My phone keeps restarting. Black screen -> Warning bootloader unlocked -> Black screen... etc. I also cannot access the recovery, gives me a black screen only.
Is the phone broken, or is there something that can be done?
What phone do you have? What caused this to happen?
XT1032
Installed PhilZ Advanced Recovery. Made a backup, rebooted devices, and stuck in this bootloop. When enter Bootloader to get to recovery, all i get is a black screen.
Can't even shut the phone off, because it keeps restarting.
Flash Philz again but don't reboot the phone. When Philz flashes successfully, use the phone's volume buttons to go to recovery from fastboot.
The problem here is i cannot get the phone to show up as an attached device, unless i do it "manually" where i reboot into bootloader from the standard android/phone interface.
You need to be in fastboot mode on the phone to flash Philz. Re-booting to bootloader from Android is fine.
After a little tweaking and some work, I managed to get it working.
Thank you for your help.
So I started off by doing a factory reset on the tablet. When it rebooted, it got stuck on a black screen just after the Nvidia Logo. Resetting it had done nothing. I was able to get into fastboot mode where I then tryed booting to recovery mode. Nothing Happened. From here I thought the only way to fix this would be to reinstall the ROM. I managed to install TWRP Recovery 2.8.7.0, but when It booted into recovery, it gave a bunch of errors that It couldn't mount a series of volumes(?) or whatever. It started formatting data and rebooted a few times. I let it do its thing. Now If I try to turn the tablet on it sits at the Nvidia Logo and if I go into fastboot and try to boot recovery I get the Android Bot with a Red Triangle and an exclamation mark in it.
What Should I do and where do I start?
Thanks Guys!
I keep flashing TWRP on the nvidia shield tablet wifi edition but every time I boot into android, turn off, then boot into bootloader and then recovery. It keeps on loading the stock recovery with the android laying down. It will load twrp after flashed if I reboot into recovery from recovery, reboot into bootloader and then boot into recovery, completely turn off then boot into bootloader then recovery. But as soon as I boot into android os then go back into recovery. TWRP wont show and load. Why? Can someone help me fix this???? Thanks for the help!!!!!
I unlocked my fully stock 32 GB Nexus 5 (6.0.1) and then proceeded to flash the latest TWRP. When I rebooted into recovery, the TWRP splash screen shows briefly, the screen flickers black, and then the TWRP splash screen reappears and it does this ad infinitem. When I try to reboot normally it also tries to reboot into recovery, leading to the recovery bootloop.
I also tried flashing CWM and that did nothing either. So currently I can neither boot into the ROM nor boot into recovery. I've tried 3 different versions of TWRP as well.
Thoughts/help?
EDIT: I flashed another version of TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/hammerhead/twrp-2.8.7.1-hammerhead.img) and it manages to start booting into recovery and briefly shows the attached screen (took a picture) before rebooting and bootlooping recovery again.
Flashed factory images from Google and it seems to be booting into the OS normally. Will try recovery again soon…
I tried to reflash factory image and then flash Magisk. Now, whenever i try to boot my phone up it only boots to TWRP. But TWRP doesnt even work. It is stuck on the splash screen and it flashes between the splash screen and black. TWRP never actually loads up. I am using a Moto G4/athene.
