It usually creates an additional folder, where the images get stored.
If you can't see them trough album, then try File commander-pictures.
They should show somewhere there.
Have you tried restarting the phone?
Try to download an additional galery app from playstore.
If they are still not displayed, then just doa factory reset on the phone, of course backup any important data before that and then see what happens. I've never heard of something like that, but it might just be a glitch.

Try a different gallery app like Quickpic

[Q] Good backup solution for any WP7 Phone/Rom

Hello Guys,
I'm searching a good tool which is able to create a full backup of my HTC HD7 with custom rom because I wanna change/upgrade it (that means: SMS, APPs, Savegames, ...). I've got the "WP7 AppBackUp" but I'm not really happy with that. Sometimes I got some issues and my backup is damaged. I've checked some threads but I found nothing so maybe anyone can help me ;-)
greets,
Pat

Hello Pat
To save sms and contacts you can use SMSBackup, you find it in this forum.
To save applications' datas, I used WPV App Data Backup, and I think it works fine.
To reinstall the application without stressing too much, you can find in Marketplace Reinstaller: it connects to your win live ID, reads the apps list and give you the opportunity to choose which one you want to reinstall...
But for savegames, I also searched for something but I didn't find anything...
If I remember well, this is something related to the Game developer...
Hope it can be usefull

But, if I understand well what's written in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20079023&postcount=13, it also makes a backup of the OS.
So if you change ROM or update the present one, when you restore, you will go back to your phone's "previous situation"...
So I think in this case it's not usefull for Pat...

[Q] Duplicate Whatsapp images

Hi there,
I think this is something all of the android users have noticed at least once. But I couldn't find an answer to it so I thought I'll ask it here. If it's already been answered then I'm very sorry.
If you download an image in Whatsapp that a contact sent you it is downloaded in the 'Whatsapp Images' directory. This directory is accessable through the Gallery or Quickpic or whatever.
When you decide to send that same image to another contact, Whatsapp creates a new file in the 'Whatsapp Images' directory while it's the same image. So then you have a duplicate file.
Each time you send or receive the very same image it gets duplicated by Whatsapp. Some popular images are already 8 times in my 'Whatsapp Images' directory. I think this is very annoying.
I tried a duplicate file finder. That works (but not always as good as I wish), and I have to do it everytime I send something to multiple contacts. Why can't Whatsapp detect this?
If there is a solution to this, please enlighten me. If you are not experiencing this at all but think to know what I'm doing wrong, again, please enlighten me!
Thanks in advance.
What does the develloper say about this , i've experienced it too but never did something with it

i dont know the app you mentioned, but im guessing if you go into the system app folder, you probably would be able to see it there, and delete it.
EDIT: i looked into ispyoo a bit, try dialling
#4779*
and see what that gives you.
or check out this page

Thank you very much for reply. ))
But the app isnt showing in system folder too. That number is not working either. you can see how they trickfully said on that website "(Once iSpyoo is installed you will find a new icon on your phone. Or to make dial #4779* to open iSpyoo.)"
They dont want users to remove it easily.
But we know its there, because he got email confirmation of ispyoo is activated. And whatsapp conversation word files are being created automatically..

well its an app, so it definitely has to be somewhere. you can try /device>data>app, thats where user apps are, it might be there. failing that, i would download es file explorer and go the topmost folder, that contains all other folders, and search for all apk files, it probably will find it. if it dosent, search again with ispyoo as the saerch keyword, if tthat still hasnt found it use recovery to totally wipe the entire device.
or just ask the person who put it on to remove it.

Hallo
They have option to login to the website with usersname and password, and then go to uninstall option. It gets uninstalled from there to your phone.
We cornered the guy!!, and then he(scared) removed it using the users name and password he signed up for it. (A legendary old method for app solution!)
It even had option to disallow certain apps, or stop apps in the target phone. Do you believe? Now all good.
Thank you for your concern and help )
see you

Hello bro, were you able to remove it from iphone? I had no idea... may be you reset the iphone? I hope something worked for you.
so, question still remains, how do you check the program is installed or not if it is hidden?
To check if the app is installed or not (while its hidden) you should have root access in your phone. Open the root directory and system folder and search for the installed apps. In this folder you will see all the installed apps on your phone wether they are hidden or visible.
Btw these days not only the syping apps are spying on users but even the utility or gaming apps spy on users via microphone or taking screenshots of device display to collect data and show revelent ads to them.

[Q] trying to recover wallpaper photo

Several photos were inadvertently deleted, one of which was my lock screen photo, which I really want to salvage. I can't seem to find it anywhere on the phone. I've also tried Android file transfer, no luck there either. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. Stock android 5.0.1 if that matters. Thanks.

Your lock screen photo? Stock android doesn't let you set a separate photo for your lock screen. It just uses whatever your home screen wallpaper is.

How was it deleted? Most of the time, if you delete something, it's gone.
If you mean you set a wallpaper then deleted the image and you think its recoverable because its still your wallpaper, well its not. It doesn't store the image anywhere.
If you're rooted, there are apps that may be able to recover the deleted photos
Yeah that's what I mean. I thought it would still be a data file somewhere.

Yep, its stored as data not as an image.
Ok, so it's stored as some kind of .dat file and therefore not recoverable in its original JPEG format. Is that correct?

If its something you got off the internet you could try taking a screenshot and using a reverse image search service like Google Images or Tineye.
Like Rootsu said, try this app in the play store "diskdigger".
I lost a load of photos after an update, this app found all of them.
It will also find a lot of junk so it will take you a while to sort through everything.
Needs root.

Photos doesnt show on N roms

Hey everyone! I have a problem with every N rom i've tried, that in some app like google photos, the default wallpaper picker, and the inbuilt file manager, lot of my camera pictures (from a specific date), and some of my wallpaper folders doesn't show up. But in other apps like totalcommander or Quickpic they are there. Do you guys have any ideas what's causing this? On MM roms everything works fine, and i haven't read anything like this from other users. I would appreciate any help or idea

If i snap a pic now its gona be there, but if i change to a different N rom or just do a clean flash, then the last photos the apps gonna show, those will be the ones i took in april. And with other wallpaper directories, the half of them are there but the other half is missing.

Are your photos dependent on Google Photos? Maybe they're in the cloud and can be accessed on another device.
Also, use a root file manager to search your device for all *.jpg.
