I rooted my phone to enter to custom CWM recovery mode via ODIN . Just after i tried to install a zip file "LockscreenEffect_OneHand_GS3_4.3_MK6_v4" (ink effect on the lock screen". It appeared to be installed successfully but when i start my phone again the very first thing i faced is that i was not getting signal coverage any more. "Setting options" stopped working and always throwing as error "unfortunately settings has stopped working". I thought of factory reset it via CWM recovery mode but now nothing is happening and phone has got stuck on the same screen "Samsung Galaxt SIII" pls pls pls pls pls help
Hello, and welcome to XDA Assist! It sounds as if you may have to reflash stock firmware to restore your phone, but I would recommend you ask your question in the dedicated help forum for your device first, in case someone has a better idea: Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting. You will need to register to post there.
Good luck!

Okay so I tried running a kernel and went into recovery mode using ROM Manager on my Galaxy Note 3. It started recovery mode and on the top it says " Recovery booting . . . . Recovery is not seandroid enforcing Set warranty bit : recovery" And about 5 seconds of the screen being on it turns off and then starts that over again... The problem is that I've tried every possible way on every thread I've seen to get it into the recovery menu but absolutely nothing is doing anything. No combination of buttons is getting past that screen or getting it to a recovery menu. So there's no way I can wipe the whole device. Totally stuck and nothing is working.

Hi, i have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. i have rooted the device but it became very slow so i went into settings and did a factory reset. the device just went into twrp recovery and when i tried restarting the device, it just kept going to twrp. i downloaded the stock 4.2 jelly bean rom for tab 3 lite on my computer, formatted the device on twrp and flashed the rom with odin. now when the device starts up, it goes directly to twrp but it doesn't load and the screen pixelates and keeps restarting and going back to twrp. i tried entering download mode, but it stays there for 5 seconds and then switches off. please help, i have read all the threads and followed all the steps but nothing works

Hi guys have a bit of a problem with my tab,
I have tried to factory reset it as it was running slow. (never been rooted or touch from standard) and it has just sat me on a "Downloading... Do not turn off target" screen, for the past 15 hours!!
I have tried holding power button + Volume Down to get into a recovery mode but screen just flashes then pops up with the same message.
I have been looking through the internet at loads of different posts trying different things with no joy. Only hoping that with the post being relatively old now someone may have a new way to fix this issue.
Okay here is what i have found out to help anyone help me...
It is not connecting to Kies it registering a device there but eventually pops up with a message saying "device taking to long to respond".
It is registering in device manager (see picture)
Have tried to use one of the guides from here to go through Odin and upload Rom to it,
this is the rom i used : N8010XXUDNE4_N8010BTUDNF1_HOME.tar.md5
When it was going through it said Failed to partition.
Did some more googling and searching and found a PIT file and tried again.
This failed.
Completely stuck now don't no what to do so any help would be great.

Hello,
So I have a little problem. I was trying to install a ROM and did some mistake. I wiped almost everything on my tablet and restore the system. It said "there's no OS installed" and when I try to reboot I can't get past through the Samsung logo.
I know how to get to download mode and recovery mode, Odin recognizes my tablet while in download mode, but I don't know what to do. Kies, on the other hand, doesn't recognize my tablet and still says "Connecting..."
Can someone help me please?

Hi, Im new to the forum.
My Galaxy S5 LTE-A (G906S) has been stuck in a boot loop. I successfully restored it through Kies a month ago but now its doing the same thing.
I've tried flashing with both, ODIN and Kies yesterday, but it still appears to be in a boot loop but now with a prompt at the top "recovery booting" in blue.
Also I can only access the download mode; cant seem to access the recovery mode. Hope it isnt a hardware issue... Can anyone please shed some light on the issue.
Thanks
PS. The device isnt/wasnt rooted.
