There's some weird thing going on my phone....
Some pop-ads keep appearing even on system UI...
When i see on recent tabs, i found the culprit- 'android.systemUI'.....
The ads are really annoying and i found that the package name of 'android.systemUI' is same as an app which i have uninstalled.....
Can someone plzz help me to stop the ads plzzz....
You can see the screenshot which also mentions it's package name...
Thnks in advance...

According to AVG "com.swiping.whale" is active malware.

Maybe you installed something from outside the playstore.
Google "com.swiping.whale" for more info.
Maybe you could try the avg antivirus free app from the playstore to get rid of it.
Mike
Okk...will give a try...
Thnx

you could try logcat and figgure out what package it is refring to
It's adware caused by an app you previously installed. Go to the market and download "AirPush Detector" and run it. It will scan your installed apps for the ones causing the adware notifications.
Darn, I was gonna say that too. I think it's something that devs put into their apps instead of ads in their actual apps.
Ads-on works well to get rid of the offender. I know wootwatcher has push notifications in it. Beware these are popping up more and more and adfree type apps that alter host files are failing to block them.
small envelope logo on my notification bar
I received this envelope on my notification bar and it isn't my gmail, when i scrolled down my status bar i saw the envelope and had some chinese words. is this an ad or spam? how would i solve this annoyance guys? Thanks whom ever can help. Peace!

Addons Detector is a nice compliment to Airpush Detector.
At some point I downloaded an app or a game where ever since then I get crap like this (white arrow pointing at it in the imgur pic) in the notifications bar. It's not always this exact thing. Anyone seen this and how do I get rid of it?

Some apps use this method of sending spam to you. I absolutely hate it.
There is an app on the app store called "Airpush Detector" that can help you find apps that are doing this.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brosmike.airpushdetector&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDMsImNvbS5icm9zbWlrZS5haXJwdXNoZGV0ZWN0b3IiXQ..
There is probably more out there, maybe even better, but this is the only one I personally know of. Find the app giving you these ads and get rid of it.

Awesome!! - that was it (hopefully). It found a game called Juminja Premium using Airpush. Thank you.
since updating my adobe apps I've started gettting irritating junk notifications, not email or text, in the form of a star on the notifications bar.
i have checked running apps etc... but cannot see how to stop these pests.
anyone know how i turn it off?
thanks
david
Hi yes, try ad blocker, or ad away, both apps are designed to stop those ads. I use ad away, it works good. Or you can find out which app is the cause and delete it. But if you don't know , use the ad blocking app. It's easy to use and works well. Hope this is helpful. Best wishes

It sounds like you're describing airpush ads coming from some free app or game. Get Airpush Detector or another similar app off the Play store to find the culprit and uninstall it.
thanks guys.
traced it to 'flash open view' or something like that.
had reinstalled my apps and must have put this on by mistake instad of flash 11
now sorted
Hello everyone, I have recently started to see ads on my phone, they appear every time I want to unlock my apps using pattern unlock.
I have tried using Ad detector apps but found nothing.
I thought the culprit was Nova Launcher, but it isn't.
Can someone please help me identify the app that can cause this?
Your input will be much appreciated.
I have attached images of the ads I'm facing so you have a better understanding.

It looks like your problem is in clean master... Are the ads in any other apps/places? If it's only in clean master, then it's there way of making money, so either ignore the ads, uninstall the app or if you're root, install adaway to get rid of almost every ads on your device (exept youtube ads)
Don't forget to thank me if I was helpful

Hello, Thank you for your input. As you mentioned, It was indeed Clean Master causing the trash to appear on my screen. It has now been removed and the issue is now solved.

Recently there were a folder created automatically in the internal memory called "Walkfree"
It has some downloaded apk(s) without my knowledge and after I delete it, it appears again and again and download more and more apk.
How can I stop it please the internet in my country is really slow and this folder is killing it.
Note: I'm not the only one a friend of mine has Xperia p with the same problem
If anyone has an idea please share it
And thanks in advance.
check your installed apps for any suspicious application that you might not have installed yourself. Most probably there will be one like mobogenie or some other.

There are some apps on play store that allow you to do so. Search for 'firewall' and you'll find some that work on non rooted devices too.
