First time posting here so forgive me for any mistakes
--Alright guys so I bought this Galaxy S4 T Mobile - Unlocked and rooted it.
Root was successful but I went into the about section and did a T- Mobile update. I selected it and my phone started rebooting.
After that a screen appeared with the android icon saying "Installing system update". It went to 95% and then said the update failed and "Your device will restore to original firmware" or something like that.
After that it restarted with the S4 Logo and Recovery Booting (in small blue letters) and started installing the update; and it's been happening again and again!
It's stuck! I don't have any personal data on it but I really want it to work again! Please help I'm ****ed!

I made an account to solve my problem here, therefore you guys would do me a HUGE favor if you solve my problem here..
I have a GT-I9505 that I bought 2 years ago and flashed the Lollipop 5.0.1 ROM via odin about a month ago, a few days later I rooted my phone via Kingo ROOT and everything was working fine but my date & time keeps changing to February 2014.
Two days ago I tried booting into Recovery Mode for the first time after rooting and I see that Android laying down with a red caution sign, I clicked on "reboot system now" and that's when my problem started. (it's not a custom recovery like TWRP, just the regular one)
As soon as I rebooted my phone I get a BLANK SCREEN with "Unfortunately, ........... has stopped", more like it was like this for all of my apps. I couldn't find a way to solve this but then I resorted to extracting my files and then factory resetting my phone, unfortunately I couldn't find a solution to access my phone until a miracle happened and made my phone working again. Everything went well till today when I tried rebooting into recovery mode but the SAME exact problem happened, what to do here? I have no problem of resetting my phone again but I don't want the same problem again.
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. The best place for your question would be the S4 help thread here:

Thread closed, thanks.
I rooted my phone to enter to custom CWM recovery mode via ODIN . Just after i tried to install a zip file "LockscreenEffect_OneHand_GS3_4.3_MK6_v4" (ink effect on the lock screen". It appeared to be installed successfully but when i start my phone again the very first thing i faced is that i was not getting signal coverage any more. "Setting options" stopped working and always throwing as error "unfortunately settings has stopped working". I thought of factory reset it via CWM recovery mode but now nothing is happening and phone has got stuck on the same screen "Samsung Galaxt SIII" pls pls pls pls pls help
Hello, and welcome to XDA Assist! It sounds as if you may have to reflash stock firmware to restore your phone, but I would recommend you ask your question in the dedicated help forum for your device first, in case someone has a better idea: Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting. You will need to register to post there.

I had a notification on my galaxy grand prime for a software update.
The update was for lollipop for andriod. I accepted and downloaded the update.
It gave me a message sayimg the phone needed to reboot. So i clicked ok the phone rebooted but now its stuck at the samsung splash screen.
When i try to hard reset the phome to see if that will help, it comes on with a list in the top left corner that says odin mode, the phones model number, reactivation enabled etc...
Is there anyone who can help me get my phone back?

Hi there,
After a notification on my unrooted Oukitel U8 to update I followed what I've previously done in the past but this time the phone won't reboot and the dead Android logo with the red warning triangle comes up with "no command" underneath. I can get it into the system recovery menu but whatever option I choose it will only get to the dead android logo and continually try to reboot but still only coming up with the dead android logo.
I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas on trying to get the phone working again.
Many thanks,
Warren
