[Completed] Lenovo A7600-HV (sim version) stock or workin rom? - XDA Assist

hello, is there any stock rom for this tablet bough in China? While upgrading (the officially way lol), it got bricked. I have found one thread with link to russian lenovo site with plenty of firmwares (http://lenovo-forums.ru/files/category/49-прошивки-lenovo-a10-a7600/), but it seems no one is supporting the SIM for calling as in description. I am very grateful for any help (friends device, right?). If trying to get into recovery menu, it writes "wrong order".
Also how to put new fw there? Do I need special tool as a Odin, or is it some kind of direct upgrade from SD card? Thx.

Hi Wakizashis
Apologies for the late reply. I can see you're having a hard time finding any help. You can bump your other thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...k-firmware-t3316083/post65352270#post65352270 by posting in it every 24 hours to bring it back up to the top. Hopefully you'll find someone who knows the answer.

Hello,
solved the issue. Another version of flashing tool worked with some obscure version of firmware.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S Upgrade

Hello all, I have a Galaxy S that is unlocked, i have been trying to install Android 2.2 using the latest Kies software, but all i keep getting is the following.
Current Ver: 2.1 - Update, PDA:JF3 / Phone:JF3 / CSC:JE5 This version of the device cannot be updated.
My wife has the same phone on the Orange Network, this updated straight away with no problems, and works just fine.
I was wondering if it is the fact that if the phone is unlocked, and the update is not possible. We live in the UK. Any help would be greatfully received.
Thank You
I was hoping that this would be the Forum that would have least given a reply to my thread, but it seems not so. I notice that over 200 hundred people have looked at the question.
I live in hope than an answer will be forthcoming, even if somebody tells me to go away.
What kind of Galaxy S do you have?
You can do the registry hack for kies to change your product code and update to the generic rom, however I believe this hack has been patched for the most recent version of kies. I'll see if I can find a link to the hacking guide for you.

[Q] Custom Rom Installation on Spanish Motorola XT910

Hi all, I am needing a little help here, I was given a Motorola XT910 (RAZR) handset and unfortunately its a Spanish model and I found out that there was no updates beyond 4.0.4. The system version is 672.180.41.XT910.YOIGO.en.ES I am therefore trying to find a good custom rom to be able to flash on this model of phone. Could someone point out a good rom to flash with and instructions on how to do this as my phone flash knowledge is a little outdated. Thank you.

[Q] Huawei Ascend G330

Hi,
I'm sure this has been answered a lot before, and I've looked at a lot of the threads, but none of them seem to offer a concise way of actually Rooting and Flashing the G330 with a Kitkat rom.
I've got the code from Huawei to unlock my bootloader, however my previous attempt at flashing/rooting etc has resulted in a bricked phone, which is on its way back to Huawei now for reflashing under warranty thankfully.
What is the best app to use for rooting? I used UnlockRoot Free version before, which did appear to work, is this the best one to use? Also, what version of CWM (or is there a better one?) do I use, I checked the CWM site, and there doesn't appear to be a specific version for the G330, which worries me slightly, there is the Huawei Ascend listed, but not sure if that's a different phone.
Finally, the ROM, the one I've considered using is Slimkat for the G330, would people recommend this?
If someone could write a quick how-to, or point me to a good how-to, so I don't brick my phone a second time when it comes back.
Much appreciated,
Regards
Michael

[Q] Where to download roms?

Hello. I'm new here. I just updated my Samsung Note 2 SGH-I317M with Bell Canada. I now have Android 4.4.2
I don't need instructions on how to root/unlock. I've done it in the past using a program called Odin.
All i need to know is where do i download the correct rom for my phone?
I've looked on this website but i can't seem to find the rom section. Is there a different website that everyone gets their roms?
Please help me.

Samsung-updates, Sammobile...
Most good brand phone roms are here on xda-developers. but if you have chinese phone look them on needrom.com. also there are plenty of roms on 4pda.ru forum (if you know russian).
I don't understand russian or chinese and sam's mobile only has stock roms.
I ended up finding one made by someone called chainfire
Good thing we have smart people who do this, I really hate how cellphone companies install so many junk apps.
It works good. Anyways, Thanks for the replies.

About stock roms

Hi, I recently updated from Android 11 to 12 and I want to go back (reasons). I have a Moto G31 bought in the Philippines.
My question is mainly about stock roms if I were to flash the firmware:
- Would I be able to get it to be identical to when I bought the phone? i.e all the same few preinstalled Moto apps and it would still go through all the normal Moto updates again?
- Would the warranty (according to the device itself) be intact? also, in other words, would the phone itself know it was different from when I first bought it?
- Would a stock rom from say Brazil be different to the one I should have on my Phillippines model (assuming they both have the exact same version number RRWB31.Q3-46-85)?
Thank you in advance for any replies
You are not the only one wanting to go back. I have found the correct ROM for me (eu) but not the correct instructions. The Lenovo forum has several pages in the thread for Android 12 problems on the G31 and people are pretty upset. There is another thread here too asking for help on rolling back the ROM, and I hope someone here on XDA who is knowledgeable can help.
