business days from order to arrival on my desk. No complaints so far.

Lol i read the warranty is for 12 month and can be increased to 24 month with optional overpriced
However I think 12 month is the most convenient given that in general offers them the producer.
For what it's worth, I just bought an XZ from the seller tropical_mobile on eBay on Tuesday, and it showed up today from Singapore.
Compared with the US retail version, the only differences I noticed were that the box was sealed, included some cheap earbuds, a screen protector that doesn't give full coverage, and the power adapter is gigantic.
As for customs, there wasn't a declaration form anywhere on my package.

Yes. It was part of the built-in setup process. Though in fairness, I had also flashed the generic UK ROM on a US phone, and the reader worked just fine there, too.
Anyway, when the phone first booted, there were some messages in what I presume to be Mandarin. I have no idea what they said, and I don't remember the US version doing that out of the box. Once you tap through them, you get the option to change the language, and it was pretty much smooth sailing from there.
Anyone from the UK bought the dual XZ from the Uk comment on decent sellers?

Nope, I know that. Called Amazon. I get a € 100 discount for that. Tried factory mode and tested everything. Device looks as new and is A6003. IMEI sticker, the other sticker with the lash and case are missing though.
I assume someone unboxed it, sent it back and Amazon or OnePlus repackaged it, sealed it and sold it. The device is in good shape and I pay the same as with a Warehouse Deal. So I'll keep it.
Amazon has done something similar with the Nintendo 3DS XL as some had IPS display panels instead of VA. People kept sending it back like crazy to get an IPS panel and Amazon started selling non-sealed devices as new.
Just for your information if anybody has the same issue as I do. Contact Amazon, they will offer you a discount.

You can find an IMEI check websites where you could get some info on history of your device, manufacturing and shipping dates etc..., also, what is the IMEI SV(software version) number on your phone, is it 01, 02 or higher?
