Hi,
I'm currently on 5.1.1 stock rom from OnePlus one - Cyanogen 12.1.1 - YOG7DAS2K1.
Every part of the touchscreen works except for the buttons at the bottom. Is there any fix for the issue or is the screen malfunctioning?
I also dont get the options to enable soft touch buttons.
Try to reflash the rom

Hello,
I have the same problem, even in recovery mode, so I'm not sure flashing a new rom would be the solution. Is there a radio or some low level update to solve this ? or maybe it is a hardware problem...

Need Solution
Can any one provide the solution of this problem....
try flashing your stock firmware (the actual os that came with your phone)... if all is working normally then the problem is in the rom and you'll have to contact the developer of the rom.

screen time out is in you settings under display i believe.
You might check the build.prop file under /system for weird settings.
Also look for settings for your proximity sensor to recalibrate, it might be that.
It can also be a driver issue, just revert to stock rom then.
Even I have tried the same ROM on my E3.Its worked perfectly. But when I switched back to Stock ROM I faced the similar issue after an update.
Flashing the perfect ROM is really important to avoid these bugs.
I got it to service center and they flashed my E3 with the original stock one and the issue was sloved.
Stock ROM available in the net is not a perfect one.
Try a different ROM mate.
I updated to the new firmware (4.4.4) this weekend. Everything is working great, except the g-sensor seems to be a bit wonky... Often, the screen does not auto-rotate. Also, I use Screeble Pro app to keep the screen on when not laying flat and it consistently thinks the phone is laying flat when it is not (did that make sense?). I've tried the basic calibrate function in the settings, but that did not help. Also, flashed the new firmware with both the RUU. and SD card methods... Even went back to 4.4.3 firmware with no change... Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

OK, update... The sensor info to Screebl seems to be working, but the auto rotate (can't even force it to landscape) stopped working at all.

Did you flash the firmware via ADB? Did you flash it 2x??
I had an issue with my IR blaster after I updated to 4.4.4. Could have been caused by my not flashing the firmware twice, or because of non-matching firmware/rom.

Flashed it twice... via fastboot RUU method (as well as with the SD card method) I am currently running a 4.4.3 based ROM (ViperOne 2.5). Am hoping that when that ROM gets updated to the 4.4.4 version and I do a clean install maybe the problem will go away...
Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem? My OPO has no backlight after it boots up. The backlight is fine during the initial boot up (the powered by android page) but it disappears right after that page. Everything else works fine! How do I know? I shine torchlight onto the screen and I can see the LCD pixel to be working but NOT the backlight. Any help? Thanks!
Unlocked and rooted with CM12 nightlies installed before backlight disappeared. Done everything suggested for corrupted memory, bootloop, hard bricked etc. I am currently on stock unrooted CM11s with stock recovery.
How did you flash CM11S back onto your device?

Fastboot mode, unzipped CM11S and flash images.
You flashed everything from within the stock image zip?

Yup I did. I followed the exact instructions for changing from colour OS to cm11s, I reckon that is the best way to restore the OPO to original state.
It definitely is. Seems like it's possibly a kernel issue, have you tried a custom kernel to see if it changes the situation?

Sigh I tried both franco and boeffla and it still does not work. Thanks anyway!
If not working, I suggest you flash Calkulin's Stock CM11S XNPH44S. It's all stock with root. I always use this build when I need go back to stock, saves all fastboot hassle.

That was what I did before creating this thread. Maybe I should play around with other CM11 roms+their other kernels see which one works
Does the backlight work in recovery?
And I assume (sounds like yes) you did a full factory reset?
Once had a similar problem caused by an 3rd-party app that controlled the backlight. If you did a factory reset that shouldn't be the case, though. logcat?
I tried franco and it works! Not sure why though. At first I was having system ui fc which is a bug with r37+cm12 roms. I reverted to cm11 roms+r37 and it worked. Still, no backlight while booting though, but the backlight turned back on once it finishes booting up. Thanks all!
I'm currently on the latest Cyanogen build "12.1-YOG4PAS3JL" and I noticed the proximity sensor isn't working. I've heard that flashing a modem can solve this issue, but I'm not sure what modem I should flash and where I can find the right one?
I am using the 05/15 firmware. Everything here works fine.
How did upgrade?
With custom recovery? Which?
Go to settings and check baseband
Must have DI. 3..0.c6-00241-Mxxxxxxx
Have c7 on mine.

Quick Solution, works for both kitkat and lollipop android versions, I've tried myself and it was the only solution I found.
1 - Flash this: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001607675 (44S Modem)
2 - Flash this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bdnirlhnrj60ojs/Android-5.0.2-CM11S-OldSensorPatch.zip?dl=0 (Proximity sensor patch)

Sadly I had tons of problems with that modem.
I am beginning to hate and loathe this piece of junk phone.
EDIT:
I flashed the 05-15 modem (v241) and it seems signal is better AND the proximity sensor works.
I'm not sure why everyone still insists on that old KitKat modem.
So recently I flashed Sultans Lineage ROM on my OnePlus One and it miraculously fixed my touch screen issues that I have had since I bought the phone in 2014. I then went on holiday to Indonesia and to my surprise, the touch screen issues came back (I did not perform any updates). After that I tried re-flashing the same ROM and the touch screen issues still exist. Can anybody suggest a stable ROM which is known to fix the touch screen issues on the OPO?
Wrong thread... And its mostly hardware issue...
