Flashtool ERROR - Processing of loader.sin finished with errors ? - General Questions and Answers

Hi
I am trying [at this point] to flash a standard sony ROM to an unlocked Xperia Ray ST18i.
Using Androxyde's Flashtool 0.9.19.10 under W7-64, I have downloaded the ROM using Xperifirm.
Then under Tools, Bundles, Create, I have created the ftf.
Put the phone into USB debug mode, and allowed apps from unknown sources.
After I start flashing the ROM, connect the device in flash mode, I receive an error message that I do not know how to resolve:
Please connect your device into flashmode.

It appears that there is something wrong with loader.sin, but what?
I am not a developer so I don't know.
Maybe you do?
Elsewhere for someone with a similar issue I read someone point to drivers, but Flashtool appears to be communicating fine with the device, as I was able to use Flashtool to root it for example.
Thank you in advance.

I didn't do anything incorrectly.
The present version(s) of Flashtool (0.9.19.10) does not work for 2011 Xperia's, contrary to what is implied by the Flashtool web site which starts:
"Flashtool is a S1 flashing software that works for all Sony phones from X10 to Xperia Z Ultra. They all use the S1 protocol for flashing firmwares."
The solution is to download and install an old version of Flashtool and use that, as described on page 3, starting at post #23 of this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2704893&page=3
Thanks to lito15 for posting the answer. I used Flashtool 0.6.7 and it worked with the Ray ST18i. This version does not have XperiFirm built in, so you have to find the ftf to flash elsewhere.
I am grateful for this generally well made utility Flashtool, some more complete and accurate documentation would have saved me several hours.

Bricked x10

Hi, first of all, i know there are lots of post about bricked phones, trust me, i've seen most of them but none of it helped me and i am kind of fraking out. I got a Sony x10 a few weeks ago and I loved it. I upgraded it to Andoird 2.3.3, rooted it, installed xRecovery, etc. But yesterday I tried to install Android ICS, for that I had to unlock bootloader. Read a lot of post and started, and finally used a method which uses kernel downgrade, a batch program and the kernel upgrade, but guess what, it didn't work, couldn't flash kernel upgrade after all. What freaks me out is that I can't install any ftf either, flashtools keeps showing ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed". Tried using update service, tried with many ftf files and flashtools. Nothing happens. Phone just vibrates a little bit longer than normal when I turn it on and nothing else. It also turn the green led on when connecting to the charger and flash mode seems to work.
I am desperate, I had to do a lot to get a phone like this and now it doesn't even boot with the SE logo. Thanks and I hope someone has the solution.
I forgot to put this:

complete log, saved when trying to flash stock 2.3.3 firmware
That one should be easy to solve When you choose an ftf file to flash in firmware selection window you have to check "No final verification". That worked for me
P.S. also try to post your threads in the right section
brick
u must try another flash tool the older version
U read a lots, but why didnt u unlock using flashtool plugins? It's easier.

(Xperia J) Can't flash in flash mode

Hello, first of all sorry for my english.
Yesterday I flashed my Xperia J with FXP223, everything was ok except that I have no network, and my IMEI was gone.
I've found that I have to flash my phone with an ICS stock rom and reflash with FXP223.
But i can't flash my phone in flash mode.
I followed all instructions, Flashtool -> flash mode -> select .ftf rom -> plug my phone in flash mode when asked, green led is OK -> and then the flash freeze at "Flashing data" and at the same time my green led shutdown.

Did you install the drivers from the flashtool folder? If not that may very well be your problem.

Flashtool-drivers.exe doesn't have drivers for Xperia J, I've tested to manually import J drivers with that method : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41592930&postcount=15 but doesn't work too.
Sony companion recognize my phone (when I test to recover my phone it says that my phone has been modified, but it recognize the phone)
I don't know what to do

Did you install the fastboot and flashmode drives from the setup as you may need them too. I think it would be worth it to install all of the drivers from the driver setup folder. If you try that and then that method after I think it should work.
OMFG
After hours and hours of research and test, it finally works !!! (on the 4th PC )
Certainly drivers conflict or something like that.
If someone have the same problem :
Install only Flashtool v0.9.10.1
Install flashmode drivers with Flashtool-drivers.exe
Launch it.
Import ST26 drivers in flashtool (search ST26.zip on google)
Connect the Xperia J in flashmode to automatically install the windows drivers.
When complete disconnect the Xperia J.
In Flashtool -> flashmode -> select a stock .ftf rom -> flash -> connect the xperia in flashmode when asked. Yeah it flash.
I insist that on this PC, I have never installed SEUS, PC companion or others software or drivers.
(For those who want, I flashed with an ICS stock rom then FXP218, now all works)
Thank you gamer649 for trying to help me

It is good to hear you got it working. I've just noticed you previously said you tried to repair your phone in PC companion. That would have stopped it working too. I'm sorry I didn't pick that up sooner.
tried all of that but no luck when i press on the thunder icon it says wait for flash

Remove SIM Card, MMC & then flash! Also, note that sometimes flashing doesn't work after you resume from Standby/Hibernate mode in PC.

[Completed] Cont. Xperia C4 (5306) won't turn on after system upgrade

Hello,
This is a continuation of post http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/xperia-c4-5306-wont-upgrade-t3301096?nocache=1 To recap, about two weeks ago I got a OTA update message, left the phone updating which resulted in a complete unresponsive device, that is a black screen, a red light when charging. The only thing that is allowing me is to go into flashmode, which I've been using to try to repair.
The last thing I've tried was to use Flashtool (v. 0.9.18.6) which gave the the following error.

As I mentioned in the other thread, with flashtool v. 0.9.19.10 the only error I received was about a missing flashboot-delivery otherwise the flashing process continued.
Another thing that I've noticed is that when I plug the phone without going into flashmode, windows (8.1 or 10) doesn't recognize it. I keep hearing the sound of a device plugged and unplugged. This makes me think that it may be the cause why I get an error when using Sony PCC. Oh, also I get no message when using adb as suggested in http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-c5-ultra/development/bootloader-unlocked-custom-recovery-t3285521
I've read elsewhere about a way to repair a bricked phone by finding a test point but I found no tutorials for my phone.
Any ideas will be welcomed

Hello,
This is a continuation of post http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/xperia-c4-5306-wont-upgrade-t3301096?nocache=1 To recap, about two weeks ago I got a OTA update message, left the phone updating which resulted in a complete unresponsive device, that is a black screen, a red light when charging. The only thing that is allowing me is to go into flashmode, which I've been using to try to repair.
The last thing I've tried was to use Flashtool (v. 0.9.18.6) which gave the the following error.
Code:

Hi and welcome to XDA.
There's no dedicated forum for your device here in XDA. I found a discussion thread about the flashtool here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...roxydes-flashtool-features-xperia-c4-t3292650 You can try asking there or in General discussion Questions and Answers
Good luck

[PLEASE HELP] Flash tool problem: Flash stopped with no red error

I'm trying to downgrade my xz from 8.0 to 7.1.1
The flash tool I 'm using is 0.9.24.4 and 0.9.28.0. I had already unlock the bootloader pf my xperia xz, all the drivers had be setup.
When I try to connect my phone to my PC it always shows the following situation :
14/034/2020 14:34:47 - INFO - Starting phone detection
14/034/2020 14:34:50 - INFO - Device connected in flash mode

14/037/2020 14:37:36 - INFO - Opening device for R/W
14/037/2020 14:37:40 - INFO - Device disconnected
14/037/2020 14:37:41 - INFO - Device connected in flash mode
I had check that there is no problem with my cable. So I had tried the other version. On 0.9.23.0.
Everything is the same, but in 0.9.23.0 it shows the following:
18:26:16 - INFO - Start Flashing
18:26:16 - INFO - No loader in the bundle. Searching for one
18:26:16 - INFO - No matching loader found
18:26:16 - WARN - No loader found or set manually. Skipping loader
I had also tried 0.9.18.6, and I think it's too old and doesn't work for XZ.
Can anyone help me!! PLEASE!!!
redownload system image and reinstall drivers
Are you using win8.1? In that release, the driver always gives errors I switched to Windows 10, and i've improved this error
